Pho Japolo has been around for quite a number of years. They have several locations but for a long time the one in North Vancouver was the only one I knew of. After years of not trying it, I finally got around to trying it and wow...I'm hooked on Pho Japolo now! Veggies marinated prawns and grilled chicken vermicelli bowl Veggies and deep fried tofu vermicelli bowl Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Vietnamese Submarine Two sunny side up eggs with grilled lemongrass chicken rice plate We all loved our food. The (Veggies and deep fried tofu with vermicelli) tofu in my bowl was incredibly crispy. When I bit into the tofu it made a "crunch" sound that was extremely audible and gave me goosebumps all over. Our daughter loved her Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Submarine; mu husband said that he had tried a different location of Pho Japolo and had been very happy with the food there already, but that the food at this location was even better. Highly recommend this place! Service: Good Parking: Free Location: 2070 Marine Dr., North Vancouver

Not very friendly or welcoming. The servers were grumpy and it didn't seem like they liked their jobs. The food, not so good. Ordered Spring rolls and couldn't eat them. The taste was bad and they were way overpriced for the portions. The chicken and pork on rice was so so. Didn't like the undercooked chicken skin! The place wasn't that clean especially for these days. And a very bad parking lot. Not very wheelchair friendly. Would not recommend this please.

Probably one of the best pho shops I’ve eaten at in YEARS. Ordered the egg noodle soup with dumpling and the minced pork salad roll just last Sunday … to order the exact same thing again today. Ingredients taste fresh and very well packed via take out. 100% recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho Japolo Vietnamese Restaurant, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere, setting the tone for what was to come. The highlight of the entire experience was, undoubtedly, the food. The dishes we ordered were nothing short of amazing. Each bite was bursting with authentic Vietnamese flavors, leaving us all craving for more. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians, and everything was cooked to perfection. Whether you are a fan of traditional pho or eager to try some exotic Vietnamese delights, Pho Japolo will not disappoint. In addition to the fantastic food, the service was commendable. The staff was attentive and courteous, making sure our needs were met promptly. We didn't have to wait long for our orders to arrive, which is always a plus when you're hungry and eager to indulge in delicious cuisine. The restaurant's ambiance was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy setting for a memorable dining experience. While it might not be the most opulent place, the simplicity and neatness added to the charm, allowing us to focus on what mattered most: the incredible food. Affordability is another major plus point for Pho Japolo. Despite the high quality of their dishes, the prices were reasonable and did not burn a hole in our wallets. The value for money was exceptional, making it an excellent option for both casual outings and family gatherings. Parking can be a headache in busy areas, but Pho Japolo had us covered. The presence of parking space in both the front and back of the restaurant made it convenient for us to find a spot without much hassle. While the overall experience was fantastic, there was one minor downside that deserves mention. The area behind the restaurant seemed neglected, with puddles of dirty water and a lack of maintenance. It was a contrast to the cleanliness and attention to detail inside the establishment. A small effort in maintaining the outdoor space could go a long way in enhancing the overall impression of the restaurant. In conclusion, Pho Japolo Vietnamese Restaurant is a gem for any lover of Vietnamese cuisine. The amazing food, good service, reasonable prices, and convenient parking make it a must-visit. With a bit more attention to the outdoor area, it would truly be an all-around exceptional dining destination. I would gladly return for another delightful meal and recommend it to others without hesitation.

If you undermine this restaurant from its look of the building exterior, please do not hesitate to get inside and try what this restaurant offers. Chewy noodles, depth of taste of soup, and lots of ingredients balanced each dish out perfectly. I was very warmed up physically and spiritually!

This place is VERY unassuming from the outside. But inside it’s a cozy Vietnamese restaurant. The pho was very flavorful and inside was nice and clean. I would definitely come back here or order take out!

Don't let the outside of this building fool you. This place has some pretty good pho. Yea that's it from me. Cause all I ordered was pho.

Haven't been here in awhile. Today felt different from before. Not sure if owners are different or not but food was ok. Don't order extra meat. You don't get much for $6.25. Soup tastes a little sweeter than normal. Chicken was good. Overall an ok experience.

It is so easy to miss this place, but if you happen by try their kitchen. They are super freindly, the service is fast and the dishes are simply amazing.

Do not let the looks fool you. This might be the best Pho I have ever had, and I have had many. This simple looking restaurant makes the tastiest, most delicious broth and noodle combination in Vancouver. They pack everything so neatly and with care, making the whole taking out experience even more enjoyable. Definitely my go to since day one. If you’re in doubt about getting Pho, do not hesitate to order from this place. You will not be disappointed.

We decided to visit this restaurant after seeing heresuch a good rating. Though the restaurant’s outside look doesn’t lure you in, my order Bun Bo Hue was phenomenal. Quickly served and spicy as described. There is room for improving staff’s serving - I found it very straightforward with as less talking as possible.

The food here definitely deserves the 4+ star rating! The pho broth was flavourful and tasted true to authentic pho. The meat was good quality and great portions. The vermicelli was also tasty and had good portions. The price point is fair priced and the service was relatively quick. It’s conveniently close to many hotels that it is within walking distance. Although the restaurant’s exterior does look a bit sketchy don’t let it stop you from trying this place out as the food is certainly worth the visit!

This North Vancouver outlet of Pho Japolo is probably doomed. The location is a prime development site so the restaurant property is not a decorator's delight. But if you enjoy Vietnamese food, it's worth a trip. The menu is arranged in various classes, from beginners to the adventurous. If you don't see what you want, the restaurant suggests you make up your own combo.

The soup gave a lot of beef. Tastes good too. But when we leave, we saw a big rats outside the door. Scared us.

Been going here for years. My favourite Pho on the North Shore. Food is always fresh and fast. It’s a little challenging to get to with all the construction around it but worth the trip. As it cooler, highly recommend if in the mood for some tasty soup or a crispy sandwich.

I ordered from UberEat and got all amazing dishes that I have to rate 5* on GG map for them as well! Best Vietnamese Restaurant at the North! We'll definitely come to eat in the shop next time.

Wonderful testy Pho 🍜 great prices - simple and done. Appreciate They were accommodating my request to switch ingredients... It almost too easy to miss, and the building is slightly hidden under a tree as it’s the last mini turn between North and West Vancouver, so pay close attention (don’t blink 😳) hahaha

They charge 1.25 for a take out container and they don't tell you ! They're profiting off of take out containers. Thieves... Service was terrible and the pho just tasted like water. There's tons of better places. Sadly north van doesn't have any good places which us why people think it's decent here. If you want real vietnamese food go to Pho 37 or Crab Hot Lau

Great food, great service. Restaurant is old and a little tired, but that kinda added to the charm. I figured anywhere that's been around Vancouver as long as this place had to be good and it didn't disappoint.
