The people are nice The food is only okay The service is terrible! I got my beers almost warm and when I asked my server, she said it’s because of the heat and their cooling system doesn’t work properly! I ordered a medium rare stake and it was bloody rare! I told them about it and they didn’t even care!! I basically didn’t touch my stake. :( None came to us asking if we need anything even did not bring us water. I didn’t receive even an apology and this is not a good customer service. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this place at all

A great venue that feels like what a “public house” from the past should be. Table games, pool, darts, cozy corners, quiet areas, louder areas; it’s huge. The service was friendly but we were tucked away in an awkward corner so it was hard to catch a glimpse of the server. Cat is known for their cheap wings. $6 for 10 juicy and plump wings during happy hour and $5 for 10 on Wednesdays (have to get a drink with it though). The best wings deal in town, hands down. However, the other food seems to be lacking in… cohesiveness. Many may argue that there is no greater sacred paring than that between the party and the bun. And yet the bun on the smash burger seems to be an afterthought. The honey mustard sauce for the wings also felt… rushed. My Cat’s Club chicken breast came out cool to the touch. I removed the middle slice of bread (because I forgot to ask for a 2-slice club) and noticed it was grilled but possibly stored and heated after the fact. On the other hand one might say a clubhouse SHOULD be served cold. I thought it tasted fine but the fries had an off flavor. Can’t describe it. I definitely think the wings are worth coming again for, and for large groups looking for a good space to wind down. Tons of parking but the entrance is not well marked, especially at night and if you follow Google’s directions. Just follow the smell and you’ll be alright.

We have enjoyed coming to the Cat & Fiddle in the past. Taco Tuesday’s are the best! This was our first time coming for lunch and we were extremely disappointed. It took us a long time for someone to acknowledge us when we came to the door. 3 waitresses came by and said someone will be by to help you shortly. It was about 20 minutes until we were actually seated. Our drinks came quickly and we ordered right away. Our food didn’t come for 40 minutes and all of our meals were cold. The Eggs Benedict was cold, small and very dry. We returned it and ordered a burger. We also asked for jam for our toast and after asking our waitress 2 x and waiting for about 15 minutes for the jam and burger we went inside and were told that they didn’t even start making the burger yet. We cancelled it and let the server know we were not happy. Not sure what happened today. They may have been short staffed, had a new chef or there was no management working but we hope that no one else experienced such awful service.

Great food, service not to greatest. We had a Teriyaki chicken rice bowl, Mac and cheese and a Carnivores Glory pizza. Edit: 2 months later we came again and service was great, food was great as well, Blackened Chicken Dinner, Cat's Club and Jambalaya. 5 stars now, thanks. Edit: 3 months later, group of 12, not one of us had anything to complain about, just a completely positive experience. Our waitress was awesome, great work guys and gals.

I'm only giving this place a 3 because the men's bathroom was extremely repugnant! Please do something! The smell was an overkill. The stench follows you even after coming outside. Also put a partition between the urinals. Respectful for the older generation. On the plus side, the ambience is rock on! I like how the motorbikes line up in the parkway. The wings are very tasty too!!! I'll definitely visit this place again.

Honestly, I used to like it here. But man, has this place gone down hill. See pictures of the sad avocado that was served with my salad. Who in their right mind would serve brown and bad avocado? Gross… Common, Cat & Fiddle, you can do better. MUCH better! Oct 7. Editing to reply to C&F response: I had take out, so notifying a server wasn’t practical since I wasn’t at the restaurant at time of opening the box my meal came in. Your chefs need to be more diligent in making sure the food is edible. Or should every person who gets take out inspect their food before leaving the restaurant premises?

I liked the atmosphere, Wings are good and I recommend Blue cheese dressing. Other dishes are fine. Staff are kind, although we had some confusion with seating area and they moved us couple of times which was not fun. Convenient parking is available. Couple of pools available.

We had the 0.50 cent wings and they were DELICIOUS! Waiters were on point with service too! Such a great experience! Definitely will be back! Update: Tonight I participated in a TCMG Fundraiser here and I had a Chicken Burger with Swiss cheese and Mushrooms. It was soo yummy! Didn't care for the fries though as they left a horrible after taste after each bite. The service was great as per usual and we all really enjoyed ourselves 🤗

I’ve been here numerous time and I can say that I’ve never been disappointed with the food as it’s been always good. But this evening, Omar, the guy with curly hair made our experience extra special because of his excellent customer service skill. We felt delighted being served by him. I am a very observant person and I noticed his enthusiasm while giving service even to the customers sat near our table. He managed to look-after with the customers needs considering that it was a busy Wednesday evening (constantly checking with smile on his face). This restaurant needs more guy like him.

Great service, probably the nicer places to visit the people are very friendly and welcoming. The food is great as well. The wings on Wednesday deal is unbeatable for the quality they offer. 50 cent per wing (you heard me right). Lager was also nice, and they got pool tables, though it was busy when I went twice. Will 100% come again to play someday lol.

Great neighborhood pub atmosphere. Has a restaurant side which you can bring kids. Gets busy on certain nights (wed wing night especially) . Wonderful daily specials at very reasonable prices. Would recommend the lasagna, steak sandwich (on Friday night special) and their burgers. Good selection of craft beer (max price is somewhere around $8) . Disappointing cocktails, tried a long island iced tea and a rose sangria and I would definitely not get them again. Stick with beer (good selection). Will continue to return !

Went in this morning. We ordered the pizza and wings (with the groupon), the food was average. However, they charged us extra for sauce that was clearly advertised with the wings. I politely asked the waitress to remove the charge that wasn't advertised on the menu and she rudely declined and began arguing with me. Even when I was pulling up the groupon on my cell phone and she grabbed the phone out of my hand... is covid a foreign language at this place? Manners definitely is. The manager came over to the table and started yelling at us. She even told us that we were lying about being a returning customer because we would know the prices. She then went on to shame me for using groupon. Definitely the rudest and unprofessional manager I've ever spoken too. She even began laughing when I addressed my issue with the menu and service. She should probably learn to take her restaurant seriously if they want returning customers. Ashamed to have even support and tip this business in the past. The manager has a snarky response for everything and I'm sure she'll have one for this review as well. *IN RESPONSE TO THE REPLY* First off, I never told the server she didn't know what she was doing. I simply asked her to remove the charge from the bill and she started raising her voice. Secondly, I originally ordered the Caribean Shrimp and than our server told us afterwards "All of them are valid with the groupon except the Caribean and Shrimp" so than we ordered the Sweet and Spicy as she said that one is okay for the groupon so don't try and make it seem like you're "trying to make the customers happy" because we know that is far from the truth. Manager needs to learn to keep her mouth shut. She shouldn't have screamed at me while I was at the table. My other reviews have nothing to do with extra charges. Maybe get your eyes checked. Once your eye sight is improved you can see how bad Cat and Fiddle is run.

Had a chance to come here with friends on a week day night. It has a separate family side that you can enjoy your night as family. Cicillian Pizza and waffle fries were so tasty. Don't miss out their wings! On Wednesday's you can enjoy the 50 cents deal!!! Staff were so friendly and accessible!

Order the Jambalaya and it didnt came with rice. Wings are cheap and good. Other foods were just basic and nothing to write home about. The heaters outside wasnt on when we ate there and it was so cold. We asked multiple times as well. Also, rats roam arouns the outside area. My Fiance was not happy about that. Reply to the reply: I dont know about you but the Jambalaya Ive eaten before consists of a fair amount of rice. The heaters were definitely not on outside. We would see it and feel it if it was. Im just stating my experience and this is what Ive experience going here for 2-3 times within a month

This is one of the few places that didn't hike their prices up after the pandemic. The wings are still as cheap and tasty as ever. It's a great place, beers cold and foods great. But it's the service that always sets this place above. We have never had a bad time, and most recently we had the most amazing experience with Swan, she has served us twice and has remembered bit of an information about us and is so engaging, supportive and all around wonderful!!! She is honestly on of the best servers we have ever had, she's attentive but not intrusive, and she's one her game! Thanks for a great experience Swan, and for being a hardcore cheerleader!

It’s great for a once-in-a-while family dinner or to watch a Hockey or Soccer game. The food was ok. What I really like about this place is the DJ, he takes song requests so if you want to dance to a song in your language! He’ll do so!

Overall, a nice older building, they`re adding a craft brewery ( was tasty ), big bonus, very nice wings tried 3 types. Could have been a 4 if the pizza wasn`t under cooked. We read several reviews before coming . You don`t ask for the pizza to be `well done`, it should be cooked right the 1st time. Very doughy tasting, that`s under cooked . Nice topping and arrangement. Check the oven .

Stopped in for a quick snack and a beer. Rochelle was right there to take our order. The next table had a few to many people and we’re crowding us. Not 6 feet apart. She very politely handled the situation, got them 2 tables, with a smile on her face the whole time. Food was great and all was great. Cheers to our amazing servers.

Cozy and friendly Mexican place with great Nachos and Enchiladas. Short walk to Rocky Point ice cream for dessert. But try the Churros first time here, ice cream next.

Went to visit on the weekend. There was a chair behind the door to not let it open. Seemed like a private party. No signs or anything as if you can buy food for take out or anything. Called them twice, no one picked up. Don’t suggest visiting to friends. Later they claimed that the door was broken (!) and they comply with no party orders. I don’t understand how they expected to get customers with a chair holding the door shut. Wasted gas to go to this place and they didn’t even offer to make it up to me.

Went here with my family on a day when the steak sandwich was only 10 bucks so I tried it. Definitely didn’t regret it, topped with blue cheese and a bbq sauce and WOW! Had a couple alcoholic beverages and a chocolate cake. Over all a great place to have a great night. Will return

Great food, good drinks, terrible service. Me & my girlfriend went on a quiet Tuesday night. Not many people, three waitresses & the bartender were on staff. None of the waitress came up to our table. I had to ask the bartender for food, he sent over a waitress who took her sweet time to serve us. She had an attitude and never came back to us to ask us if we needed more drinks, food, if it was good, etc. New customers came in and she happily/quickly served them yet ignored us. Great food here but terrible service. Be careful, waitresses’ name is “Lish L” on the receipt.

I've been a regular here for many years, it's my favorite place. The food has always been great, amazing wings and their daily specials are so good. The atmosphere is perfect in summer; they have 3 massive, covered patio areas so you can enjoy your drink and the sun and summery breeze at the same time. It's so relaxing! I'd have to say over the last couple years I have noticed service is really lacking though. The waitresses are all really nice but it's pretty common that I sit for 15 to 25 minutes before being approached by anyone and even offered a menu. I'll see waitresses entering my area, taking orders or bringing drinks and I will make sure to make eye contact with them to let them know I'm looking for service. They commonly just leave the area, even after making eye contact with me, without coming to my table. Today I got here at 5pm. It took to 5:50 to have food in front of me. It's a Thursday. :/

We decided to have dinner here for Father's day since my kids been craving for wings and nachos and not far from home. Let's start with their menu, it's very sticky aand gross. I ordered the white sangria and it didn't taste anything like a Sangria, it was water down. We ordered the fish and chips, nachos, calamari and 3 orders of wings. I am very disappointed with their food. It took 35 minutes to get our food, which is understandable they we're busy. But when we got our food, my fries, calamari and nachos were cold. If I'm paying for that much on food, I expect it to be warm at least. I complained to the waitress and she gave us fresh fries and nachos. Sorry this place went downhill. I've been here before and today was just horrible.

55¢ Wednesday Wings Night!!!! Late night wing night, could never go wrong with Cat and Fiddle Wings and they are so good that sometimes they run out of wings. You don’t have to go on Wednesdays you can do Monday to Friday Happy Hour from 2-5:30pm.

I was there earlier today with my 8yr old son and my husband. We had Mussels and couple pizzas along with some drinks. Unfortunately I don't remember server name but she had curly long hair. After dropping food on table the second time she come around she said can I get you guys TO GO BOXES. I was like sure, thankyou. My son was like but mom we are still eating !! When she came back with boxes. My husband asked for another round of shot and beer. She only gave him shot and no beer and she said CAN I GET YOU GUYS THE BILL ? we were just looking at each other that what just happened?? We all FELT SO RUSHED and its not a good feeling at all. We all left very upsetting.

My bf and I go here all the time, I'd say once a week. The servers are all so friendly, same with all the other staff we've met. I love the menu, it's a big menu and doesn't come off like a chain restaurant with the same items. The four is always great when we order and so is the service, even when it's busy! Also, really great drink and good specials all week including weekends!

By far the best actual pub for miles. Hard to get a good pub atmosphere anywhere in the lower mainland these days but this place does a good job. Staff were super nice, the menu is huge and the food quality is pretty good!

Good Gluten free options. Good atmosphere. Good service. Good parking. Everything was good! Some of the clientele were a bit inebriated and loud but that is part of the draw! We will definitely go back. 👍

Average experience. Food is good, servers are slow and check in Infrequently. Today, sunny day, deck is closed and they gave the ‘shrug shoulders’ as an answer to the question “oh... why is it closed?” Also, they “accidentally” “threw away” the happy hour menus. So they have to remember the menu and recite it to you, if you think to ask. Hit or miss really. If wasn’t for the food, wouldn’t return.

Good wings especially during Mondays and Wednesdays which they're on special for 30 cents a piece (Minimum 1 lb plus a drink). Been coming here for almost 3 years now. If there's something I hoped could be better, it's the speed of service. Sometimes it takes a while, sometimes they get to you quick.

Had wings and they were okay but my god the servers look dead inside. They all look like they don't want to be there. I saw the blonde manager on the bigger side and saw her interact with a few customers and was so rude towards them. Although the food was okay, I won't be returning as I prefer to take my business to restaurants who strive to give the customer the best experience. Not to staff and management whom are simply there to get a wage and leave. Reading some of the responses to disappointed customers on here is not surprising behavior from the manager after dining in.

I've been twice now and the food has been INCREDIBLE! Servers are attentive and explain the dishes very well. I can't wait to go back again! Margaritas are superb!

Very charming little place with a wonderful selection of coffees, cocktails, lunch, dinner & desserts. The coffee was really delicious, perfectly brewed and exquisite aroma. The food is wholesome, home cooked style Mexican. The salsa was so good, I was just eating it by the spoonful. Fresh and bold flavours and super soft fresh tortillas. The meat was a little too chewy for my liking, but other than that I really enjoyed the meal and will come back again for sure.

What a lovely find! A cute little yellow house, so warm and friendly. They make a great Mexican-style coffee. All the food I had a bold and flavour forward. Highly recommended. Next time I'm trying their brunch.

The best Mexican restaurant in BC! The chilaquiles were simply awesome, the sauce that they use is spicy and very tasty, this is my favorite dish in the menu. I also loved the horchata latte, its a sweet combination that blew my mind. The service is very friendly and the place is cozy and very well decorated. I loved the day of the dead altar. This restaurant is great for Brunch! I will definitely come back to this wonderful place!

The food quality and flavour at this restaurant is excellent and the prices are mid range. If you planning on eating here during COVID be awry there is limited seating inside. There is basically two tables with a possibility of 8 people. So most likely you will be eating outside in which case check the weather and time of day. The light at night outside is very poor and Clarke road is always somewhat busy too. I would serious recommend the enchiladas but everything here is excellent. Also note that the spice level truly is Mexican so hot is actually HOT.

The restaurant is a yellow house with very cute decoration, and we had a great time with the waitress we had. She's extemely welcoming, passionate and nice. We took the patio seats, she kept come out to check on us even thought she was very busy with the tables inside. The food is to die for. It's very difficult for me to find authentic Mexico food in Vancouver and finally found one! We were too full to have the churros so asked for take out...but we almost finished the churros at the spot because they were SO DELICIOUS. Please make sure to order churros (best ones I've ever had) when visit. Will go back for sure!

Had a retirement party here (before Covid) and the location was absolutely perfect. They catered to the needs of our group really well and we had a fantastic time, not to mention the delicious food.

I had the dinner size enchiladas with steak and fish. Compliments to the chef, best tasting enchiladas I had in a long time. Steak goes really well with the sauce, would recommend that.

Very impressed at their large patio! Great food service. The servers were genuinely friendly and not in your face just to get good tip. I've only been here twice and haven't had any bad experience. The food was great! We got a coupon from Groupon and I thought that was a really good deal! 21$for 2 large pizza and 1lb wings. Another thing I like about this place is that it has a brewery just right beside, so we were able to get some craft beer.

Amazing experience! The place is huge (everything clean including the washroom), very nice environment, amazing staff and delicious food! They have lots of beers and drinks and always try to accommodate the best for the customers. They also have delicious veggie and vegan options! Swan received us and helped us during our lunch, she was amazing! Always paying attention if we needed anything, she recommended great options and she was super friendly, made us feel at home even if it was the first time there. I'm already looking forward to coming back soon.

We are their regular but I never had a chance to sit and write a review for them. Tonight we had a great experience, even better than usual. There was power outage were we live and that’s why we went to the pub to spend time till the power is back. We were there till late and they let us sit in the patio even though they were closing it just because of our puppy, very sweet of them. I specially want to thank Katie for serving us so nicely, she even asked me if I need to charge my cellphone over there, thank you guys so much!

Cost me 12 dollars and change for 11 wings (got one for free) and a Caesar (drink). Drink wasn't fancy but tasted delicious. Definitely recommend if you like wings and Caesars. Will go back.

I visited Cat & Fiddle, and I have to say, I was blown away! The first thing that caught my attention was the impressive selection of beers. They had a great mix of local and international brews, and I was impressed by the knowledgeable staff who were able to offer recommendations based on my preferences. But the real star of the show was the wings. Oh my goodness, were they delicious! They were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the sauce was the perfect combination of tangy and spicy. I could have eaten a whole bucket of them! But it wasn't just the food and drink that made this place stand out. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some good company. Overall, I highly recommend Cat & Fiddle to anyone looking for great beer and wings in a laid-back setting. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!

Always a good time here. Pints are around 6 dollars and wings are around 50 cents per. The wings themselves are quite large - three men barely finished 60 wings with a couple pints of beer. No particular strong flavour - all are them are generally okay.

Very delicious pizza, hot wings and house beer served pretty quick for a very fair price. Live DJ was good. The last few times we went, the house lager wasn't quite as cold as it has been, lost some carbonation and no condensation on the glass. Still tasty and fair priced, no worth kicking a star, but hopefully they can get it chilled and carbonated a bit more.

I think it should be a Michelin recommended pub, cause lots of ppl travel to port Coquitlam for this place! The wings were perfectly marinated in the hot blue-cheese sauce, the beer was freshly made there , and the atmosphere was fun and vibrant I highly recommend the Wings Parking was available

It’s a great little pub. It has a family section to so you can bring the kids for wing night. Daily wing special ($0.50/wing) from 230p-530p and all day on Wednesday. Wings and flavours are delicious. Rustic style inside. Patio is spacious. Ample parking. Service can be quiet slow at times, not just during happy hour or wing special time.

I went to The Cat and The Fiddle Bar and Restaurant recently, and it was awesome! The staff were super nice, and the food was really good. The menu had lots of tasty options, and everything was cooked and served just right. The place had a cool vibe that made it perfect for hanging out. Great pub atmosphere, servers are friendly and laidback, and DJ plays great music on the weekends. Quick and easy food, I recommend the Pulled Pork Tacos, and the drinks are great. Love going in on a Sunday with friends and for a great experience!
