It's soooo good !!! chicken is not greasy. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I recommend soy garlic chicken for kids, sweet spicy chili chicken is for you. Don't forget try to their Korean style bread. Looking at the picture... I want to eat it again. I'm sure you will love it too :)

Amazing fried chicken. Like Lucky's but better batter IMO. The dipping sauces.. soy/garlic and sweet/spicy chili. They were FANTASTIC. The batter is light, golden and delicious. Great packaging as well. Will be back for sure.

After traveling to South Korea I developed a craving for Korean fried chicken, but couldnt quite find anywhere that resembled it, or was able to on my own. Then Tongdak came into my life. This place is the real deal! Their chicken is delicious and reminds me of the many nights of 치맥 with friends until the early mornings. The stickers on the box are nice :) 감사합니다!

Ordered-in the original meal and a order of the cheddar dusted chicken this last week for the family and we all enjoyed it so much. I had been craving it since and today my husband and I stopped by restaurant. Very friendly service, and the food again was delicious! Crispy, tender, flavourful chicken I can’t get enough of. I won’t settle for any other fried chicken! Great job TongDak!

Amazing fried chicken. We got the Yang-Nyeum flavor and it was phenomenal, so great that we ate it all so fast without taking a picture first but heres the empty box covered in sauce to prove how delicious it was!😂

Tried to buy a singular Korean corn dog and only had a 100$ bill, came to 8$ for the corn dog, they said they would take the bill and gave me back a twoonie 😳 had to argue with them for 5 minutes that I should definitely be getting more then a twoonie back and they said I gave them a 10$ bill as I still saw my 100$ bill in their hand… they refused to give me my cash back after the corn dog so I asked for my bill back and they kicked me out. So don’t bring cash (or at least big bills) if you’re going to go here. 🤔😒☠️ still amazing food but was not good service.

I moved to Kamloops 4 years ago, had my first Tongdak chicken 3.5 years ago, had my second Tongdak chicken 3.5 years ago minus one day, and had my third Tongdak chicken 3.5 years ago minus two days... Thats right Korean fried chicken 3 days straight. The owners are incredibly friendly, feels great to support them. The Gan-Jang and Go-Ma are my faves!

This place has incredible food. I tried the fried chicken with rice and salad and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to try it again next time I’m in town

Juicy, crispy, and SUPER flavourful, this place is like the warm embrace of your Grandma in food form. They have become a regular choice for me when I need something to lift me up and warm the soul. The Yeung Nyam is my favourite flavour, with rich and sweet Gochujang (fermented chili paste), it is unami and rich spice but not in a burn your mouth way, exceptionally good. The Korean cheese ball is also exquisite, maybe the best fried cheese snack I have had to date, made with a super chewy dough and stuffed with mozza, served with an incredible sweet and creamy sauce. I'd suggest ordering extra of the cheese ball sauce to dip your chicken, it's that good. Tong Dak has been nothing but amazing since they first opened and I recommend them to anyone you enjoys crispy juicy chicken. They are the only punch card offering restraint that I actually save the card for haha, one of my favourites in Kamloops.

My husband ordered #3 which is soy sause & garlic fried chicken. OMG they were so good!! So crispy and tender. Highly recommended!! No pictures b/c we ate it all on the way to our hotel 😀

Ordered from here the other night and it was amazing! The chicken was so crispy and all of the sauces were so good, the corndog was my favourite for sure! The portions were generous and the price was fair. We will definitely be ordering again.

We were in the mood for chicken but not the typical fast food. I found Tongdak on Google and their menu options all sounded delicious and the prices were also fair. So we ordered two of the honey butter garlic boxes and two of the Korean corn dogs. First off, when we brought it to the car the smell was absolutely heavenly. It was all hot and fresh & the presentation was nice. I tried the Korean corn dog first…wow! It was not your standard corn dog. It was crispy, lightly dusted with sugar and had a little drizzle of ketchup and mustard. Filled with mozzarella cheese for that satisfying cheese pull and then your little beef dog. 10/10. The chicken was phenomenal. Hands down some of the best fried chicken I’ve tasted. There was a perfect amount of sauce and the pieces of chicken were a surprisingly large size which allowed for us to have the rest the following day. Even being re-heated in the air fryer, they were still just as delicious as when they were fresh! Would definitely recommend this restaurant. So good!

Really amazing selection of korean chicken. I am regular customer when I used to live in kamloops. Now i stopby and order when i can during travels. Kudos to the owners wishing you all more success in the future. I recommend the honey garlic flavor. Hope i see this restaurant when I am back in kamloops🥰🥰🥰

The chicken is so crispy and delicious and there are so many different flavor options but the yang nyeum was my favourite, perfect amount of spice. The korean corn dogs were also out of this world, so delicious. Hands down the best place in Kamloops to get fried chicken. The service was quick and the staff are wonderful. I would recommend this place to absolutely everyone. It's a local gem.

We ordered the Honey and Yang Nyeum chicken for the very first time and WOW! i am so impressed with how AMAZING it was!! They both were juicy and crispy and the flavour was definitely there! The fries are so crispy and light and the doughnuts are just 🤤 If you haven’t tried it why are you waiting?!

I got half size hot fried chicken and use stamp card to get free half size origin fried chicken. why one is small box and both seems less volume as usual? Just wondering.

Pretty hidden since it was stationed inside of a food court but server was polite and made sure my partner and I's order was correct. Food court was dingy but clean. We only tried the chicken but my partner opted for an additional fried corn dog as she always wanted to try one. Chicken was nice and juicy and the sauces complimented greatly. Although the prices were exorbitant, the chicken itself is much closer to real Korean fried chicken than most Korean fried chicken around northern BC. Still wouldn't say it's worth it. The corn dog on the other hand was a massive disappointment. It was huge which left an initially good impression on us but after biting into it, my partner found out that the actual hot dog inside was only around an inch long and dry. Over half of the inside was hollow and the thing costed nearly 10 dollars. The surrounding batter was okay but definitely a slap in the face for deep fried corn dog lovers. Overall the food was not worth it for the crazy prices. The chicken almost saved it but $13/$14 for 5 pieces and a handful of fries is laughable.

The best fried chicken in Kamloops… actually the best fried chicken Ive ever had! Before Kamloops I lived in Vancouver for 10 years… Id have to say Ive never had chicken as good as Tongdak’s chicken despite all the Korean restaurants that offer it there. Im hooked. They also offer plenty of tasty options other than fried chicken. They have their own delivery, Ive ordered off doordash every time but next time Ill deffinitley give their delivery a try. Would much rather give them the business then a large corporation as it seems the owners work very hard and are passionate about what they do. Give them a try and you will not be dissapointed.

one of the best korean fried chicken places ive been to. we got the sweet & sour chicken, cheese chicken burger, cheese balls, and tteokbokki — and all the items tasted great. hands down would recommend this place if you’re craving fried chicken or just looking for a great meal.

The chicken is soooo tender inside and crispy on the outside, and the sauces are very flavourful. Some of the best Korean fried chicken I’ve had. The owners are very friendly and pleasant. The store is located in a run down food court where under housed individuals get into conflict with security so atmosphere isn’t the greatest for dining in.
