Big, open field with baseball diamonds, unique kids playground, jogging track, some cool fitness equipment, fabulous washrooms, big hill with views to the northeast, and a wonderful map with important facts about the indigenous history of the area. Bonus: water fountain with a low dish to hydrate your dog. Enjoy!

A little patch of green paradise hidden in an obscure area. Lots of native grasses/plants in this area with a huge green grass field, a walking path going up the hill and a slope that is used in a steep metal slide that goes really fast (super fun!). There are a few swings and a teeny tiny small 2-5 year old playground for the littles. For older kids there are ropes and other obstacle course-type activities to go up the slope and down again via the fast slide. I like how they used the topography to their advantage and it works well. I loved how quiet and obscure it was.

I like this park and use for 3 things; Exercise stations (pull-ups & lower abs and short steep hill), dog walks and early summer tanning. The people in area are chill. Has bathrooms (usually without anyone shooting drugs in there), nice area for kids to play. See ya there.

A large park between east 7th avenue and great northern way. It consists of a large track with a running track around it. There is a big hill for sliding down, a small playground and some exercise equipment.

I love this park, I am going there often for exercising. The park has a good vibe to it due the mixed use-parents with their kids at a play area, some older kits hitting the bat at the baseball diamond, and other going for a jog, using the available outdoor sports equipment, or simply doing yoga. The perimeter running track is just over 05km. The park is located West of CLark Dr and a couple blocks North of E Broadway. If you take public transportation to get there, it's easily accessible from either bus or nearby skytrain (Clark Dr./VCC).

Big park with kids playground, baseball field etc. Nice views, easy access. Plenty of parking around the park. Very nice public restrooms at the southeast corner of the park.

Great dog park in great location. Cross training stations, and great track with lots of other paths and fantastic flight of wide, shallow stairs perfect for running. Also home to a visionary production garden which is a treasure to explore. Beautiful map of Vancouver in bygone days on side of building also well worth checking out. Shows waterways which are no longer apparent.

It’s really busy during 1pm to 6pm, and there’s is not off leash area with a fence, probably best to avoid those times if you play with your dog off leash in there 😊

Very big grassy field. Some shaded area under the tree for some cooling time. Some free parking around the park but depending on how busy it is.

This refreshment Sanctuary evolves from season to season and there's even a small bamboo forest that flows down the hill with trails in it.

China Creek North Park, nestled in the heart of Vancouver's vibrant cityscape, offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city life. This hidden gem is a favorite among locals for its lush greenery, well-maintained walking trails, and panoramic views of the city skyline. The park's layout is thoughtfully designed to accommodate both leisurely strolls and more vigorous activities, making it a versatile destination for fitness enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

This is a very nice park. Lots of activities in the field area but the playground is fairly small but a shaded area and close by skytrain and others restrooms available.

This is the new stop off point on our new walking group. We like the zig zag decline route down the hill. Many of us wish we were young enough to use the slide. There are public and handicap bathrooms at the other end of the park which makes us 😁 as well. We will see you every Tuesday morning till the end of summer.

Great place to bring the kids, the dogs, the softball team! The people that attend are really polite and friendly. Located in a convenient area with lots of parking!

Huge field, great fitness track around the field. Nice steep hill for training. Recently upgraded playground for children. View of the mountains. Trees for shade if the sun gets too hot. What else would you need from a park?

Nice park with stops with several workout stations! Pleasant views on a nice day, especially at west end of the park

The public washrooms are clean and modern, always available too. Makes it convenient if you are in the area instead for looking at some cafe, parking car etc... save you from all that hassle.

Favorite local park, it would be awesome if people didn't throw their cigarettes on the ground or leave their garbage. The city could empty the trash bins more frequently.

  • 4/5 Terry B. 1 year ago on Google
Great play area. It's a bit light on structures but has elements built into the hillside. Could use a few more swings.

  • 5/5 Mike W. 1 year ago on Google
A great, big park to sit back, relax, and people watch and/or chill out. During the summer there are baseball games and that's fun to watch too!

  • 5/5 Joh R. 1 year ago on Google
Nice Park for children of all ages who are not afraid to take risks when they have fun. For parents, it is better to be fit, or you will struggle get up and down the hill.

I found that this park has neither a creek, nor a disproportionate amount of Chinese people in it. While you may be thinking that perhaps the name refers to fine China or ceramic ware, I will stop you right there, because there wasn't any of that stuff here either? And before you try telling me that maybe the name refers to the creaking of trees or something, I'd urge you to pick up a dictionary, notice that 'creak' and 'creek' are 2 totally different words and just get off my back for a minute! Sorry, this isn't about you and I shouldn't have yelled. 4/5 stars
