I lived here from summer 2014 to January 2016. We signed a lease for the first year but did not sign a new lease for the second year which in the lease states you then become month to month. We ended up buying a house and gave 2 months notice and they would not accept it. They said even though we didn’t sign it’s still a full year and you are stuck on the lease and paying until they find someone else to rent. READ THE FINE PRINT!!!! We hand so many issues with our unit. The bathroom floor was rotten and falling apart. When being fixed the maintenance guy walked into my bedroom and my door was shut tight. I was actually in my room when he walked in and he just walked out and never said anything and the Office didn’t care or do anything. They never did anything with the wet ceiling in the bathroom below so it was still nasty. Then the washer broke and flooded the living room/hallway below and it was on a weekend night and they said it wasn’t an emergency as Water is flooding our place. Then to fix the ceiling is the same guy who walked in on me who I said was not allowed in our place. Then he proceeded to brake my picture frame on the wall that had my daughters pictures in and left a note with $5. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Maintenance and the office were always rude and disrespectful. I would never recommend anyone for any property owned by them. They are cheap and rip you off.

Berkshire townhomes are nice especially one particular maintenance guy named Luke he came to repair something in my unit and did a wonderful job he never complained he's a very kind and a great worker and he is very patient. He's neat with his task and kind thanks Berkshire for having such a great worker to help us out and thank you Luke.

My roomates and I lived here for 2 years. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Any needs we had were taken care of in a timely and professional manner. Sure they aren't the nicest places but they are affordable for what you get. When we moved out, we kept the place clean and nice so we received most of our deposit back. Anyone who had an issue with this place must have been a horrible tenant. I have no complaints and would recommend this place if you want to live in this area.

Wish I didnt have to go! Lived at berkshire for a year. Constantly updating the appearance. Berkshire is very good at implementing hospitality in small ways. Upon move in a welcome basket was ready, they loaned me tools to hang new curtains, are thankful around the holidays and always friendly! I never heard neighbors unless they were In their garage. The office staff are always willing to work with you and personal. Maintenance was never needed but when things were scheduled to happen to the whole grounds, they typically were days late without notifying. Children are always running around, which is not a bad thing as others describe, its a family based neighborhood therefore, feeling safe. A good location if you travel often. A great place to live!

I love Berkshire and the people they have working here! The leasing and maintenance staff are amazing! I have had a few things that needed fixing and those were taken care of immediately. Quiet, clean, well landscaped area, and plenty of room in my townhouse for my daughter and me. Great place to live!

Lived here for only 3 months but my family loves it here. Felt welcome by Jill and her staff team. Also maintenance is pretty quick here on things. Moved from renting a house to renting a town house. We love the change and love the lay out. Also 2 parks with in 10-12 minutes walking distance.

Maintenance team is wonderful! Very responsive and helpful. Management is also great, especially Jill! I work in the leasing industry, so living at a place that is well-managed is very important to me! We love our 2 bedroom town home and feel very at-home here.

I moved to Berkshire townhomes about 3 months ago and I love my townhome it is exactly what I was looking for. laundry, spacious rooms and kitchen. The townhomes are a little pricey but its like that everywhere in the south metro. Jill and her staff are great, they respond quickly to concerns and resolve issues quickly. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because of the smoking policy here. More guidelines should be put in place for smokers. If your going to smoke you should smoke in your home or on your balcony or another designated area. It causes health risk for others who have underlying health conditions and it looks kind of trashy when visitors come and everyone is outside in lawn chairs smoking. The property is kept up nice and its close to restaurants and right off the high way for an easy commute to work. So far so good.
