Michaels Langley... lots of stock, lots of parking, excellent friendly staff. Not enough staff. PLEASE Hire more staff - - please. Put a manager in the store. So many customers walking out because they can't find product. 2 tills open, I personally spoke with the 2 staff I saw on the floor trying their hardest to keep up. They couldn't find the product I was looking for either. I will always shop Michaels, but take your patience and lots of time.

I loved this place! I ordered a beef noodle soup and it was delicious. The wait was short and the place is very clean. One of the best noodles places in the area, would definitely go again.

We have just discovered this restaurant... Only after two years it opened. And we live just a couple of blocks away. Fo figure. Went there on Halloween night and had an excellent experience. The place is small but super clean and very inviting. Menu is quite compact but everything we tried was very, very tasty. We will definitely be coming back. This time to try the lunch special Oh, and the prices are very reasonable. Strongly recommended!

Great place to find everything for crafts or arts. They have youth and adult T-shirts. Well stocked on most items, not busy, plenty of parking out front.

I would say the customer service in this one is the worst because i asked for help to get me craft box from the top shelf and they kept me standing when i was 9 months pregnant at the checkout for half an hour and keep saying we are are working on it.Finally i have to left and they seems unbothered.I just avoid going there now .

Not l busy on Sunday afternoon, just 2 in line for tills. Staff was helpful locating isles etc.. Found Inventory was a little light for Knitting needles and household glues. Probably supplies compromised due to Covid19.

Great place to get art supplies. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately, some shelves were empty. Maybe due to supply issues. I don't know. Lots of free parking.

There were a few other shoppers, but not packed. We got the crochet hooks and yarn we need for our project. Checkout person was very cheerful. It's great walking out of a store with a smile on your face.

I used to go to this location for cake decorating classes and its an excellent store. The classes and selection offered is great and there are tons of time slots to attend. However, like all Michael's locations, upon entering you get lost in a hurry and I find somethings hard to find. The store offers a wide selection of products but I find the store layout a bit confusing. I happened to go in for frames and I do know exactly where to go for those. Also, you would have to travel to Vancouver if you wanted newer release items as this is not a flagship store (as per staff).

Love coming here for their cheap canvas options. I do some painting here and there and they have a nice selection of low, medium, high quality canvas to choose from for a project. Even the sizing can get quite large. Paint selection is also quite good for in a time crunch.

this place was a pleasant surprise. dishes were decent tho it was a bit heavy on the spices. great atmosphere and most importantly super friendly server! i would love to try other dishes next time.

  • 5/5 Zo W. 5 years ago on Google
Small restaurant that has great food. I was amazed at how fast the chef was able to make our dishes as he made the noodles fresh from scratch. I had the spicy szechuan chicken and it had alot of flavor and spice. Also tried the salt and pepper chicken was very crispy, it just could use a dipping sauce when it was served. This place is licensed as well.

  • 5/5 Angela H. 5 years ago on Google
The ambience is very relaxing with soft lighting and quiet music. I had the chicken stir fry with their delicious hand made fresh noodles. This particular dish had the biggest cuts of chicken I've ever seen in a restaurant stir fry and overall it's a large portion. The water was filtered and perfect temperature. The server was fast, efficient, nice, and kept refilling the green tea. The server also let us have a peaceful dinner without constantly asking how it was, so that was awesome.

  • 3/5 Mark B. 4 years ago on Google
I was excited to eat here, Dumplings were tasty and well presented, however the stir fry lacked presentation and was oily. Price was great and service was good, clean dining room.

  • 5/5 Myung-Jin K. 3 years ago on Google
I wanted to visit place because they served hand pulled noodles. Finally got the time to come and it was worth it! The broth was de----licious!!!!! Added some hot oil and chinese vinegar made it even better! Wow! There are ramen places nearby but compared to legendary, it's pitiful! I need to go to this place waaaaay more! They also had the soup dumplings but it wasn't the greatest unfortunately. Skin was a bit thick and dumplings didn't really have much soup in it. Just go for the noodles as they ARE legendary noodles.

Awsome fresh noodles. Sooo tasty. Portions were very big. I couldn't finish my noodles with garlic & lemon sauce. So I brought the leftover home ☺. It made a tasty breakfast. 😀 Thank you Lulu for suggesting this.

  • 5/5 John W. 4 years ago on Google
The restaurant is small, but bright of the windows, clean of the table and kind of the staff. House made Tea is really good, Spicy and Sour Noodles is the hundred percent Chinese taste and best. The size of dishes are larger, the dishes ordered by two are enough for three people.

We LOVE this place. This is the finest example of small maybe family recipes. A quite place to eat. Noodles are fresh. Homemade from scratch. The chef special, I mean the chef, knows and works crazy hard. A true pleasure. We go often. Can't wait to eat inside. Thank you for being open. Regards.

Not sure what the hype with this place is all about. But ill say I'm not impressed at all by what me and my partner were served tonight. I got the lamb noodle and the broth is so watery and lacking of salt I'm not sure how folks can enjoy this . Perhaps it's about the lamb flavour but even that is just so light of a flavour. I was craving something salty and savoury, and the lamb pieces were so sparce I feel the broth was made with the few pieces I got. The dish is literally 98% noodle. My partners dish was something on the opposite end. Mushy noodles coated in kimchi with essence of garlic and lemon. No broth at all, no real flavour. The menus said it was spicy but there is nothing spicy about this? It's just mushy noodles with only 2 pieces of broccoli and some other vegetables mixed in. Again 90% noodle. The shrimp dumplings were regular. Nothing impressive especially at $6 for 5. I expected more. The only good thing I can say about this place was the spring rolls were ok. That's about it I don't think we will be coming back. There's nothing legendary about this place

I want to like this place, unfortunately our experience fell really short. We had takeout, our order was mixed up, and of the four dishes we ordered all four were really unexpectedly bland. Two stars because the staff was nice, unfortunately this won't make up for the food.

The soup base is amazing. The noodles are fresh, but a touch too chewy. Just a touch though, as noodle quality is still top notch and clearly made fresh. Xiao lon bao is quite good too. Restaurant quality is as good as the places in Vancouver and Richmond.

Authentic beef noodle soup from LanZhou. The noodle was tasty and fresh. When I couldn’t finish my noodle and want to take out, the chef was not pleased because he knew noodles need to eat freshly. This made me know that this chef knows his stuff and only wants the best noodle eating experience for his customers. A five out of five for sure!

Food is good, the reason I won’t give five star is they add tips for you with highest rate instead of you choose on your own if you are Chinese, don’t feel comfortable on that.

The beef noodle soup was excellent. Very authentic. But, the stir fried noodles lacked seasoning. It seems like they didn’t add any salt or seasoning to it. Flavours were very bland. Unfortunate since it looked delicious.

Oooooooh yeahhhhh. Fried chicken and dry tofu salad, two tsingdao beers... but the main dish recommended by the shop was AMAZING. They gave me the Lemon Garlic dry mixed noodles with fat prawns... my gods, that was absolutely unexpectedly perfect. My Taiwanese friend and I were very impressed with this place. Service was attentive with one cook in the back on a Sunday night. There was literally two parties lined up before they reopened for night service at 5pm. Very friendly owner let us in early to get seated while we wait for the rest of the evening staff to arrive. Yeah, I'm coming back for sure.

Store is a tidy and well organized. Lot of crafty things if that's your jam. Shanna is the best in this store - she's worked there a long time and knows things inside and out. Super friendly and always provides the best customer service. If you're stopping by ask for Shanna every time!

Went to return 4 slim tall vases because they kept toppling over even with water in them as support. An old lady that went over to the main cashier and started making rude gestures and even lying about the return policy. The vases were an online order and they came with no stickers I guess for barcode? Lady kept insisting they did but they didn’t. This experience was so uncomfortable, made me feel like returning something that didn’t work was a crime. For context I bought them just a couple days ago so it’s not like I bought them past their return policy. That isn’t even the worst part, this woman was practically speaking so loudly everyone could hear her rude comments. What a humiliating experience!!!!!

Great craft store! Affordable and good quality. However - Often low stock, you need to learn the days the refill. Staff often won’t get items out of the back for you, even if they have it in stock. What’s on the shelf is what you get.

  • 1/5 Ronda M. 1 year ago on Google
I was put on hold for 5 min to have the merchant tell me I had to have an item number to determine if they had the product in stock. If they can’t tell me then how the heck can I find out without going into their store? So often Michael’s does not have the product in supply. Best to not waste your time shopping at this store.

I've received poor customer service twice in a row now. Doesn't look like the manager reads or cares about these comments but in order for business to succeed and do well customer feedback is crucial. Staff attitudes in person & over the phone needs vast improvement. Lost a customer here.

The staff are very courteous & willing to help you find the product u're looking for. When ready to pay for u're purchases, even when the line up looks long the system they've got set up is amazing & even at Christmas time I waited less than 6-7 minutes. 😉

This Michael's is in Langley. It is a much better place to go shopping then the one in Abbotsford. It's shelfs are better stocked. And l was really happy to be able to buy all the beads and accessories there than the Abbotsford branch. I should not say this. But l really think the Abbotsford brach should either work harder on getting the necessary stock for its shelfs or close.

This is my repeat location and I'm always finding something for my crafting shenanigans! Mostly well stocked but I can't complain. The staff are friendly and helpful! And be sure to hold onto your coupons that come attached with the receipt for 30-40% off an item, or check their website online for the weekly one.

  • 1/5 Brad M. 1 year ago on Google
I wanted to buy an expensive item. Costco had it for cheaper but I was willing to pay more to get a little extra knowledge from people who know crafting machines. It turns out they could not answer my questions, but I'd already made 2 stops and decided to support Michael's higher price as long as it came with same accessories as Costco. I knew nothing and couldn't tell from the box. A staff member said we could open and look. Once opened they had a genuine fear of a manager who realized we opened the box! *gasp*. I laughed it off thinking that the manager surely would be fine once I learned that I was a serious buyer and would probably drop $500 there in the next 5 mins. But there was no recovery. The employee felt bad, I felt shame, and it ended with the manager literally walking away carrying with the product with them. I drove to London drugs, they answered my one question (by opening the box) and I bought it immediately. I still have awkward feeling about the way I way treated and don't wish to return.

I was there to buy a frame for my painting. Good deal. 50% off. Still not cheap but I want to try and see how they prepare it. It will be ready after 2 weeks. Very nice customer service.

I like this location, they have good stock ect. The reason for the one star is the customer service / cashier . A lady was in front of me and the Michael’s employee was trying to get her to go to self checkout. She replied no she wants to see the cashier (English was not her first language) and the employee was rude & replied if you can’t figure out self checkout then you can wait in a condescending tone. The worker was an older lady with short hair maybe in her 60’s. It’s not the customers job to self checkout - her saying no should have been answer enough . I felt the Michael’s employee was trying to make her feel bad for wanting to deal with a cashier.

I'm here too much not to like it. The team that works here are so friendly and they'll take time to talk about your project to see if they can help you find the best solution or product that will work. I find sometimes that they'll be low on something but usually it's back in stock in no time

Prices are okay, always understaffed, and the staff don’t have the knowledge when it comes to art to be helpful at all. Most important art supplies shelves are empty, like brushes and good oil paints and mediums. 3 stars only for having a variety of supplies generally.
