    Ramen... department manager snatched a t-shirt out of my kids hands and hollered at them... Are you gonna pay for it! We got separated and was tryna escort them out I caught her red handed with the t-shirt in her hand and she tried to make a sale .. when I addressed her she said it's fine and walked away! I am the manager You do not treat anyone that way ...I was going to pay for it until my son told me how humiliating it was Do not go here.....she is very rude... Other staff were good about getting me the email Carmen the manager addressed it right on the spot

    It's the Hudsons Bay. Very old store. Pretty sure they have the original carpets from 1966. Surely we can change those out? Rest of store looks alright. They have a Zellers corner now and lots of "clearance" sales in store. But with all the changes and renovations at Guildford Town Centre this part of the mall feels run down and out dated. (The stock on the shelves trying to cover up the filthy carpets does look quite nice though...)

    I ordered Steve Madden boots of Hudson's bay online. The day I received them I wore them for approximately 3 hours before they broke. I contacted customer service immediately and they quickly responded saying to send photos. Once I did again they quickly responded and stated if I send them back by Nov. 1st I will receive a full refund to my original form of payment. Once they received the damaged boots i received an email stating they sent my gift card in the mail. I was quite upset as I did not want a gift card and was told I would get my actual money back. I attempted to contact this company SIX TIMES. Each and every time I received numerous excuses such as "you didn't send them quick enough back" even though they received them September 29th, which I have proof of via their own email stating they received them. They have been nothing but rude and disrespectful by far the worst customer service I have ever received. They have now just stopped responding to me. It is wild that such a large company such as this has such awful customer service and are unable to follow their OWN policies. Absolutely ridiculous will never be using again. I caution you about using this online website.

    The store is poorly stocked. Limited selection in the men's wear department. Clothes are on the floor being walked on. It was once a good place to shop. Not any more. Sad to see a great retailer go down the drain.

    The store itself has no problem at all. The things that you could see in the store are really of good quality. The only concern I have in me is that the prices are too high. Way too high that you would think only the very rich people who have all the means could afford to go shopping in this store. If I will be the one to go shopping this will be the very last store I would go. Sorry that's just me.

    They have a large selection of top quality merchandise and often have good sales. The store needs a refresh and remodel. The floors and carpets are showing their age.

    Zellers was waaaaay over hyped. Such a let down,price point is higher than the competition and nothing is thoughtfully marketed nor is anything enticing whatsoever. The comeback of Zellers fell flat.Seems like a Hudson's Bay afterthought. Don't bother... Foodieatlarge Ou812 on Google maps.

    Good place to do shopping with lot of stuff including house hold items, clothes, furniture, perfumes and much more. There are good deals also but everything up to the buyer's choice. Located inside the grilford mall.

    On December 30th, 2023 I walked into this location of The Bay to buy something for the first time in 15 years. A jacket, because the nearby Walmart didn't have anything that looked even remotely good. Wow did I make a mistake. So I still wear an N95 mask, not so much because I fear infection as because so many stores and transit douse themselves in strong-smelling "cleansers", I can't breathe inside a typical store for more than a few seconds without getting nauseous from that overwhelming sickly-sweet synthetic odour they put in that institutional cleanser everyone started using during the pandemic (prior to the pandemic it wasn't a common odour, you maybe found it in motels, hospitals, etc). Anyway, N95 masks really work, and this meant that I didn't know how bad The Bay smells... The pandemic is officially over, SO WHY ARE THEY STILL USING THAT INDUSTRIAL CLEANSER? It's 10 days later and that $300 jacket still REEKS of institutional misery. I've washed it three times. After the third wash I was forced to wear it yesterday, as my old jacket doesn't even have a working zipper anymore and the snow has started. I couldn't believe how strong that jacket still smelled, even through my mask I was still getting a hint of it in the car. The real nightmare started when I came back home. The reek of that institutional cleanser was in the rest of my clothes, in my skin, in my hair (the jacket has a hood). It's like skunk spray! You can't remove it, and it transfers from surface to surface to surface. Even after I showered my hair still reeked of it all night. I got almost no sleep last night because my own bed now reeks of institutional cleanser, transferred from the jacket I bought from you despite washing it three times first, to my hair, and then to my bed despite washing my hair first. I'm now washing all my bedding but I don't have a lot of hope that I'll be able to entirely remove that institutional reek. I came into your store because I thought you were selling a quality product. I was not expecting my home to be contaminated by nauseating forever chemicals. Even if I tried to return the jacket it would be too late, the reek has already transferred. Your sales staff were unfriendly as well. Yeah, there was a rip in my jeans. Yeah, I'm visibly poor. There was no need to scowl, my credit card works as well as anyone's and I'm *actually* clean unlike you guys. That's why spending $300 on something that smells so institutional hurts so much, I thought I was splurging on myself, a treat, didn't expect this olfactory nightmare. Btw, Walmart reeks too, but clothes bought there can actually be successfully decontaminated, unlike the jacket I bought from you.

    My daughter loves the Bay as we walk threw the beautiful smells of the Parfume department and they have some great 50% off deals on designer kids clothing(Brand name and quality) no matter what Bay I go to it's always got that familiar feeling from growing up close to one of the major turn of the century Flagship stores in the middle of Canada. When the prices are good it's hard to find better quality for Less elsewhere. Go check it out!

    Unfortunately, it was xmas time, and what I was looking for did not have my size anymore. But I was greeted, guided, and helped by 3 staff members! Wow, a smile and helpful service.     Worst customer service I had while shopping. They directed me to put the stuff back on hangers that I tried on. They should hire more people or put a notice at the entry about restocking of the merchandise by the customer themselves. This is not normal. I wish I had the 0-star option.

    Disorganized shelves with low numbers of products. Very expensive for many items. I remember shopping at the Bay regularly when I was a child to get household staples and back-to-school clothing shopping but now it feels more like an upscale store catering to the upper-middle class or the wealthy and not the average family. I was excited to see the classic Bay colours on a cozy blanket but at $200 I quickly put that away.

    This store has gone downhill in recent years. There are several checkout counters on each floor, but never more than one or two are staffed. The store itself is getting pretty run down. Carpeting is stained and torn. Floor tiles are broken and duct taped to the floor, etc. The only area that seems to be well-staffed are the cosmetic counters. They were out of stock on the item that I ordered and so they ordered it online for me. They ordered the wrong product and when I contacted their service department, I received no reply.

    It was big and easy to navigate. Most of the items were related to house where or furniture. With only a small section relatively reserved for clothing.

    It's like a mall, inside one store. Staff is always user friendly. When you were a kid? Do you remember talking to your friend's parents? That's what it's like talking to this stuff at the bay.

    I know Lancôme’s product can be found in many stores, but I know I'm picky about the slight difference in the colour of the foundation.I'd rather drive half an hour to Hudson's Bay. At the Lancôme counter, a beautiful young lady Jennifer is very knowledgeable about their products. She patiently helped me and answered all my questions, I am so happy to shop there instead of a Pharmacy.

    The older (Persian?) woman in shoes was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The guy at perfumes sold me on a very expensive bottle so I guess he’s a good salesman 😩

    Really nice knowledgeable staff and Sam took her time explaining the product options available. A++ Much better than online buying options . Online products are cheaper but you do not know what will be suitable for you. So in person store visit is required and this is one of the better options.

    The collection is good but the customer service is very poor. I tried few dresses and kept the ones that I didn't like on the counter. The lady in the fitting room called me back while I was leaving and asked me to hang all the used clothes on hanger. She just stood there watching me. When I hanged them all, she again asked me to do them inside out. I felt disrespected with this type of service. So people if you are looking for good service and experience, this is surely not the place.

    I was at the Bay last night. Again this is another store that does not sell you a paper bag with your purchase. I am all for stopping the use of plastic bags in Surrey but give some customer services. The only bag they had cost $2.00 When I purchase something I want to feel proud and walk out with it in a paper bag. The Staff were awesome.

    This location could do a much better job of organizing the clothing departments as they are scattered and appear messy. The ladies side isn't too bad but the men's is fairly bad. Aside from that there are limited staff so check out is a bit challenging ( I would note that the staff shortage was apparent before covid and is a business strategy by The Bay)

    We came here multiple time but did not get what we wanted. We finally got good jackets at wonderful price. The store has good collection but not many people to help you. We luckily got one person who helped us with what we want. Whenever I have come to this store there is hardly anyone to help either in clothing section or shoes.

    The Bay has been a good store over the years however with the rise of online shopping and introduction of Stores like Winners and Marshall's, they need to be more competitive on their prices. Often you can find the same clothes online or at Winners for 50% less or more. So I do walk thru The Bay but haven't bought anything there for over a year. The management need to recognize the above fact and work on their pricing.

    3 stars for the store but 5 stars to the associate named JENNIFER in the beauty section. Extremely nice and went beyond the typical bay transaction which made me feel like a valued customer. I usually don’t like going to the beauty section because it feels unwelcoming and we feel rushed whenever we are still deciding what to buy.
