This is my favorite shop in Victoria! So many gorgeous displays of unique items at reasonable prices. If you are looking for a gift for someone and need inspiration - definitely go to Fan Tan! You will probably end up with something amazing for yourself as well. They always have a beautifully curated selection of everything for the home, as well as jewelry, clothing... Truly something for everyone.

I loved the charm and aesthetic of the old location. Sadly the new spot feels like any other up market chain kitchen store. I also have a hard time when 20-something staff ask me to wear a mask “for their protection” when our city is trying to open up. Ask Bonnie Henry - you are not in danger of anything that a mask will help with. I will wait for the fear to subside and take my business elsewhere for now.

I love the new location and set up. Super cute things for the home and also an adorable kids section with lots of jelly cats! This store has lots of the same items as “The Cross” in Vancouver, with a bit better price tag!

Wow - the customer service from this store is out of this world. I ordered a purse for myself last Christmas and within the first 4 months, the material on the straps cracked and split apart. I contacted Ila at Fan Tan & sent pictures. I got a quick response and Ila took care of everything from there. Sent me a list of different purse options to order directly from the designer, handled correspondence on behalf of me, my defective purse and my new order... and even double checked in with me over a month after I received the new one to ensure I had gotten it AND that I was happy. Thank you so much, Ila!! You really are the living embodiment of caring & exceptional customer service!! If I'm ever in Vic, I'll be sure to stop by.

I love this little store! I discovered it by accident but it is so fun to walk around and every time I always buy something. Definitely worth checking out!

My favourite downtown shop for everything 'fabulous'. The store offers a fantastic offering of products to choose from. I have found my favourite linen clothing here; wonderful gifts for clients and treats for myself. This is a must visit shop!

This is a lovely store with lots of great home goods, clothing, jewelry and other fun finds. The customer service is also superb. I purchased a snow globe that ended up not working a few days after. The store manager, Ila was quick to help me — no questions. She simply said, “I will take care of you”. She did the return over the phone (very nice of her to save me a trip to the store) and asked me to discard the broken product. She also emailed me the receipts to verify the return. I have shopped at Fan Tan Home & Style regularly over the years and never had the need to make a return, but it’s great to know you will be taken care of when you have to. Sincere thanks Ila.

Looooove this store so much! It has so many beautiful treasures, decorations and knickknacks, especially for Christmas, and lots of unique and fun gifts for every age: socks, jewellery, candles (including Frasier Fir), housewares, toys and games, decor, ornaments, teddies, kitchen textiles, and on and on. I could go broke shopping here!

I am in Calgary, and ordered some Jelly Cats for Christmas. When the post-office lost the package, Ila at Fan Tan made up for their mistake and went above and beyond. If I could give 10 stars I would!
