At Peak Running I was treated with great respect and kindness. The woman that assisted me was very polite. She was knowledgeable of the product, and brought out the right shoes for me. Highly recommended to all.

I recently had purchased a pair of running shoes from the Peak Running Shoes store in Burr Ridge, Illinois. Because of multiple foot surgeries, I had a rather difficult foot to fit. The Burr Ridge team worked with me to find a pair of Brooks shoes I thought would work. After testing the shoes for a few weeks I found the shoes did not work for me. The Burr Ridge team very willingly supplied me with a replacement pair of a different type of shoe. A customer who came after my purchase had recently ordered three pairs of shoes and said that he did not need to try them on because he purchases multiple pairs of shoes each year and only shops there. I am thoroughly pleased with the way the staff and Owner had treated my requests. I think their shoes are excellent and reasonably priced and the service is terrific. I had the best experience at this place. For years I have not had the right shoes for running and working out which had often discouraged me to keep up with my routine. When I visited Peak Running I expected to get a recommendation based on what’s popular for the type of fitness activity I do, but instead I had my walking assessed. This allowed the sales person to pair me with something specific to the weight distribution on my feet. I love my new shoes and have not had any problems I have previously had while working out! AND the shoes were cheaper than the brand I I totally told I was interested in. All around a great experience!

Owner is super friendly and very helpful. Although she was all by herself and many customers walked in but she attended everyone with a smile. I went to get one pair of shoes but ended up buying three!!

Came in on a whim needing better walking shoes postpartum. I received wonderful one-on-one service with a variety of shoe options provided, along with gait analysis. The associate was so helpful (unfortunately I've since forgotten his name) and I got to wear my new kicks out of the store so that they could recycle my old sneakers. Definitely recommend Peak Running if you are looking for new shoes! Support local business :)

My feet were in a lot of pain after running so I decided to get a new pair of running shoes. Someone recommended this store to me so I figured I would give them a try - best decision I have made with selecting a shoe. Staff is very knowledgeable, they measure your foot, check your running posture on their treadmill, and then recommend multiple pairs of shoes they think work for you. You get to try them on and run outside or on the treadmill to really see how they feel. Found a pair that felt like night and day on my feet, next time I ran all of my pain was gone. If you have any hesitations, just go try on a few pairs!

The staff at Peak Running are some of the most knowledgeable and caring in the business. As a physical therapist, I refer my runners there all the time for shoe fittings. They are the best. Highly recommend all their store for your running footwear, apparel, and nutrition needs!

Peak Running is the absolute best. They’ve introduced me to Topos, some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Every employee is patient and wants to be sure to get it right. I had to trade in shoes twice, and they were more than accommodating when it comes to spending time finding a better shoe for my foot. Will continue to purchase from here as long as I’m local!

I came into this place with a couple hours before a flight to Paris needing shoes that could get me through non stop walking accross the city. Jen G was awesome! I talked to her about needing zero drop shoes with a wider toe box, she was so quick to offer multiple great options and talked me through the differences between each shoe. She has a wealth of knowledge and knows the inventory like the back of her hand (seriously she knows the difference in drop between brands on cue, in mm!) A truly excellent experience being a customer here, I left with plenty of time for my flight with an excellent pair of shoes that performed great for miles and miles in a new city. Amazing store! Finally found somewhere that not only has an AMAZING selection of shoes but also has small women's sizes. I had the pleasure of working with Tiffany, and she was an absolute gem. Very helpful, gave great advice about the marathon experience and helpful tips on products in their store. Very accommodating and would highly recommend!

They have a great selection of shoes from the big brands to the smaller unique brands. The staff did their full gait analysis and fitted me for the right shoes. Staff was very knowledgeable about all types of running. They were super helpful. They also have a great run club that meets twice a week.

I came in recently for a pair of running shoes. I just got into running and had no idea what kind of shoe would be right for me. Jen greeted me warmly, asked questions, sized my feet, and came back with a handful of recommendations to try out. Other guests came in the store, and she did a wonderful job helping everyone simultaneously all while being patient and super attentive. I decided on a pair of OnClouds, but they didn’t have my size in stock. Jen called around to find the right size at a different location, so I couldn’t make my purchase here. But Jen took the time to help me find the perfect shoe. I’ve been using them for several weeks now, and these shoes have really changed the game for me! I’m very happy with my purchase.
