The room was basic, clean and comfortable with a comfortable bed. The dinner we had there was great- prime rib night was excellent. The breakfast in the dining room was good and plentiful but I would skip the continental breakfast and go somewhere else. It was $15.00 a person for basically some fruit and two pieces of toast. One thing that made me realize making money was the focus was as we were leaving we bought a loaf of their delicious sour dough bread. When we asked to have it sliced they said it would be an extra charge. I mean really! We had stayed there two nights.

Arrived to chickens, roosters, sheep and ducks on the road that we had to wait for and eventually drive around. Oliver the cat greeted us as we went up to the door. Very friendly staff and an excellent wait server experience. Three of the drinks were good but too much ice in all of them. The fourth drink, a margarita, was undrinkable and a disappointment, an alternative was offered and it was taken off the bill Three of us had prime rib, I requested mine well done and sliced thinly and my request was granted. Best roast beef I have ever had. Shop was well stocked with an interesting selection of product. I will return to the shop and for further special dinners

We had a wonderful Easter meal with family. The place is a perfect feeling of farmhouse, and cozy, modern, and warm interior. I felt like Disney had done it real, with real animals outside, and really good vegetables cooked perfectly. The fixed meal was flawless, and delicious. I don't really like vegetables, Farm Table Inn changed my mind. We left through the shop as Disney would do.This is the real thing, please try it.

We've never stayed at a farm before but thought it would be fun to try this time around. Thanks to Evelyn and her excellent staff, we'll do it again. We were promptly greeted for check-in and showed our room. It was modest, but clean and the beds comfortable. The weather wasn't overly warm but we still enjoyed bundling up outside on our private deck for a glass or two of wine and some cards (supplied along with other games). We had dinner here the first night and were very impressed. Our server was fantastic and up there with some we've had at fine dining restaurants in Seattle to San Francisco as well as London and Paris. The portions are ample, brilliantly prepared and we loved that they have a lot of local wines from the island. We paid for the breakfast and Evelyn's kitchen doesn't skimp out at all. There's fresh fruit, bread, enormous eggs, bacon, farm fresh potatoes... I'm getting hungry. If you're looking for something unique, friendly and with five-star dining.... book it. (We also enjoyed meeting Leroy the dog, Oliver the cat, Thelma and Louise the singing sheep, ball teams of chickens and the true boss of the house "Big Red".) A very memorable stay and our thanks to everyone there.

Just had the best Shepherd's Pie ever here! Also bought delicious smoked ham and other goodies still in our freezer. Will definitely plan ahead and book a table for dinner when we're next in the Cowichan valley.

Our visit to Farm Table Inn was an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we drove onto the property and were greeted by charming farm animals, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. We were served by the delightful Sarah, whose attentiveness made our evening even more enjoyable. Starting with a heavenly sourdough dip paired with strawberry basil butter and lemon hummus, our taste buds were dancing with delight. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire pudding, and a medley of well-seasoned veggies. The farm-to-table concept truly shines at Farm Table Inn, and we highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone in the Lake Cowichan area or those seeking a memorable culinary excursion. Abraham, Lindsay, Jaden, and I left with smiles on our faces and hearts full of satisfaction. We can’t wait to return and indulge in their delicious offerings again! ❀️

Service was exceptional. Food was divine. Ambiance was wonderful. Most definitely will be back. Only wish they had some dairy free options for dessert as I am ellergic to dairy. Other than that it was perfect. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Thank u, my friend made the reervation. Next time. I will make it myself. ❀️

Amazing. Simply wonderful. Definetly on the top ten meals I have had in my life. Generous portions, everything was flavored and seasoned beautifully. The Farm Table Inn is in a quiet serene forest setting where you drive past free range ducks and chickens to get to the cozy Inn. Inside it is warm and inviting, lots of hanging lights upon rustic wooden atmosphere. Our server Jess was wonderful and a joy throughout the night. An absolute MUST at least once in your life.

On short notice, Evelyn and George provided our sixty guests with a superb delicious culinary experience. Their service was friendly, professional and comprehensive in every way. Their fabulous food was the feature of our family reunion. Don’t hesitate, hire these folks for your event, you will never regret it.

Such a beautiful little place, loved the visits from the farm animals too, especially a sweet orange kitty. The food was beautifully presented. My favourite was the lemon hummus with the sourdough.

Thank you for a wonderful dinning experience. We had family in from out of province and we brought them to your restaurant and we spent the rest of our time together talking about how great our time there was. We had previously only used the store front and the booth at the Duncan market. We will be sure to be back again before you sell. Thank you for making our experience so pleasant.

The prime rib was not as good as others I've had. The service was excellent ! I will try something else next time if we come back . The atmosphere is nice .

They warned us when we booked that it is a slow dining experience. It was 2.5 hours start to finish but since we were expecting it, we just relaxed and enjoyed the slower pace. The patio is charming and the service was very attentive. We both really enjoyed the prime rib. Would love to return next time we are in town!

Beautiful restaurant with great service. The food was good but, the Yorkshire pudding that came with the prime rib tasted burnt. My dining companions all seemed happy with their meals but others did comment on the Yorkshire pudding as well. Prices are high, but the service and attention we had from the servers was excellent. If you love a good Caesar I can highly recommend the double Caesar here at the inn. Delicious!

This one has been on my list for a while... glad it finally came to be! We took part in their Thanksgiving dinner, which was an amazing experience. First off... the venue. You're not going to find this place by accident. It is a destination, and worth the drive. You are literally guests in the hosts home, and it feels that way! Very comfortable & welcoming, with excellent staff that are very friendly. Our server, Meagan, was wonderful, delivering an excellent dining experience. The food here is all curated from local farms and producers, much of it from their own farm! Our party was very pleased with all of our dishes, putting an upscale restaurant touch on what felt like a home cooked meal. Full recommendation here... we will be back! Make the trip... you won't regret it. Reservations are recommended.

We LOVE The Farm Table Inn! This was only our second visit but it will not be our last. The food is out of this world, meticulously prepared and made with love. Our server Jess was extremely personable, passionate and respectful. There’s nothing that compares to this restaurant but if I had to, I would say The Keg but a million times better actually it doesn’t even compare. Such a unique dinning experience in a beautiful setting. Thank you

The food and service was absolutely fantastic! It was worth the drive from Mill Bay. We had the charcuterie board and bacon wrapped scallops for our starters and loved it all. Our main courses were just as good! We had 2 vegetable tagliatelles, 8oz steak and the pork tomahawk. We will definitely be coming back!

Very good food and service. It was our anniversary and the chef/owner came out to see us, turns out we know him. All food was from the farm or sourced locally. Very impressed and will return.
