Очень интересный музей. Тем более музеев в стране мало. Много интересных экспонатов по истории страны. Если будете в Гитеге, обязательно посетите.

Fine museum in Gitega (the political capital of Burundi ) detailing the life and history of the Burundians. You can use Wasili an Uber like taxi service in Burundi. The app is in Google play. It will cost BF 95000.00 one way to Gitega from Bujumbra. It takes 2.5 hours from Bujumbra anx it is windy road with many bad patches.

An interesting collection of artifacts and old pictures providing detailed insight into the lives and customs of the Burundi people before the colonial time. Yes, the presentation is a bit dated, but the curator, Jean Bosco, who speaks English very well, can tell you passionately about it. Not to be missed if you're truly interested in Burundi as a country!

A very old museum with lots of interesting artifacts and a curator who was interesting and enthusiastic about the history of Burundi. That said, not worth going out of your way to see unless you are specifically interested in Burundi history.

Great little local museum near the drum sanctuary. We stopped on the way, and my guide explained all the various items. Nice that they have something like this way out here.
