The place is really cosy, you can also eat outside on the terrace. The decorations are nice and specific to the region. The food has big portions, is really tasty and specific to the region. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. When in region, we will definitely eat here again.

I came up here for a dinner around 17:00 and was lucky to get a table for an hour because the place was fully booked. So I would definitely recommend to make a reservation before coming. The place has a great and cozy ambiance and hunt decor. I came for traditional Kässpatzen - it was great and the portion was large. For 2 euros it is possible to get a side-dish of Blaukraut. Overall, I would definitely want to come back here for a traditional Allgäuer meal.

Haven’t stayed here over night, but we went for dinner and it was amazing so we decided to also go here for lunch the next day! Great location with an amazing view, a super lovely terrace and great service. Everything is clean and beautifully decorated. The food was just perfect! Also good portions, we had to take away a lot of our main dishes.

The location alone deserves 5 stars, let alone the punctuality of its servers, cooks and remaining staff. There is a real sense of "excellence" here. After enjoying a grand meal, stand under the chestnut tree, it will transfix you. The view, die "gute luft," the old style housing and barn are reminiscent of peaceful grand days gone by...loved it indeed.

They have a really special selection of dishes with local products, everything that we taste was very good! Beer was also nice. Service was excellent! Very helpful and kind!

The Ambiance, set up and friendly staff that's why a three star. The two less stars are for waiting for an hour to get a salmon served with uncooked over salted risotto not to mention that two tables came after us and were served b4 us 🤷🏾‍♀️ I was so much looking forward to dine here but I guess 5 stars are deceiving at times

Friendly staff, excellent food, and affordable prices. It certainly is worth the effort of cycling up that hill :-) Outside the flies from the neighboring stables were annoying, but after we moved inside everything was perfect.

This is a nice, higher end Allgäuer guest house that serves both traditional local dishes as well as some not so traditional ones, like my chanterelle risotto. Good food all around, and the house brewed beer is also quite good. There's plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, and the views outside from its high vantage point are very nice, indeed.

We had lunch here and it was refreshing. Beautiful views, quick service, big portions, and it was very family friendly.

What a wonderful stay in a great location. The restaurant ist fantastic. I ordered the Kässpätzle and they have been the best I have ever had. We were lucky with sunny weather and were able to sit in the Biergarten area. I cannot imagine a better place!

The best food in Bavaria coupled with a phenomenal staff. I wish we had something like this in America, don’t miss it while you are in Germany!
