Went here on the weekend for lunch. We ordered the Monty Mushroom Burger and Louisiana Fried Chicken Burger. The Monty Mushroom burger was pretty good and they catered to our request to have the mushrooms on the side and extra Triple O sauce. As for the Louisiana Chicken burger I was not very impressed. The chicken was over cooked and did not fill the bun. In addition the burger was too sweet in taste for my liking (but that’s a personal opinion). But at the end of the day, decent meal especially with the bottomless fries.

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning at 9:30am. There were only two tables occupied with guests and the host took us to a table where the sun is shining directly at my eyes. She then “shifted” the table to the left but the sun followed. Obviously she had no common sense. There were at least 30 empty tables. There was a kid’s menu, but only big forks. My 6 year old daughter just lost a tooth, and the adult fork was too big for her to eat properly. I asked the waitress for a dessert fork, she says “we don’t have those.”🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ When she approached the table with our food, one packet of strawberry jam dropped on the floor. She picked it up from the floor and just PUT IT right on our desk. Probably that’s what they do behind the scene as well, but doing so in front of customer is evidence that this restaurant has no regulations to serving customer properly. The only thing was the food was good so I left 1 star on. The whole experience was a lousy one.

Came here a few times during non rush hours, and it always feels like the service is lacking. Last time we were the only table in the area and our server kept chatting with her coworker, it was hard to get her attention. Never came to refill our waters, too.

Bought my bestfriend here, as she just flew in from Ukraine and had never had white spot. It's a childhood restaurant of mine, so we had to go. This location had probably the best burger I've had at any white spot location. I actually commented to the owner, that it's was the juiciest one I've had yet.... we ordered another lol.

Standard and consistent with White Spot fare and quality at this location. Can be a bit of a wait during busy hours.

Slow service and so-so food taste overall. The hash browns (smashed potatoes) were not seasoned well, unlike last time (a reason we were back today)...sad! My veggie burger wasn’t tasty either, but the Spot salad was awesome.

Had one of the best breakfasts here recently. Sunny side up eggs were nice and yellow and perfectly cooked. Good portions of back bacon. Crispy yet not greasy hash browns. Service was very friendly. Restaurant was very clean. This is a good White Spot. Well done folks!

This one is so close to IKEA, so perfect for us to have a nice weekend lunch then continue shopping. This restaurant is not crowded, food was good. Service made us felt great as well.

Got large take out order on New Years Day around 5pm. Restaurant wasn't too busy but take out looked pretty steady. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I expected to be waiting a while but was pleasantly surprised when it came out on time. Great job!

Service this poor needs to be shared so we can stand together in boycotting, or at the least be aware you might get screwed over if you decide to eat here.. We ordered from here for a work dinner, figured a rib dinner would be a great treat after a long day at work, and at 28$ figured it'd be great. WRONG. The picture is the entirety of the meal, 5 ribs that could fit on my palm, and they "forgot' to deliver the salad... upon informing of the incorrect order all they could offer was a rebate on the salad ? How about a proper sized portion? Or a complete meal? Needless to say I will never be back to any Whitespot and will tell every human who suggests it how disappointed they will soon be.

I recently visited White Spot with my son and our experience was a mix of satisfaction and disappointment. My son ordered the half ribs and fried chicken, and he found it to be quite good. However, when it came to the two piece fish and chips, our excitement quickly faded. While one piece was of adequate size, the second piece resembled more of a chicken strip in terms of portion. When it came time for dessert, I was particularly let down. Having been a loyal customer of White Spot for over 15 years, I have always enjoyed their delicious Apple pie. However, on this occasion, I was dismayed to find out that they now serve microwaved apple pie. It's disheartening to see White Spot lower their standards and believe that such a subpar dessert is acceptable. To add to my disappointment, when I voiced my concerns to the manager on duty, Sunit, he simply brushed it off by mentioning that it's their standard protocol. This lack of customer care and unwillingness to address my concerns left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope that White Spot takes this feedback into consideration and works towards restoring the quality and standards that they were once known for. Until then, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend their food and service.

Hostess and manager (on his phone texting) just stood there upon entry. Didn't greet us until we ask for a table. After, the hostess took us to a table that was not cleaned and made it wait there. After 5 mins wait, she took us to another table and just sat us. She didn't even ask if i need a booster or high chair when i am carrying my 1 year old kid. We had to ask for her and her respose was " Oh! you need one?" Order a Cobb Salad, it look so bad looking. Didnt even have majority of the ingredient that was listed on the menu. Had to ask our waitress to get it for me. Also hear the Calm Chowder was frozen so we can't order it. Overall i would not go back to this whitespot. Only thing that was good was our waitress.

We had a reservation today at 11.30am for a works Christmas lunch that was organized two weeks ago. The service was appalling. We arrived as planned at 11.30 and we did not see the first plate of food arrive until 12.45/12.50. The final person to receive their food was served past 1pm. The reservation was for 20 people and we had one server. Having booked this two weeks in advance surely that would have been enough time to organize staff and have at least two staff to serve a group of 20. I do not blame the lady that was serving as she was trying her best but it was really poor overall. When the food arrived it was cold but after having been there for nearly two hours at that point the group decided we just wanted to leave. Such a forgettable experience and a real shame as the lunch was ruined at that point. Will not be back

Less busy than other Richmond locations. Friendly, helpful service. Free plaza parking. Walking distance from IKEA.

White Spot has always been very consistent with the quality control of their food and this location is no exception. However, the service at this location was terrible and no where close to any of the other locations I frequently visit. Upon entering the restaurant none of the staff even acknowledged my existence even though they walked by several times. It wasn't until I stopped someone and asked for a table did anyone actually speak to me.

Greeting from host was less than enthusiastic or friendly. He couldn't even crack a smile. No complaints for the server. She made me feel welcome, was prompt & courteous. Sadly, the food was disappointing. I've been eating White Spot burgers for 50 years, so I remember what they were like in their prime. There was barely any Triple O sauce or relish on the burgers, and the meat patty is so thin! The fries were anaemic and not crisp. Sad. This table for two is still searching for the White Spot burger experience we remember, and won't be returning to this location.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a wonderful restaurant and I must say, it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles from the friendly staff, and the inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes that were expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Each dish was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and bursting with freshness. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail in the plating, as each dish looked like a work of art. The service was impeccable throughout the meal, with the staff anticipating my every need without being intrusive. The waitstaff were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations on both food and wine. The ambiance of the restaurant was simply enchanting. The lighting was just right, the decor was tasteful and elegant, and the music was the perfect background to a lovely evening. Overall, I can say with confidence that this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. I went to this White Spot once a year or two ago so did not have expectations returning as I did not have the best experience the first time. Service ended up being amazing, especially from the host (I didn’t catch their name) and our server. Jashan provided amazing services. I gave a great tip because she was very relaxed, patient, and stopped by every now and then to ask us how we were doing. Service at this location has definitely improved overtime. Thanks White Spot Bridgeport team!

We were there for lunch on our way to the airport, we ordered an appetizer and some mains. It took a while, not an issue, but then our mains arrived, asked the server about the appetizer and she said it was coming , we ordered the Humboldt squid, when they arrived about half way through our meal they were cold and under cooked and rubbery. By the time our server returned we were done our main and didn’t have time to complain about the squid, we had a plane to catch. Seem straightforward an appetizer should come before the mains…

Went last Saturday for dinner and had a less than stellar experience: Heating in the place was cranked up so high we were all uncomfortable. Removed a bunch of layers of clothing and it was still unbearable and stuffy with everyone's cheeks flushed. It hit like an oven when we walked in the door. Service was slowwww and we were there early for dinner, around 5 pm, so it definitely wasn't busy. I'm not sure if our table was maybe forgotten about but after waiting and waiting I observed another party that came in after us order and receive their food. I had to flag down their server, who then went to track down our server. Server was quite young and seemed a bit stunned, or overwhelmed maybe. Nice girl but needed a couple of reminders to bring over what we had ordered. The worst though was her perfume....I didn't think servers were allowed heavy perfume while working but this was so strong it lingered in the air even after she walked away. I had fries with my meal and I would say roughly 50% of them were overcooked, rock hard and inedible (photo attached). Between the heat and the strong perfume (which others at my table also commented on, seeing as our eyes were practically watering) I ended up with a killer headache and we packed up the end of our meal to go. Too bad because I usually love White Spot however I think I'll be giving this location a pass in the future. 😬

This is a good place to pop in and have a quick meal or watch the game. The service is good and the food is good as well. I love the burgers and the bottomless fries. The legendary burger is a classic and my favorite burger. I had a seafood pasta that was actually quite good as well. The prices are reasonable and it's a good place to bring the family or friends for a meal. I've been here a few times and it's usually not too busy. Will come here again.

Everything was served cold. Butter didn't even melt on waffles....not som ewhere I would go again.

Food was good but not up to what I am used to from white spot. Service was slow and we had to ask for everything. It was clean and very new looking inside. They also have an outdoor seating area.

Waitress helping us was poorly trained and not attentive. First when we came in she kept coming back every 60 seconds trying to rush us to order. When we had just sat down. We needed maybe 2-3 min... Then she said to flag hire down when we were ready... Took us 10 minutes to catch her after finding another waiter to grab her for us... We needed refills on our waters for 20 min before she checked back. Food was great. Just wish the service matched the quality of the food.

Horrible. I ordered zoo sticks and thry gave me Cole slaw instead of zoo dip. The fries were soggy and the zoo sticks were over fried. This is my worst White Spot experience ever.

We choose White Spot for consistently good comfort food. Service is generally good and Covid safety measures are still being respected. We enjoyed our Monty mushroom burgers served with generous Spot salads. Thanks for keeping us all safe.
