Nothing beats a local coffee shop with character. Price is reasonable and the nitro cold brew is smooth. They have several coffee options and flavors. Definitely worth a try if your a coffee connoisseur. 💪

Fine little coffee shop in Burbank — the interior is small and cute, lined with wooden benches with a nice outdoor seating on the side — plentiful! There’s parking out front which is convenient. The prices are average and there’s an extensive list, I got the matcha lavender iced latte with almond milk and my friend got the hot Mexican mocha. Both drinks were good, sweet. The latte tasted like a normal matcha latte with sweetened almond milk… I couldn’t taste the lavender that much which I was disappointed about. The pastries looked big and appealing, thought we didn’t get any. Basing this review off the matcha latte I had — I drink a lot of matchas and I think this was pretty decent, average. Not bad at all by any means. 3.7 stars — perhaps if I had a different drink and tried their food, the rating would be different but I would recommend this place as a place to meet up with people! This is a good place to meet up a friend to catch up. The location is good - Porto’s bakery and cafe is down the road which is also nice.

Love the vibe here! Right off Magnolia, this coffee shop has beautiful indoor and outdoor design. If it wasn’t so cold outside, I would’ve enjoyed breakfast on their succulent-lined patio. Long line but fast and efficient, you can tell lots of locals go here. While I was briefly waiting for my americano, i was enjoying all the artwork on the walls. Cool spot, highly recommend you try their brew!

I ordered a latte and sausage bagel while I was waiting. It was a hot day in Burbank. Indoor seatings were air-conditioned but very limited (5-6 people maybe). Fret not! There were also shaded seatings out in the patio in the back (right next to the parking lot). It was hedged with bushes and decorated with a green wall (succulent-covered), completed with end tables and such. It really was a great spot for a leisurely weekend.

I love this spot! I hardly ever write reviews but this place is a Burbank staple and wanted to give them my five stars. A wonderful place with friendly staff where you can grab a tasty drink, sit at the lovely patio, and get work done while surrounded by lively people and conversations. And there's *always* a cute dog sighting.

I was going to meet up with some friends at Black Elephant Coffee so I decided to take a look at their menu ahead of time so that I wouldn’t have to stare at the menu for too long. I decided I wanted to try the smoothie, but unfortunately when I arrived, they told me they no longer serve that. So I went with my second choice the hot chocolate. They also run out of pastries quite fast, so I had to settle for my second option yet again, the Ham and cheese croissant. My hot chocolate was just ok. I wish there was a richer chocolatey flavor, but it was still good. The Ham and cheese croissant on the other hand was amazing! I loved how flakey and crispy their croissants were! I saw another friend of mine with a almond croissant that looked just as delicious! Amazing pastries! Will definitely be back for those croissants!

EDIT: unfortunately it seems like things have changed here and it longer serves the delicious coffee it used to. Sigh. You can easily find some of the best lattes in town at this location. I had the hazelnut latte with oatmilk and it was heavenly. Comes with a cute patio as well!

Great coffee and the best vegan mushroom & cheese pastry I had in LA. Happy to live close to this place!

This coffee house is adorable inside and on a side street so the outdoor seating is quiet. This visit I enjoyed a seasonal blood orange lemonade. I was saddened as I had selected this particular location for a shopping trip break and had my heart set on a seasonal marshmallow latte from the menu on google maps. It had been rotated off the menu but hadn’t been updated. 😕 Excellent place, just don’t decide on your order until you arrive! 🤍

Perfect place to set up outside & get some work done! The service was friendly, they had a few pastry / bakery options, and the latte was delicious. Very cool spot! Traveler Notes: They do have public wifi, they don’t have public restrooms — there are a few places nearby where you can use the restroom. Indoor seating limited, handful of outdoor tables — limited (maybe no?) outlets

A warm greeting upon entry, quick service and asked all the right questions to make my order as I'd like, and decent price point are all a major plus. Cute interior decor. A handful of seats outside. My beverage was good, not my favorite, but good. Iced matcha rose latte is one of my regular go to's. Good enough for another visit, but think I'll go for a coffee beverage.

Slow service people at counter don’t seem to care about speed. Espresso is good or coffee it comes from stumptown which is always good. Super small place has a patio - breakfast super limited. Pastries very generic nothing to right home about. Grab a latte here then go for breakfast some where else kind of place. That is if you want to wait for them to take your order.

Small shop, good espresso. And I adore elephants. A great stop and not too far from Porto’s if you don’t feel like dealing with the crowds. I did pay $7.50 for a small coffee with oat milk tho. They have vegan and gluten free options.

Just came here after a bad experience at a nearby coffee shop. Was pleasantly surprised with super friendly staff, cozy vibe, and solid coffee. Glad to have found it.
