Sergio at Burbank Crunch location is a liar. When he signed up myself and my son he just very quickly made us sign agreement without explaining any future fees. I sign up a week later i get charged on my card a new monthly fee. Then 2 weeks later i get charged annual fee again. I called him and he insulted me by saying not my fault you don't know how to read and texted me my contract and for my son. Very unhappy with this individual and would not recommend anyone to him.

I’m a member of the Burbank club. I have been attempting to temporarily pause/freeze my membership and no one has bothered to reply to me. I emailed the management, as directed by a gym employee, multiple times now. I’m going to be out of the country for six months and paying for the gym is pretty pointless during that period. I liked the club. Now, not so much.

I really liked the gym when I signed up and did go there for some time. When plans changed and I decided to cancel my membership, I stopped by Crunch in Burbank and asked an associate to cancel my membership. They did their thing in the computer and told me I could still attend the rest of the month. The following month my automatic withdrawals stopped and I thought that was it. More than a year later I suddenly noticed I had a charge from Crunch, I looked at previous months and saw they had started charging me 3 months prior. When I called Crunch, they told me to email the Manager, which I did, and the manager's reply to me was to send proof of my cancellation or they would not refund. Well, I don't have proof since I canceled my membership with an associate and trusted enough not to ask for documentation or some sort of proof of my request so no refund for me. So as an advice to anyone who goes to Crunch fitness. If you decide to cancel your membership, make sure you obtain records or proof of your cancellation and keep that proof somewhere safe as they may start charging you again later in life and ask for a proof of cancellation in order to refund. All and all, they lost my and my family's future business for a measly $120 or so, hope it was worth it for them.

Beware. Shady tactics. Near impossible to cancel membership. Fraudulent. I’ve been a member for years and enjoyed the gym and staff in that time. Recently, I’ve been trying to cancel my membership, as I moved from the location. It’s going on 2 months of me trying to accomplish this task. The corporate site does not return cancelation requests, and the gym manager purposely ignores them. I’ve left countless messages for Sheena, the operations manager, who refuses to take or return my calls or emails. I’ve reported them as fraud to my credit card company and reported to the BBB. Do yourself a favor and save the headache of this place.

Jenae had an attitude, was rude and incompetent regarding my membership. I have the highest level membership here and she was telling me I would be charged $10 to enter the gym and $16 for my guest. How about no. I did not encounter any issues going to WeHo Crunch and shouldn’t here either. Management needs to retrain her.

I’ve been a member for years, but there are so many minors and groups of minors hanging out in the gym and locker room now, it’s a turn off for people who are not used to unmonitored minors all the time. I think the staff is great, the gym is clean, and decent. But, you really have to do something about all the unaccompanied minors in the gym. Today at least a third of the people in the gym were under 16 and apparently all there without adult supervision.

Current member of Crunch Fitness at another location with supposed upgraded membership to include other clubs nationwide, turns out Burbank is exempt a special regarding this according to them, they still want $10 for a day pass.. to add insult to injury I signed up for the 3 day pass at the Burbank location before walking the mile down because I read early reviews of them being difficult, was emailed approval for a 3 day pass only to be told by the front desk that she still couldn’t allow it because there wasn’t anyone there to approve it,, Should probably consider changing your name if your not actually going to include yourself with the rest of the Crunch Fitness facility’s,, Was told there gym was special because it was cleaner and offered added services the other gyms don’t,.. again, maybe you should consider a name and affiliation change.

Gym is great… but I want to specifically praise Daniel. He’s usually the person at the front desk in the mornings and really puts his heart and soul into energizing guests as they walk in and out of the location. Daniel truly goes above and beyond what is required of him and it definitely shows to me and hundreds of other guests. Very appreciate for his presence at the gym and the relationships he builds with gym members. Hats off to you and your vibrant energy Daniel.

I never write reviews but this one takes the cake. This is a “corporate ” Crunch. If you signed up at a franchise Crunch you have to pay an extra $10. When I asked for a guest pass I was denied because of the exclusivity. This is a corporate crunch so there’s “no guest pass.” Even though you can get one online.

I called to cancel the gym and it took them a week to respond. I have been a member since 12/2021 and paid their initiation fees plus last month's membership. When the cancelation went through, they charged me an annual membership of $79. The front desk rep said it is an annual fee charged at random every year. Mine happen to be 4 days after canceling my membership. It is not refundable according to them. Be aware that fees are not transparent and you will end up paying hidden costs if you are only with them for a short time. I was considering going crunch in Santa Clarita but I will stay away from them from now on.

Burbank crunch as I was explained is a franchise that will charge you $10.00 per day if you didn't get your membership on their location. even if you have the peak plan, which supposedly includes all crunch gyms. Not a great feature for any gym when people have already paid their year to year and monthly plans. Not sure who's lying, at any rate this excludes their location from any other offers you were given anywhere else.

The Service: I The staffs at the front desk were very friendly. It was my first time visiting the gym, they were so kind to direct me to the right place. The Group Class: I found this gym through Classpass. I was taking Barre Bootcamp class this time. The instructor has good sense of humor. She really pushed & motivated us to keep going. However, I would only give the content of the class (45 minutes).... 3 stars. The upper body & ab exercise were just so-so. But the lower body workout using the barre..... OMG! Really good! I felt the burn!! The Parking: Parking structure in the building (free!) The gym is located right above Barnes & Nobles.

Very clean Gym, Great Equipment, The bathrooms are always clean! They also have a Sauna just for women in the bathroom, not just Coed Saunas like some other gyms. Really nice people. Great parking, very convenient to walk right in the gym, from parking lot distance. Love this place ❤️

This is a nice gym with nice people. My only complaint is that they play the news full time on tons of big screen TVs. It absolutely sucks to workout while being force fed stabbings, shootings, war, and political turmoil. I come to the gym to clear my mind and get away from all that stuff. I would strongly encourage gym management to put something else on: nature shows, classic Friends episodes, really anything else than the horrendous news.

I got into this gym a couple of months ago. I always wanted to be part of this gym because there was something about it that attracted me towards it. I ended up finding out why when I got there. This is not your typical gym where you go there and some have cliques, their usual banter or inconveniences, drama, uncleanliness, and the like. Crunch Fitness Burbank is amazing. People here are super friendly and down to earth. They are approachable and kind. Personal trainers and staff are good people and always treat guests and gym members with respect and fairness. There is never a day I am hesitant to go to the gym and the reason is that I am comfortable enough to show up. There is never an aura of judgement in the air inside the gym, instead it is one big community that is sincerely kind to one another and wanting to improve each and everyday. I am glad I made my decision to be part of this gym.

I was really looking forward to working out at this location. I travel for work and I wanted to join a gym that had a variety of locations throughout the U.S so I joined Crunch. As a loyal Crunch Member this was very disappointing to hear that I had to pay a $10 fee because this is considered a Corporate gym.

It’s big. Have very good group classes like Cycling, zoomba, yoga and more. Also have all kind of exercise equipments that you can train yourself or you can signup for privet trainers.

Crunch Burbank is the best gym. Why? Super clean gym, stocked restrooms (hair dryer, hair straightner, towels, Q-tips, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, & bodywash). The steam room is amazing. The gym is never overcrowded and the instructor classes are the BEST!!! So many fun options to stay fit with a wide variety of classes. My favorite is spinning class with Amanda: such a super sweet, knowledgeable, and experienced soul cyclists with excellent energy who loves what she does & it shows through her vibrant personality!!!

Apparently this is a private crunch, So if you have a “franchise membership “ you can use this place for10$. But the app shows you as a location to work out. Crunch should specify at least before suggesting locations. Nice staff tho!

Best gym for women. Very clean and lit. I love the greeters. So many great classes. Throughout the day to pick from. Jazmin is a gem!

Overcharging for nothing. The only thing that I was going for, it was the yoga classes and some fun classes. Some employees are very rude and sometimes you leave this place disappointed.

If you want to get in shape with outstanding coaches who are the best this is the place. Cross fit makes you work your whole body. Every work out is different which makes it interesting and fun.

Always clean.......4/18/22 update: water filter is dirty never seen it like that. Gym is crowded now way to many groups hanging and on phones instead of working out... 4/19/22 .... they made my friends drive over because of a 3 day pass she had sent to her via text only to tell her no she can't use it until 6 months from now. Gas is not cheap. They seem to just be giving offers and not actually following through. They also said they pro rated my first month but I dont see it ... waiting for my 2nd one to charge so I can take it to my attorney I'm sure they are over charging others as well.

Been a member here for a few years. It's had its ups and downs, but overall it's a solid gym. You can tell they are genuinely trying to improve the customer experience.

😐 As a Planet Fitness member I have a few concerns regarding their policies and overall gym experience. One major issue is their policy that customers must change their home gym if they attend a gym more than 10 times. This policy seems excessive and unnecessary, as it forces members to go through the...
