Ordered 5pc chicken rice bowl and fries. The chicken is tender and juicy, the tartar sauce is amazing. Fries are good, the seasoning is on point and the portion is great. The chicken is a must try, it’s crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Definitely would recommend anyone who loves Japaneses karage! Oh and if you need wifi, please ask the staff and you’ll get a qrcode to scan! No password needed!

Great food! We came after attending the bunny cafe. The fried chicken was delicious and juicy with a pretty decent portion. Not a big fan of the sauces that came with the chicken though. We also got the rice bowl with beef. This was the highlight of dinner. It was the best dish on the table. I’d go back for this dish alone. Overall, I’d recommend this restaurant though the table we got was quite small.

Visiting from Seattle, I had an amazing dinner with my friend & partner who were locals. The chicken was incredible, so juicy & crunchy. I will be back when I visit again. We enjoyed the Signature Mogu Fried Chicken, Chicken Katsu Japanese Curry, and the Mogu Salad. Do yourself a favor and go there!

I ordered via delivery. This is my first time trying food from this restaurant. I'm absolutely impressed with their fried chicken. Crispy on the outside and very juicy inside with really good flavour throughout. The fries are good except they weren't very crispy. They also have dark Japanese lager and it's delicious! I'll definitely order again.

Once you had it, there is no way you feel good in KFC, Church chicken. Every bite of chicken is simply crispy outside and very juicy inside. I also enjoy their Mogu honey lemon and it foodpaired with the chicken so well.

This place is nested in the heart of commercial drive. Parking can be a bit hard to find on a weekend. The space itself doesn't have a lot of seating, but it really gives off a “cozy” kinda vibe. We didn’t make reservations before coming in, but we only had to wait 15 minutes on a Friday night which is not bad at all. I initially was thinking of getting the individual chicken with some appies, but my friend said the Teishoku is their speciality, so of course, I had to try it. It’s basically a full meal, you get to pick the amount of chicken you want (3, 5, or 7 piece), and it comes with miso soup, rice, a side dish, and choice of salad from the salad menu. I didn’t think I was gonna be full but I was surprisingly satisfied. The chicken is super crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Also no complaints on the sides, they all tasted great with lots of flavour. Good portion, great price. Will 100% be coming back.

The "mini" fried chicken... so much chicken and so good!!!!!!! If you visit Commercial Drive you must go here. The food is amazing and affordable. The staff are friendly and the inside is very cutely decorated with a cabana style seating area.
