Not
a
great
experience
at
Maiwand
Grill.
My
family
and
I
ordered
takeout
which
happened
to
be
identical
to
a
previously
made,
online
takeout
order
that
was
sitting
on
the
counter
waiting
for
pickup.
We
were
told
that
the
completed
order
was
for
another
customer
and
were
assured
that
a
new
batch
of
food
would
be
made
for
us.
We
waited
in
the
seating
area
for
at
least
30
minutes
for
food
to
come
out
only
for
me
to
watch
from
a
distance
as
the
old
order
(which
was
never
picked
up)
was
packed
in
a
bag
with
naan
and
given
to
my
mother.
I
should
have
spoken
up
at
the
time,
but
the
audacity
of
the
business
practice,
especially
after
waiting
for
so
long,
was
too
extreme
for
me
to
process
in
the
moment.
When
we
got
home
to
eat
the
food,
of
course
it
was
cold.
No
sauce
came
with
the
lamb
ordered
and
the
naan
was
sloppily
made
as
they
had
large
rips
and
pieces
of
black
charcoal
still
attached
to
them
(most
of
which
needed
to
be
picked
off
using
my
finger
nails).
The
food
itself
was
pretty
good
despite
me
having
to
microwave
it.
I
really
wanted
to
like
this
local
restaurant,
but
sadly
I
won't
be
returning
unless
they
get
better
organized
behind
the
counter
and
become
more
considerate
of
their
customers.
There
are
plenty
of
other
restaurants
to
patronize
next
door.
