A great place to visit. Many temples dedicated to deities are situated here. Shiva, Durga and many more are worshipped here. In Durga Puja, special celebration is done here with great pomp and joy. Many people from Burnpur and Asansol, and also from the neighbouring locations visit here every year to witness the Holy Goddess.

Shiva which is Rudra form of God beloved and devoted by Hindus. πŸ•‰οΈShiva a nocturnal nd Devine hermit use to live in Kailash mountain as per believe. Which is also a Mysterious place. Since our knowledge..still now no one can climb Kailash. It has the same hight as pyramid in Egypt. When ice store up it automatically forms thee shape of OM πŸ•‰οΈ. Some researchers tried their level best to πŸŒΏπŸƒunveil the mystery of Kailash but failed. Thus God Shiva play's a great role in Hindus. Bari maidan Shiva temple is a creation of hindu culture nd crafted with Japanese architecture. The Shiva linga is slightly reddish nd big in size. It associated with nandi(the holy bull πŸ‚) just outside the temple.Mahashivaratri is being celebrated here with great enthusiasm. DATURA FASTOSA or the Dhutura flower is a must nd the gummy Akanda in Garland shape is often seen. The people of Burnpur loved this place for its peaceful surroundings. In evening hours Shandha arati nd bhajan kirtaan is a enjoyable thing here. And of course Prasada is a addition it contains blessing of Lord Shiva. Also charnamrita(the foot washed water of Lord Shiva) is a must. Shanti jaal which is sprinkled over heads of visitors for peace of mind nd harmony. This Bari maydaan is a great place in Burnpur .
