The Royal Palm hotel has changed the name now to Atrium Restaurant and it is one of the best highly recommended and rated in terms of appreciation, accessibility, services and staff members. The atmosphere is quiet private and with the huge and beautiful garden near the beautiful lake Tanganyika .you can't ask more for a romantic dinner or weekend

I rate 5 stars and if there was 7 I would just rate 7. I like this place for it is clean and calm. The garden is just lovely (perfect for pictures). It is an upscale hotel and yes "akeza karigura" (Kirundi Proverb). I have not tasted any meals, I only go there to take pictures.

Has very nice food with intercontinental cuisine and beautiful gardens. Good for dinner, parties and photo shoot.

It took them 2H30 MIN to bring food. I went there twice. They like to take their time. Not recommended.

I can't get over the beauty of this place especially during the setting sun and at sunrise. The service is very personal and its location by Lake Tanganyika is exquisitely beautiful. I had to pinch myself because it didn't feel like Burundi or Africa - rather like parts of Spain, Switzerland or Cape Town in South Africa.

Beautiful place for a lunch in Bujumbura! The food was delicious especially the fish. Thoroughly enjoyed this special location and food spot.

Wonderful food, lovely hosts and hostesses, very serene and wonderful picturesque sights of the hills in the Congo, Lake Tanganyika.....simply magical!

It's a wonderful experience again and again to dine and wine at the Atrium restaurant. Excellent dishes prepared by a chef from Senegal and wine from Germany. The service is attentive, well trained and polite. The location is an excellent location with a direct view of the lake Tanyanika. A heaven on earth.
