    This pharmacy in Surrey is one of the worst. While I usually prefer Shoppers Drug Mart for their customer service, this specific branch stands out negatively. The pharmacist on the counter exhibited rude behaviour towards people, especially toward an elderly customer. During my visit for COVID and flu vaccines, I observed her dismissive attitude, There was an elderly person and he was asking her when he could come to pick up his medicine and that pharmacist was like "I cannot help you go somewhere else". I saw that poor person standing there feeling bad and he left. It doesn't stop there. Now she is telling to her colleague "I don't know why these old people come here " I understand they are short-staffed and maybe underpaid. But if you cannot handle it, quit and find some other job. Don't take out your anger on others. Be nice to people So in my opinion, if you like being treated badly this is the perfect place for you. However, if you prefer respectful service, as the pharmacist mentioned to the senior person, go somewhere else.

    Avoid this pharmacy. They are too busy because of their location and keep using the excuse they are short of staff. When you call them, the people answering the phone are rude. If you ask for a particular person, they think you are stalking them. When you get to know the staff and prefer an efficient person who can get the job done, you should be able to ask for them rather than being interrogated. I have transferred my business to another pharmacy who respects me and likes to provide the personal touch. When pills were being refilled automatically, no one called to let you know and if you come to pickup your meds, they don't bother to check on the computer to see if other meds have been refilled and waiting for pickup. They don't give priority to regular customers who need meds immediately. They treat you like the walk-in customers.

    Avoid the cosmetic department here. I bought a perfume that was on clearance. While purchasing the perfume, I confirmed with the cashier that I am able to return it. When I went back to return it because the person I bought it for already had one, the lady (who called herself the cosmetic’s department manager) flat out says “No one has the authority except me to say something in the cosmetics department can be returned” (maybe they should put up a board for it at the cash counter that only the cosmetics department manager has the authority to confirm if something from there can be returned). So ofcourse the cosmetics department lady didn’t authorize my return. My suggestion is to avoid this store or please always consult with the cosmetics department lady about your purchases!

    I used to shop at this store often but no longer go there, even when this means more driving for me I am a senior and always go the full service counter to buy stuff. I had already been told they no longer give out bags, but I have my own. This time she rang up my purchases and set them on the counter, ignoring my recently washed bag. After I paid, stuff was still on counter. I looked at her and she indicated I should fill the bag. The clerk was an older woman 50ish, south Asian maybe? looked like owner. Seriously, I am not going back. No service at all, just wanted the money.

    Bought mascara at beauty counter on Families save 20% day yesterday. Had an allergic reaction and returned today. Wanted to be exchange it and asked the 29% to be applied. A flat out “ can’t do it” from the cosmetic lady. Didn’t even ask if my eyes were okay. Asked me if I’m over 55, which I am. Suggested I come back tomorrow to get my discount. Wow, talking about poor customer service. Will never buy anything at that cosmetics counter again if she works there

    I love this Shoppers I’ve been going there for years. I have loved the staff it’s like they’re my friends they know me by name and we can talk all the time, But lately something has changed. The staff I’m used to seeing I’m not seeing. And the pharmacy really needs some more staff in it. Those people are overwhelmed with people wanting their prescriptions. And it’s not their fault that the help isn’t there for them. I needed an antibiotic because I was in pain. It was given to them by my doctor at 11 o’clock in the morning I went there at 4:00pm and it wasn’t filled and I was told I could come back at 6:00pm, Excuse Me!? I was in pain, I wanted my antibiotic when I went there, I had just gotten off at work. My husband left at 10 after six to go pick it up for me, I called them to let them know he was on his way. I was on hold for 10 minutes. Thankfully my husband went back to pick it up for me. Wendy Stratuliak

    This is most silly pharmacy I ever been. I gave them my insurance information which other place could process and they can not. They told me they have the vaccine I need but have to wait an hour for injection. I have been back after 1 hour, they told me the one they had expired. That’s totally waste my whole morning that I still have to go work later!! Please be more professional!

    I love all the staff don’t get me wrong but the amount of times I go there on way to work at opening and there’s no pharmacist yet is starting to become a joke … twice this week!

Rola, the owner and Gagan, the manager lack compassion, professional customer service and act as if you are an inconvenience. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt to rectify this issue but they gave me rude lip service.

    I’d give this place no stars if possible! The pharmacist is lazy, and was not willing to help find a cold sore medication for my daughter. He Just very rudely told me they didn’t have anything for kids, it has to run its course. I said ok would the adult one be ok at a lower dose etc? He just repeated his previous statement. I then told him I understand that but am asking about the adult ones. Again just repeating the same thing. I told him never mind I’ll figure it out myself. After reading the fine print for 4 different ointments, I found one that was for 3 years and older. So I walked over to him to let him know there was one that is safe for 3+… he responded the same sentence for the 4th time. I then showed him the box and said it’s written right here… his response then became well that’s not for cold sores. I then pointed to the front of the box where it states for cold sores! He told me no it’s not for cold sores!!! At this point it was like arguing with a toddler…so I just said the packaging must be wrong and he said yes it’s wrong! How is this poor excuse for a human being In charge of our medications?!? I will not be getting any of my rx’s filled here in the future. By far the worst shoppers out there!
