Do not stay here!!! We checked in and only stayed for 3 hours before checking out after finding mold EVERYWHERE. We spoke with 2 different employees about this and we were told the manager could only offer us a 20% refund, that we haven’t even gotten!! The lady said she went to look at the room but someone already cleaned and she only saw a few “small areas”. Aside from the mold the room was just gross. You had to lay a towel in the shower to even feel remotely safe getting into it. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Disgusting.

Staff was nice but my room was not well maintained, so whoever is in charge of maintenance gets 0 stars. First thing noticed was the TV remote did not work, second, the refrigerator wobbled and did not work properly, adjustment nob on the fridge was broken so my food was only "cool" but wouldn't get cold. Thirdly, the stuffed tissue paper stuffed in the upper corner of the bathroom ceiling to apparently fill a whole was not a crafty fix. Fourth, spilled some water on the floor and took an extra bathroom towel to dry and the towel quickly became a dirty brown from the filthy carpet. The bed mattresses were not enclosed with a protective cover. Seeing how the rest of the hotel was maintained made me question the food preparation area so I opted out of the complimentary breakfast. I stayed here for 3 nights and had another 7 days booked. Needless to say I canceled my stay and went elsewhere. This hotel is not very clean or very well maintained, complete turnoff for me and I was glad when my stay was over. People on staff were friendly but that doesn't earn a hotel 5 stars.

1 - Hotel is good, a good impression when you walk into the hotel and your room. 2 - Breakfast was reasonable. 3 - The Hotel was out of body lotion for both of the days of our stay and they could not even get it in 2 days time. 4 - There was no room service done during the stay, not even to empty the garbage can. I called the reception once we got back to the hotel after spending the day outside. They said that they only do weekly room service and nothing for short stays. We have a kid and there were diapers in the trash and the bath room was stinky and they just said no. I told them can you send us some toiletries and towels as we are out of them and someone should pick up the used ones and they just said to come to the reception to get fresh towels but they won't pick up the dirty ones. Even if they are not doing full room service, they must do basic every day. Beds may not be made but they should pick up the trash and used towels and replenish toiletries and fresh towels.

“The service at this hotel was exceptional. There was absolutely no issue that was not addressed timely and with satisfactory results. We were particularly impressed with how the hotel staff anticipated our needs. The quality of the service and overall positive attitude toward the my wife and I during our staycation was impressive. Particular noteworthy is the longevity of the staff and that sense of investment in the success of the property. I usually offer suggestions for improvements, but there is absolutely nothing that could be improved – you have set the bar very high.”

This hotel is great value for the money. Great location, clean rooms, and fair amenities like hot breakfast and fitness center. The room was clean. There was microwave, mini fridge, table, chair, coffee machine etc. But the bathroom was not clean. It had a huge stain on the toilet tub. The floor was sticky and dirty. You could see dried urine stains on the floor. There was also a continuous noise coming from hallways and rooms all night long. People argue, fight and speak on their phones very loud all night long. Loud thumping sound from upstairs all night long. I overall recommend the hotel if you don't care about noise and sketchy people smoking weird smelling stuff and drinking at any time of the day.

The lady that checked me in her name was Lux. She had the best personality, wonderful smile, and very courteous . If she is not the manager, she needs to be!!! The room was very clean and tidy. I have paid 3 times the price for rooms this nice. The breakfast was the best I've had in a long while for a hotel continental breakfast. My only complaint was the pillows. They were very small and like sleeping on a brick.

This is literally one of the best hotels I've stayed at. My husband and I journey often around Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. This stay is in my top 2. The beds are comfy, the shower is amazing. I loved everything.

Nice property. Clean, modern and well maintained. The premium room we had was spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast with hot and cold items. Nice value. Staff was welcoming and courteous. Would stay here again

Can't say enough about how great the staff was and how comfortable the room was. I would definitely stay here again. I had a king room, and the room itself was rather small. But perfect for a single person with not a lot of luggage. I probably wouldn't recommend for a couple that was going to be in town for a while. I would recommend a broader selection for breakfast. Was pretty much only carbs: cereal, bread products. One package of hard boiled eggs in the fridge. Maybe add some yogurt as an option. Milk? Overall though, great stay.

Very friendly staff, and easy access to the highway. The rooms had recently been updated, but it did not hide the fact that the building is very old. The shower head is only about 4'5" so we had to duck to wash. The rooms were not terrible, but definitely not the cleanest I have ever seen. The prices, however, were reasonable, and the breakfast was good.

Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff. The location was very convenient with a great restaurant next door. Room and bathroom are on the smaller side, but fine for sleeping. There was some small mold in our bathroom from a recent leak, staff was notified and they said they were going to mark the room unavailable and remediate when we left the next day.

Everyone is friendly but where things got rocky is no one told us anything at check in other then when breakfast was. There is an area for trash and instead of training their staff properly they would rather you take the warning and have no repercussions for their staff and not properly doing things. I understand staffing isn’t the easiest now but just because they show up doesn’t mean they are going to do their job properly and because your not going to take the steps to correct mistakes I will not be staying here again sad the way the work field is going and letting people not have standards for staff! I shouldn’t get attitude front the receptionist when bringing a problem to light.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable! Good breakfast in the morning with a couple of hot foods to go with the usual continental style Be aware that they collect a refundable $50 fee, I'm addition to the room rate, when you check in to cover potential damages. Never saw this mentioned when booking online. Feels a bit shady, but what can you do?

The room was okay, the hot tub was nice being in the corner of the room. The other location we stayed at was much nicer. The rugs felt dampish and the under the bed had old rose petals. The little corner area with the fridge had to foil on top of the crack area. Used to be a housekeeper, I always look over rooms to make sure they're good.

We stayed at the hotel for several nights. The room as a whole was a bit dirty. There was loose hair all over the shower and the “clean” linens. The walls were paper thin so we could hear a kid screaming down the hall all hours of the day and night. It constantly smelled like weed. We ended up getting our own breakfast because the free breakfast was cold and tasted bad (I usually enjoy continental breakfast at hotels). The person who checked us in at the front seemed very nice.

My favorite hotel yet, super friendly staff, rooms were very nice and clean, the breakfast room had more of a little Cafe feel and lots of breakfast options. Only flaw is the area for dogs to go to bathroom is all rocks unless you go to small grass part by restaurant, and my dogs didn't like walking on the rocks. Other then that perfect.

This hotel and ESPECIALLY ITS STAFF under the leadership of General Manager Melissa both impresses and embarrasses. In some instances there were some standouts like the lady who prepares breakfast. She is professional, clearly enjoys her job and deserves kudos for her performance. Then you have the housekeeper who decided it made sense to knock on my door at 8am Sunday morning to tell me my room was 'listed as vacant and unclean" as if I owed her an explanation or frankly that I had any idea what that meant. She went on to passive aggressively tell me I had to take the bag of trash i had left outside my door downstairs or I would be charged $10 per day in spite of the fact I had been in the room for 2 days at that point and had not seen a housekeeper once to change it and she could have easily dropped the bag in her trash can when she walked past it. I initially paid the hotel for one night which should have been approximately $125 but they started out with a $140 hold then a $75 hold, two $55 holds, two $139.50 and a $278 hold all of which tied up the money in my checking account. That was a nightmare. I used the hotel's $2 pay washing machine and it did not spin leaving my clothes drenched in water. I reported this to front desk and asked for a refund so I could wash my clothes in the functioning washing machine but she said she was new and wasn't able to do that but that I could talk to the manager the next day. When I spoke to Melissa this morning she was completely dismissive about my refund told me that the hotel didn't on the washing machines but then said they did but then eventually settled on some outside company owning them and said that she would have to contact the company but the sense that I got was that she planned on doing nothing about it and that she just wanted to get me off the phone and that I would never hear anything from her again. So I found the hotel to be nice as far as a facility goes. Obviously you can tell that from the top down there's an attitude issue that needs to be addressed. I would suggest to the hotels take a look at what sort of example the manager sets for her employees.

Very clean and conveniently located hotel just to the south of Minneapolis andminutesaway from The Mall of America. The property is next to a fun restaurant Clive's Roadhouse and a Denny's. There is also a gas station at the end of the street. They feature an above average breakfast buffet with eggs, rotating meat, cereals, breakfast pastries and fruits. You definitely could do a lot worse with your choice of a hotel. I have stayed here multiple times without an issue. The staff is always friendly.

The room was clean and everything worked as it should. We had great customer service upon check in and at breakfast. The cost of the room is a great value for how clean and quiet it is. I will always choose a LivInn hotel if there is one available in the area I'm staying. Never had a bad experience with them. The rooms are not fancy and are smaller than the average room I've stayed in and the shower could use updating but again hot water and worked great.

Stayed here for an overnight stay recently.. honestly I am not one to write reviews but I was highly disappointed with my stay. Cleanliness was a huge issue for me my room was pretty dirty.. carpet didn’t look like it was vacuumed there was brown dirty residue on the wood where the refrigerator was.. bathroom was pretty gross it had stains in the sink and urine stains behind the toilet. Only thing that really seemed cleaned to me was the sheets, one more thing is that it was also very loud no insulation inside the rooms so you could hear everything especially people shutting their doors in the hall and walking up and down and talking. One positive I would say was the breakfast was pretty decent! All in all I would not stay here again.

I had a hot tube room and it was very nice. Roomy, clean, and had what we needed right at hand. All the phones had space to charge and a smaller screen in a nook to hook up a game console or laptop for your particular needs is super convenient! It was quiet and the parking was easy and close! A nice restaurant/bar next door and a couple choices for convenience/fuel a mere few blocks away. Exit for I35W just as close. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Overall a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for other travelers. The breakfast menu is a typically American one with a choice of eggs, cereals, pancakes and toast, bagels, and cupcakes. Options of coffee, tea, milk, and juices are available. What's more, seasonally available fruit are also available. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the hallways smells good and when you enter the hotel.

This is the Worst hotel I ever stayed amongst all thirty to forty different hotels this year. When checking into this hotel, I was also charged a one hundred dollars deposit for incidentals and was told it will be refunded when checking out. I was assigned to a room in the first floor, it had very bad muddy smells on its carpet. After talking with the only front desk lady, she reluctantly moved me to a room on the second floor. Ok, smell is better. Although it still smells like smoking or rotten or mold carpet. It's a one night stay any way and I was too tired to change another room or go to other hotels. Next morning at 9 we went to breakfast areas and found there was nothing left although free continental breakfast is not supposed to close until 930. We had to wait 15 minutes to find a housekeeper to bring out several mere basic items. Finally got it done, checked out and told we are good to go and deposit will be refunded in two days. This is lie! Deposit was never returned. DO NOT BOOK OR STAY IN THIS HOTEL, unless all nearby hotels are absolutely full.

Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location! Convenient to everywhere we needed to go and we felt safe staying there while on our girls weekend. Will definitely be back.

Great hotel. The one downside was having to wait for our room to be cleaned for 20 minutes even though it was 8 pm. Check in was 3 although this was the State Fair weekend so I am trying to be mindful of this. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The price is fantastic and the location is great as well. I'd plan to stay here again.

I stayed here because I need to charge my car. Typically I go to a place, plug in- once it works, I get the room. Never had any issue doing so,but here, you need a room key to charge. Seemed reasonable. I go in, explain I need to charge as a condition of using this hotel. The front desk says it works. It does not work. They are charging for an amenity they do not provide, and will not give money back on the room. Go somewhere else if you need a charge.

Not a whole lot immediately around but rooms are clean and quiet and price has always been reasonable and close to freeway and is my preferred hotel when coming to Minneapolis.

If I could give this hotel less than 1 star I would. The bedsheet in the hotel was dirty and when we brought it up to the staff they immediately dismissed our complaints and verbally abused us. The staff was very rude and disrespectful to me and my mother (specifically Asha who constantly tried to provoke us even when we were done speaking to her). I would never stay at this hotel again and if you like peace, I recommend you don't either.

Awful prices for a very very very tiny room! We stayed at same place a year ago... boy it was cheaper and with the typical room size for a single king. We booked/paid 3 weeks early, paying 50% more. We arrived, checking in and informed we have to pay a deposit... on a pre-paid room! A frustrating dealio :( The room was on first floor.. half the size of the other room. King bed still with just enuf room for a small desk chair and desk. A 6' X 5' bathroom.

Very nice place. Great breakfast. A good room with comfortable beds. I was a little puzzled why the microwave was in a place where it had no plugin, but that was a very small issue.
