Visit here once a week usually perfect. Rang up tonight to ask what time they was open til and when they stopped serving food, advised 9pm they stopped serving. I arrived at 8:30pm to be rudely told the kitchen was shut as it was too quiet. The rude girl with a bad attitude kept advising ‘she’s only been told that’ and quite frankly wasn’t interested in the 35 minute drive it took me to get there. Left and could clearly see the girl at the end laughing. Overall attitude is disgusting and very disappointing.

Excellent value for money. Great choice of menu for me as a veggie. Great customer service too xx

A very nice place to chill with a drink or a nice cocktail . Or just have a bite to eat the pulled pork sandwich is to die for just pop in the morning eggs Benedict lovely for breakfast and if you want it as a brunch the serve it till 4pm

After being practically whisked to the Automatic on an Xmas meal with work, I was concerned that due to our party size we wouldn't receive the same level of service as 11 chickens in a trenchcoat pretending to be a fully grown adult. Just like when I thought that the moon was actually the underside of the sun, I was wrong. We were treated wonderfully, attended to by professional staff with nothing to lose and with hearts of bold. The food was almost perfect (the desserts leaving something to the imagination) and was served promptly and without piles of paperclips intermittently strewn throughout (which is always a bonus). All in all a great meal, with professional and friendly staff. I did see a customer sneeze into his hand then eat chicken wings but that can hardly be helped.

Automatic is immaculate, very well cleaned in-between customers. Maintenance of Covid cleaning evidenced throughout. Staff extremely helpful, polite and helpful (nothing is too much for them.) If you visit frequent enough they remember you by name. The menu is varied, something for everyone, elegantly served; price is value for money (and the servings are generous)... if you order the workers lunch, you will be served and in and out within the hour (which is great for not getting in trouble with your boss!) English breakfast served on Saturday 😋 Highly recommend 👌

Love Automatic. We visit often, and have had breakfast, lunch and evening meals there. Most recently we booked a table for mother's Day, and once again we were able to enjoy a meal without other diner's children disturbing the entire restaurant. The food is always hot, generous sized portions and tasty. Highly recommend the Automatic Fried Chicken with sweet potato fries. Good drinks list, cocktails are very good. Their spin on an espresso Martini is delicious. Service is always good without being obtrusive.

We love this one. The food is delicious, with some very good veggie and vegan variations on the classics. Service is very good, nothing is too much trouble without being obsequious. The coffee is perfect, and our breakfast sausage butties we're a treat; very tasty, quality sausages.

Food and service is always excellent. Menu seems to have shrunk a bit but I guess it's to reduce operating costs during these challenging times.

Went for a meals with 2 friends, ordered drinks, they didnt even have orange cordial, ordered food, all 3 of us ordered the fish, waiteress came back 10mins later & said we have no fish, very disappointed so paid for drinks & went elsewhere

Lovely setting and staff. Food was a disaster, no pizza with an egg on top which we came for, settled for Mongolian beef which came with chips for some reason, 4 mouthfuls and I was done. Went to the kebab shop over the road afterwards as I was that hungry.

Different to a few years ago, food was okay I had the club sandwich which had chicken and egg on it (but weird), sweet potato fries great. Staff were very friendly. Still one of the nicer places in bury but different to how it was 5 years ago

My partner and I often come to this restaurant, it's our absolute favourite. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff are attentive. I organised a surprise meal for his 30th birthday last weekend and the staff couldn't have made it more special if they'd tried. They helped me organise every detail and decorated the table beautifully. Even though we were a larger group the food all came out together and was delicious as always, my partner and all our guests had a wonderful time. Thanks again Automatic Cafe x

Personally I think Automatic is very expensive and the food is not worth the money. I only had fish and chips. The fish was ok. The 'chunky' chips were hard and dry and the mushy peas had brown bits in them, where I think they had caught on the bottom of the pan. The waiting staff were very polite, but as we were a party of 12, the meals didn't all come out at the same time. After 5 or so minutes the condiments were brought to the table. Too late really as half of us had to start eating unless we wanted cold food. Not impressed with the menu choices.

Haven't been for a while and remembered how much we enjoy going there. The service is always really and the food is great. As always, can't recommend it highly enough.

I have been to Automatic twice in a week. Once for lunch & Cocktails on a Thursday and once on a Saturday late afternoon with friends. Both times the food has been really nice. Three of us had the fish and chips lightly battered and we all really enjoyed it. The cocktails are 2 for 1 on a Thursday and Friday and they were fab. Much better than the ones at the Sky Bar further down the street. I have been other times with various friends and family. I would highly recommend Automatic. The staff are lovely and very efficient.
