Great overpriced drip served in a cheap cup with a lid that always leaks. Be sure to bring a bib to not stain your fresh shirt. Enjoy a dry muffin for what should be the price of two.

JJ Bean continues to grow in Vancouver, with new locations popping up in high traffic areas in this city. This West Broadway location has just recently opened at a spot formerly occupied by a different coffee franchise, and it seems that the neighbors around it have fully embraced it. This can be explained easily, the brand excels in both their coffee beverages and their sweet breads and cookies. While some other brands do well in one of the two, JJ Bean is more consistent. This location is relatively small, compared to, say their Commercial Drive one. So, seating area in this minimalistic decor setting is relatively limited, and this brings an issue, few tables but occupied by people glued on their laptops, a very annoying trend for those of us that still go out for a cup of coffee and enjoy a conversation. Can a time limit be set to these people? Service here, as in all other locations, extremely friendly. Prices very fair! Very relaxed now in these post-covid times.

Fresh space for good coffee. Light coloured furniture and bright. They are being very careful of lineups and 2m spacing. My wife and I stopped at the end of our afternoon bike ride for Decaf Cappuccinos. We added a chocolate chip cookie which was outstanding. The decaf was up to JJ Bean’s high standards. Enjoy.

The staff is really friendly and I love their coffee. However, they seem to get my order wrong quite often. I cannot drink regular milk so I always ask for oat milk and unfortunately I've had to go back to get my drinks remade several times because they keep giving me regular milk instead of oat. Also, they give me the wrong order quite often (giving me a regular latte instead of a mocha, etc). I hope they get this sorted.

Outstanding service, delicious baked goods, and unparalleled coffee. My family and I needed this JJ bean to keep peace this quarantine year. We love this particular JJ because of many things, but at the top of the list is the incredibly friendly staff who always make us smile!!!

Where do I begin. 3$ for a small cup of coffee. Wow. They say because it's sustainable. What a joke. Company is not paying for it but customer is. What are they paying the people 2$ per hour? Secondly, the coffee was horrible. No better than a coffee you would find in an institution. Absolute garbage.

Ordered a soy latte and got a milk latte. Cashier didn’t hear me I guess? I pretty much yell my order. Barista remade the drink but I’m a bit disappointed she didn’t clue in on the Coffee mug sticker?

All JJs slap, but this one is my personal fave. Staff are friendly and fast and coffee is always incredible (even their decaf!)

I don’t go to places that have unfriendly staff, well that’s not the case at jj bean on w Broadway. They are so kind for toasting my wrap when I am in a rush and calling ahead. I love jj bean overall for the coffee and vegan wraps.

No matter which location might go to the staff is always wonderful and happy. Love their coffee and their food, I've literally never had a bad experience.

Okay… the baked goods here.. AMAZING. Probably the BEST croissant I have ever had. My boyfriend strongly agreed that this place is absolutely AMAZING. We are now obsessed with JJ Bean, it’s delicious!!

My usual go to coffee shop in the neighbourhood! Everyone is welcoming and friendly. I like the breakfast wraps/sandwiches,cookies and of course the coffee. Sometimes waits are long but that is to be expected during their rush. Will always come back. :)

Nice clean store. First time trying JJ Bean coffee. I had a mocha. Very good, but I had to wait almost 15 minutes to get it, and there were only 3-4 people in the shop. They later explained that earlier it was very empty so they shut down a machine. Then it got busy all of a sudden. I would come back though.

The Café is amazing and the Staff is increadibly nice and always make me smile when ever I come there. I always feel welcomed and I have never had a Bad expierience with any of the staff. My usual Order is a Hot Chocolate, which is one of the best I ever had. But the cookies are also amazing. I love the double chocolate one, which is amazing if you love chocolate. I go here almost every day and will continue to so! If I could give this place more than 5 Stars I would definitely do so.

Consistently high quality drinks and food prepared by friendly and efficient staff. JJ Bean is one of the few coffee shops still accepting personal mugs during COVID (you slide it under the plexiglass and they fill the container without touching it) which is great for sustainability!

Nice place with great product. The non-fat latte was a perfect temperature and my Chicken Modena sandwich was nicely grilled/pressed. The staff are polite and attentive while taking orders, but while preparing them the 3 behind the counter were a bit too caught up in conversation while customers (including me and my friend) waited a bit too long for our purchase. Four stars.

This location is perfect for those looking for a good cup of coffee in Kits. My favourite thing about it is that it opens at 6am, which is really unusual for decent cafes in Vancouver. So it's the perfect spot to grab a morning coffee before work. It's a cozy size, but the organization of tables inside still allows for quite a few people. And not only are there tables & chairs outside (under a covered area!) but there are also a couple of long benches too (not covered). In terms of coffee, JJ Bean is always one of my top go-to places for a consistently good cup. This location, being a bit smaller than some of their others, does not always have as much food & snacks available, and they sell out of certain muffins fairly quickly in the mornings.
