Our girl loved it! She's a tad scared of waves, but with the tide out she dived in further than she has ever been! Not the closest place for us, but definitely going back

Our Dog enjoy to play in the beach with other dog.. Must bring some towel so you can dry your dog feet after playing in the beach.

Small area of ocean access sandwiched between a water fowl protected area and the people beach. Parking is free but incredibly busy on weekends. Avoid mid or high tide times as 1) there isn’t much of a beach at all, 2) it can get very busy especially on weekends and 3) most dogs we’ve encountered here are not very well trained or behaved. The sand is very a very fine silt so is difficult to rinse out of dog fur. The water is warmer than other beaches due to it being so shallow and on a low low tide you can walk out about 200 metres without touching water. It’s very mucky at low tide due to the fine silt.

Good spot for photos here in the grass. The cottonwood was crazy though, so during allergy season be mindful of that.

Great spot for the dogs to enjoy the beach off leash and grab a bite to eat at crescent beach after.

Great beach for dogs and families. Lots of area to play and let dogs run freely in/near the water. Bathrooms nearby, parking nearby. Great place to go for a walk, have a picnic, play in the water.
