I would give 0 star if I could. The staff(Jeff) is racist and anti-Asian. I had horrible experiences in this place and I never ever want to come back. I was so exited to stay there first because all the pictures look amazing on google maps, and there are many good reviews. However, I ended up having a heartbroken time. In the breakfast time, Jeff told me "You don't speak English" and took my breakfast menu away while telling me "You can't read English". He also laughed at me just right after I told him I am not from Canada.(because he asked me where i am from) I was very ashamed he did that on front of all the visitors. All customers besides me were Caucasians, they were just looking at me and whispering with their friends. I seriously don't understand how he can be such a racist if he has an Asian wife. He also said that I kicked out a visitor who was using his laptop in the share spaces because he does not wants visitors to use any devises in the share spaces. Basically, we are not allow to use your phone, laptop, ipad etc. Avoid this place!!!

Lovely Victoria house . All the staff was really friendly and make you feel home. We stay in the Iris room. Luxury and confort. The little gem of this room is the roof top balcony to enjoy sunny afternoon. Breakfast was amazing and different each morning. The portion was generous and come in two services. Near by the government House , you can enjoy great walk in this architectural part this city. Only 20 min walk from beach or downtown. Parking available on site or on street for free. Will definitely come back !!!

Comfortable Victorian Victoria! Liked · This was a delightful stay in a comfortable old house. Very quiet, and easy access to downtown and Government House. Well-appointed room and bathroom, very comfortable bed and seating areas. The lounge was large and comfortable as well. Henry served up two spectacular breakfasts - notably different each day. You're away from the noise and hustle of the downtown area, and a wonderful neighbourhood to explore on foot, gawking at the gorgeous homes.

It was simply AMAZING! One of the best places I have ever stayed! It was unique setting and experience in the old manor style which we loved! It’s beautiful and exquisite. Beautifully decorated, luxurious and classy. We were in awe at it all! Jeff the owner, was an amazing host, very warm, welcoming, friendly manner and went over the top with excellent customer service. Making sure we got everything we needed and one day I wasn’t feeling especially well and he made sure to bring up the food so I could sit on our personal patio instead of the dinning room with others, and customized the breakfast for food sensitivities. Very impressed indeed! The food was delicious 😋, An in house chef each morning cooked up sautéed veggies, potatoes, eggs, ham. Definitely not your continental breakfast! Thank you Jeff for the warm hospitality, and the beautiful surroundings! We will be back! ‘The princess in her room’ ;)

Stayed in the Lilac Room with beautiful en-suite. Second visit was in one of the basement suites which is equally as luxurious.

Just know if you book a non-refundable fee, they will truly not refund for anything, even an emergency medical issue that required a trip to the ER a few days before that prevented us from traveling to Victoria. I notified the hotel a week beforehand that we were in the emergency room and could no longer travel (even had a doctor note confirming all of this) and they would not cancel. They said the issue was that we booked through a 3rd party site but abbeymore did confirm that they received the payment so I’m not sure why the 3rd party is relevant. All the other “non-refundable” plans we made for the weekend with other companies were accommodated and the companies refunded us or let us transfer the payment as a credit to another date, but not here.

Great B&B centrally located in Victoria. Our hosts very so warm and kind and made delicious breakfast every morning. The B&B is located in an antique British house and has a beautiful interior with a nice terrace.

Spent three wonderful nights in September at Abbeymoore. The location was phenomenal. We enjoyed walking to the Lt. Governors mansion with the most beautiful grounds, Craigdarroch Castle, and the Rockland neighborhood. The drive into town was close and simple. Drive to Butchard Gardens was also easy. It was lovely to sit on the veranda for the most amazing breakfast meals and relax and enjoy our morning coffee. Thank you all at Abbeymoore!

Jeff and his staff made Abbeymoore Manor a great place to stay while we were in Victoria. Our suite was very clean and comfortable. Our breakfasts in the morning were amazing - usually 2 courses with the 1st course having fresh fruit and something else (perhaps granola and yogurt) and the 2nd course usually being a hot savory breakfast dish. My family was delighted to see hummingbirds on the grounds in December. We also got to see a number of deer in the area. Next time I need a place to stay in Victoria, I will be going back to Abbeymoore Manor B&B.

The Treetop suite was fantastic! Breakfasts were the best, freshest ingredients. The staff were friendly and Jeff was most entertaining! Centrally located so all the beaches were easy to get to.

My wife and I recently got a chance to stay at Abbeymoore Manor and its quiet location was the perfect place to relax. The property is set in a quiet neighborhood with relatively easy walking access to downtown (about 1 mile), a shopping center with a grocery, access to a beachfront and Craigdarrogh Castle. The staff were extremely helpful, especially the owner Jeff who was will to lend us a car when a small emergency came up. We stayed in one of the garden suites on the bottom level which was really well appointed, and would have been great if we would have wanted to make our own meals. The room also featured an amazing bathtub which was perfect for a good soak. The only downside was that since the room was on the lowest level it tended to be humid, but the staff had thoughtfully left a fan to help circulate the air. The breakfast were delicious and creative. Each meal started with a sweet course (yogurt parfait, waffles) often garnished with seasonal berries followed by a savory main course (fried egg, chicken & mac & cheese; eggs benedict; fried egg on top of hash potatoes). The Abbeymoore is cozy and comfortable with a great deal of charm.

Just stayed at Abbeymoore Manor in Victoria. We had a delightful stay. Not only are the garden be rooms charming, the staff was lovely. Jeff and his crew went above and beyond what they needed to to make our stay wonderful. I had many pleasant conversations with them. I broke my wrist while hiking and they took such good care of me when I returned from the hospital, bringing me blankets when they worried I might be cold. I will definitely be returning.

Room in bottom area of house was cold...there was a portable heater but took a while to warm up room, as the old steam heaters were not up to the task. Otherwise breakfast was delicious and quiet place to sleep.

Has a great time chatting with Jeff during our first stay - he's an excellent host. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. Garden suite was dog friendly. Have now visited twice, this time staying in the Master bedroom without doggo. Will likely continue stopping by. Neighbourhood is charming and quiet.
