Hospitality is when someone feels at home and the "Village Hotel" is a perfect example of a "Home away from Home" . Situated in the centre of the city it comprises of 28 fully equipped rooms . The categories include Standard Rooms / Double or Deluxe Rooms and Suite . The rates here one of the lowest if someone compares it with other properties around in the market. The room rate includes Wifi, Swimming Pool and Breakfast as complimentary services . The breakfast includes local fruits, bread, pancakes, omelette, fresh juice and some other dished of veg and meat which they keep changing in regular basis. The breakfast timing is 6 AM to 9:30 AM It accepts payment in USD / Euro , Visa Card / Master Card and Burundi Francs only for Burundians. The check in time is 11:00 AM and Check Out is 12 :00 PM which is flexible for somewhere around 2 hours after or before which is an added advantage . All the rooms have bed with mosquito net , air condition , television, fridge, safe deposit, fridge , geyser for hot water , reading lamp, laundry bag etc as per basic standard requirements with private bathroom in each room. The laundry timing is 7 AM to 3 PM The hotel has a restaurant " Taj Mahal Restaurant " just adjacent to it owned by the same Indian owner which offers a range of Indian , Continental , local and Chinese dishes so someone who wants to have a dinner or lunch outside can consider it as an option. If someone is looking for a budget property with standard requirements at a quiet place in the centre this place should be at the top of his list .

If ever anyone wants to visit Burundi in East Africa one should stay in this hotel. It is more like a resort than a normal hotel and the tariff is so affordable that it won't hurt the guest's pocket. This hotel is run by an Indian who is known in Burundi for his hospitality. Best thing is that it is very near to downtown and there is an Indian restaurant "Taj Mahal" which is adjacent to this hotel.
