What works: Location is great. Venue is cool. Inside aesthetic is unique and stylish. Absolutely loved the beer range and the beer I had (American pale ale) was 5 stars. Good background music and vibes. What needs work: $27 for their signature burger was an absolute joke. For that price I expected great things... But I was served disappointment. The burger is half the size it needs to be for that price. It had no flavour. Needed a special sauce. Could barely taste the pickles. The bun was lacking and looked burnt or something... Off putting. Whole thing was terrible. I'd go back for beers and vibes, not for a feed.

Where to begin. Positive note: the staff are great. Can't fault them at all. Besides serving a G&T with no straw and no lime.. literally looked like a glass of water. Fail. Butttttt the beer paddle was on point. Props to the selection. Now the food... everything was pretty bad. I'm not sure if the chef has been changed or what. But I've been here a few times before and the food's been passable. This time just no. The squid was served with a "whipped kimchi mayo". It looked like scrambled eggs and had the consistency of a child's slime. Pretty gross. The kimchi was weirdly sweet and 100% did not compliment the squid, which was also a bit tough. Truffle pizza lacked any truffle flavour. And the jamon chorizo pizza lacked flavour in general. Chorizo was generously portioned but then became way too salty. We asked for some chilli flakes to bring some form of feeling back to our palates but all they had was a hot sauce which was more vinegary then anything. The cocktails were so sickly sweet we left all of them half drunk. Especially the dragon one. That was seriously undrinkable. Please fix everything. I used to love this establishment but I'm now reconsidering my life choices.

Went there yesterday with the family, it's a great play area and beer garden and the Margareta pizza has fresh quality ingredients, son loved it. Only downside that costed us $160 extra was a parking ticket we found when we left. Please be careful as there are lots of places with no signage saying if it's allowed or not especially near blasta. Blasta, could u please put up a sign outside for patrons to be careful about parking so it doesn't keep happening. Your car park is too small for the size of Ur venue and people end up needing street parking which can have a nasty surprise. First visit post covid restrictions and it was Great to see that they were busy and Brewing great beers and serving up great food as normal. Great beer selection (6+ types) with a wonderfully appointed huge brewery with an indoor beer hall and a large outdoor seating area with kids play area. The special aspect of this brewery is that they give u more beer than other places . Their glasses are larger to give u a “fair pour” . Nice spot , easy to find , just off great eastern highway. Have come. Back here 9 months later and things have only gotten better. Almost all the beer selections are different. They now have canned beer to take away and the staff are as knowledgeable as ever. Very helpful for a beer aficionado like me.

Blasta are now offering a Vegan/Vegetarian menu every Monday! They also have an amazing selection of beers and ciders which are all vegan friendly. Blasta have a spacious indoor area, and a large outdoor partially-shaded area which is pet friendly. The outdoor area also has a sandpit with lots of toys, making it a great place for the whole family to visit. I tried out three items from their Meat-Free Menu: -Classic parmigiana featuring 100% not chicken, topped with pomodoro, charred eggplant and zucchini, vegan cheese, served with chips and aioli -Smoked 5 bean nachos - this had a generous amount of toppings including vegan cheese, sour cream and guac -Cauliflower tacos - roasted cauliflower, slaw, vegan mayo and tahini My favorite dish was easily the parmigiana, the chick’n was beautifully crispy, there was a decent amount of melty cheese, and I loved the charred veggies on top. Overall extremely delicious!

Great beer range, but that’s where it ends. Thought I would lash out on the expensive scotch fillet $46 and ordered it rare ($12 more than anything else on the menu). I was hoping for a thick juicy rare steak. Instead received a thin overcooked frisbee with boiled broccolini (definitely not charred as the menu claimed). The photo is the pinkest slice I could find. Drink their beer, but eat elsewhere.

Nice out of the way brewery restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Good brews and grub. A few more vegan options would be great. 🍻

Nice venue. Staff are really fantastic. Can't fault them. Great to see the old concrete wash troughs from yesteryear. Food is good. Pizzas are crunchy and topped well. Chips are amazing. Disappointed greatly to see the cocktails section is all packed away early. Apparently a management decision as staff said they were just doing as they were told. Here we were, 8 of us ordering cocktails with the intention of going til closing with them, and out of the blue, 9pm and sorry but all the cocktail ingredients packed away. No mention of this on the drinks menu. Staff said most of the time it's normally packed away at 8pm. So there it is. A pub that only gets 3 stars because they pack revenue away for the night!

We enjoyed our visit but were left disappointed due to the food. Beers were 10/10. Ordered the prosciutto pizza and were disappointed with the quantity of the topping. The pizza did taste delicious for the slices that had prosciutto but as we were sharing, a number of slices had no topping. We would visit the previous venue approx once a month. Not sure if this is the new standard or if we lucked out. Emailed to enquire for next time but never received a response. Haven't returned since as don't want to risk a let down.

Reviews I checked up on before we came here on a 5 day hiatus from Melbourne did not disappoint. This place deserves its 5 star reviews. We shared 4 snack plates between us (2) and left immensely happy. The haggis spring roll is unique and deserving of all reviews. The lamb ribs stood out for falling-off-the-bone tender with glaze sticky and finger licking good....sooo 😋. The beers are unique...try the Fruit on Fire for a strawberry, pineapple and lime with a dash of jalapeños which add some warmth to this sour. If you ask they will offer samplers before you make up your mind. See my attached photo 😊

Don't know if teething problems at their new site but notably a BAD experience.. review is in relation to breakfast. When they were at their old site, the breakfast was inconsistent.. but tolerable and staff were a smidge friendlier. Tried their new site's breakfast and waited over 45 minutes for my breakfast when the other mates waited only 10 mins for their food. And it was not even busy!! Staff here had attitude, when i highlighted that i've been waiting 40 mins for my food, she (lady with short blonde hair, tied back) just non chalant shrugged her shoulders and said oh yes, the bell just rang. No apology or acknowledgement of the long wait. Only 2 dishes came out and then had to wait another 10+ mins for the last dish. 2x Friends' toasts were hard, stale and burnt. Was going to come back next week with family but will be avoiding this place like the plague. The previous breakfast area had kids playground access but this new cafe has none. Also a nice interior will not save this place. And it was only 10am and it was HOT in the Cafe area, with no sign of air-conditioning. I was going to get some beer here for takeaway over the Xmas break but decided against this because I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. It's the end of an era for Blasta. It's no longer serving the good vibes that it had at its previous location. Used to frequent this place A LOT over half a decade, but things have clearly changed for the worse. P.s. that thing in the photo is meant to be a sweet potato rosti. That thing is leathery and dry, and is a shameful iteration of a rosti. I would imagine that prison food would be a lot more palatable and moist

I get that they’ve gone for the big open industrial vibe in the new space, but spare a thought for airflow for goodness sakes. Made the mistake of going for a couple end of year drinks with friends, sat inside down the end. Only airflow was a tiny desk fan on rotation. Was an oven with all the glass and zero windows. Outside didn’t have sufficient shading either. I’d recommend investing in 100% shade sail coverage outside rather than having to try and huddle under a circular umbrella. QR code drinks menu also needs fixing. Can only buy a can of soft drink on the app but can order a jug at the bar..?

Thank you so much Blasta Brewing. A little playgroup to keep the kids busy and happy, food was very good, nice beer & great service. I left my son’s shoes under the table, only realised the next day, went back there, the staffs actually kept it for me under the counter! Omg, thank you so much again.

We have previously been to Blasto’s before they moved to bigger premises and loved it! We had booked a table and didn’t realise that they had moved. We were not the only ones that had gone to the old address. We eventually found where they had moved to further down Goodwood Parade. We found our table which was high one. Great for having drinks on but not for a meal. Another downside was our table was in a walkway so it made it very noisy. We were told that we could order on the app or go up to the bar and order via the menu. We thought that it would be quicker to order from the app as the queue at the bar was long and busy. It turns out you can order everything but a cocktail on the app! We couldn’t get our order to go through on the app so had to queue up at the bar which wasn’t ideal. I am gluten free and didn’t feel That the new menu had much variety for me. They have a great beer garden and a playground for the kids. Dogs are also welcome outside.

Great brewery hidden away behind the Burswood Casino. Great beer and pub food at decent prices. I stopped by for a sneaky beer and chips. Fast service and nice casual atmosphere not too loud.

Awesome spot with multiple dining areas, fantastic service with big smiles, great food on offer and most impotantly the Beer definitely hit the spot. Sampled a few brews but ultimately going with the "Steady Heady" as i was driving. Definielty worth checking out and looks like a awesome spot to host a function too. I will be back very soon🍻
