    We called in a To Go order. This was our first time at this location. The quesadilla we ordered for our son was uncooked! My husbands nachos only had three pieces of chicken, and my small salad had bad lettuce and the sweet pork was dry… which if you have had other Costa Vidas sweet pork you know that it is not supposed to be dry. I feel bad leaving a bad review, but this location is making Costa Vida look bad! 🙈🙈🙈

    Food was good, sweet pork burrito as always. The service was not very good. The male taking my order stood there staring at me not saying anything for like 5 seconds before finally asking me what I would like. I could tell it was intentional and made things awkward. The checkout girl proceeded to take FOREVER to bag up my order which was odd because there was a large line and she seemed to be taking her sweet time to do a small task. Definitely a healthier option than all the fast food around but don’t count on kind or speedy service from some employees.

    Online order took 45 minutes to fill after the order was put in. And then we asked for no pico and they smothered it in pico. Chicken taco had barely any meat in it

    We had a good experience. Got there pretty close to their closing time. We were traveling so we needed to sit down to eat. Didn't feel rushed and we were treated very well by all the employees. Food was good as usual. A+ for this Costa Vida.

    The food was good, but it was disconcerting that the manager could notlethis employee speak or answer my questions w/o interrupting or speaking over her. She was the one making my food. I found it quit rude, and later asked him aside to advise him how it looked and felt from the consumer perspective. The whelp told me he would 'take it under advisement!' No apology or even an explanation, just rude! Being a mystery shopper/advisor, this will be a negative impact on the review

    We went for dinner last week. Service was super slow since the online order take precedence over the people standing there waiting. They need to figure it out. The meat was super salty to the point that I really didn’t want it to eat it, but then I looked at the line and choked it down. Will not be going back.

    The food was excellent and the restaurant is clean. We got small salads and they didn’t put a whole lot of meat or beans on the salad. I didn’t get a whole lot of dressing either. Overall, they skimped out of the amount of food, but the food was good so there ya go.

    I truly love Costa Vida's food. It's our favorite. But I did not like this location due to service. We stopped here to pick up lunch. One thing about Costa Vidas is that they have multiple people working the order line and honestly it can get chaotic with multiple people asking you rapid fire questions. Sometimes multiple people will ask you the same question because while you answered the other person who asked...this new person didn't hear it as you get down the line. I believe it's this way for efficiency and speed and if done properly I am sure it works...however more often than not it creates a chaotic and overwhelming experience to order and pay. I put up with it because I love the food that much. At this particular location, though the girl who started our order was just flat out rude. I was ordering for myself and my daughter and as soon as she got my order she went on to the next person without asking me if I needed more. I spoke up and instead of just switching gears and starting my next order she spoke over me and asked "oh, you're not together?" with a tone that suggested that I was being rude to stop her from moving on. I tried to explain that I needed to order for my daughter...she did make my second order but girl couldn't Crack a smile or act friendly to save her life. More like I was being wildly inconvenient. She then proceeded to have an "inside joke" conversation with the manager right at the checkstand as we were paying like we weren't standing there at all. I guess this is just how the customer service industry is now and we all have to accept brusque and impatient service and being invisible bystanders as these people live as the main characters in their stories. I know they're not paid enough to like customers...I'm not expecting that...I'm simply expecting to be treated like a human being and not a necessary annoyance they have to tolerate. It's so exhausting to participate in this economy.

    We frequently travel from Salt Lake City to Boise and are in the habit of stopping at the Burley exit for fuel and food. Last week we ventured a little farther off the highway and ate at Costa Vida. The service there was excellent (unlike some Costa Vida's we have visited). The staff was efficient, (the place was busy but our trip through the line was quick), the restaurant was clean and the food was very good. Great option for travelers even if it takes a few more minutes to get to than the just-off-the-freeway joints.

    I just picked up an order and was so disappointed. There was barely a tablespoon of meat in the kids tacos, it was all tortilla. Same goes for the regular sized tacos, mostly just a tortilla. Everything tastes great and the staff was super friendly! But I’m disappointed that I spent $55 on dinner and it was mostly rice, beans, and a tortilla.

    I eat at Costa frequently. The last 3 times I’ve placed an online order it’s been wrong. Usually they make a salad without a tortilla which I never ask for. Tonight, I clearly ordered something with no beans. My online order shows no beans, but the receipt printed from the store says “black beans**” then says no beans under that. It also says no rice very clearly on my online order and rice was added. I called to talk to the manager about receiving a new salad that is correct and was told that they were too busy to allow me to speak to the manager. I love this place but this is highly disappointing. :(

    Dang this place is great!! For the uninitiated out of state traveller, its a Chipotle/Qudoba like fast casual assembly line, but much much better. Much fresher, more varied ingredients and pretty sure they make their own flour tortillas. Really enjoyed it, I’ll be on the lookout when through Idaho again

    I had door dash deliver to me. I recently ordered a sweet pork salad from Costa Vida, and I must say, I was extremely disappointed with the portion of pulled pork in the salad. There was barely any pork included, which left me feeling unsatisfied and let down. I was really looking forward to enjoying a flavorful and hearty salad, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The lack of pulled pork not only affected the taste but also left me feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. It's disheartening when you have high expectations for a dish, only to be left wanting more. I hope Costa Vida takes this feedback into consideration and improves the portion sizes and quality control for their sweet pork salad. I believe in giving constructive feedback to help businesses grow and meet customer expectations. Despite this disappointment, I still appreciate Costa Vida's overall menu and flavors. I hope my next visit will be more satisfying and that they can rectify this issue.

    I wasn’t going to write this review originally because when I called the restaurant on the date of the incident I was told I would get a refund and that did not happen. This review is a little behind because of that. I came in on December 19th to pick up an order from the app. It was a salad and a kid’s quesadilla. When I got home I started eating my salad and found a live bug in the salad. I immediately called the restaurant and the manager told me that they had looked up my order using my name and that they had refunded me the whole order because of the issue. Checking my bank I am now realizing I have never received this refund and will not be returning to this location ever.

    My first experience with this restaurant and I was not disappointed. I ordered it through Door Dash, so it was easy peasy. The chicken tortilla soup was great and surprisingly filling. A few hours later, the Enchiladas had kept well and tasted great as well. It will be nice to try them hot next time. If I had to find a gripe, it would be that they did not include any utensils or napkins, but in their defense, I did not request them either. Do plan to order again if I am back in the area.

    Was a little disappointed in the portion size, I haven't been to a Costa vida in a few years but honestly the portions were much lighter than they used to be. The service was ok, the atmosphere is a little loud for a decent conversation. But the food was good no doubt about that.

    I have never written a review in my life. But I need to tell people every time I eat at this location I get diarrhea. Too much salt too. Yes, I am a local. The other locations in Idaho do a better job.

    Horrible service today! Door dashed and had two of the orders messed up. My daughter is severely allergic to the cheese they put on her burrito. I called to get it fixed, my daughter was going to pick it up, they asked me to give them a minute and put the phone down. They just completely forgot about me! I couldn’t get them to pick the phone back up and of course I couldn’t call back after I hung up!

    We love Costa. It always tastes amazing. We have noticed that on the times they are busy they their portions run smaller than if they weren't busy. The workers are usually friendly and the restaurant is clean. If you do to go on the app at a busy time, double-check your order as well as plan for a little wait. Many times, we have gotten there, and they don't have a worker available to help with the to go orders.

    It’s ok, the food is good, but It’s a bit pricey though, and they hardly put any meat on your meal. Like other places they pack your burritos with meat and stuff here they just put a little bit of meat. Some employees seem frustrated too, I can feel the vibe and it’s just not the greatest.

    They kicked my wifes SERVICE animal out for no reason, he was quietly laying next to us. I almost called the police, they also accused us of vaping in the restaurant just because I took it out of my back pocket and placed it on the table so I wouldn't sit on it. My wife even got food poisoning, would give 0 stars if I could. Never going back, and I'm telling all my friends and family who are regulars to boycott

    Less than impressed with this location. This is the most disappointing Costa Vida location we’ve visited. It doesn’t even come close to the high quality and standards of the Boise/Meridian stores. Staff were extremely slow, forgot our utensils in our order, and despite the Covid-19 pandemic, NONE were wearing masks. The dining area was dirty with tables not being wiped and food all over the floor. We were here over 40 minutes and not once saw an employee come out to clean anything, even when there was no one in line! They were stingy on the sour cream and guac, even though we pay extra for it. Hopefully this location can get their act together and improve the quality of food and service I am used to at other Costa Vida locations.

    Food is good but service was awful! I ordered on the app, arrived at the time that I was told the food would be done but still had to wait 15 minutes more. Skip the app, everyone who came in after me and ordered in the line got their food way before me.

    Very friendly employees, however the foot was subpar. I do have to say that I’m a big believer in Cafe a Rio, and I compare my food to Cafe Rio. The steak at a Coast Vida doesn’t compare too Cafe Rio. Lots of seasoning on the steak, too much. Beef already has a great flavor, don’t hide it with too many other seasonings.

    Long wait, the tortilla soup was different from the traditional. Loved the new twist of fast Mexican food. They hand make their own tortillas so that's great. I would recommend the place but don't get the tortilla soup if you're wanting a comfort food and fulfilling but light.
