Goeun Museum of Photography in Haeundae, where you can enjoy photography exhibitions

The objective of this Museum is quite admirable. If you are seriously interested in photography visit and take your time with this free museum.

I was pleasantly surprised by this gallery. The space itself is large and airy with a relaxing outdoor area. The gallery shop has some great items to purchase at reasonable prices. I'm also happy there's car parking available.

Small but packed photography space, with a small but very well stocked library downstairs, and a beautiful temporary exhibition upstairs. Worth a trip if you are in the area! To access the library you must fill in some paperwork, but it's in English and not a big hassle. Friendly staff will help. They will gloss over your lack of ARC too if you're a tourist ;) It's free and not very busy, which makes it even better.

Not far from Haeundae, if you want to feel the artistic atmosphere of Busan, I recommend coming here. It is a professional photography art museum. There is currently no admission fee. There is a photography library on the first floor with many photography books to browse. There is also a beautiful small garden on the second floor. , I highly recommend it if you like photography and seeing exhibitions!

It is one of the few art museums specializing in photography in Korea.

Great setting in an older type of house for this museum. The atmosphere is different than your conventional bigger museum. The girl at the entrance was very kind and the photographs are laid out nicely with a lot of space. Perhaps it misses some benches in the middle of the main room on the second floor.

Absolutely beautiful space with the most incredible exhibit of Hwang Gyutae's work.

Initimate photography museum with rotating exhibits of Korean and Western photographers

Nice small exposition museum. As said in the other comments it is indeed very small but the exposition is meaningful and the staff friendly. They gave me a free pin after I bought a pen to support their business.

Truly a hidden gem. The exhibition is small but really powerful. The photos make you stop and think for a while. I really enjoyed it on a rainy day.

Beautiful building! Best curated great exhibitions! Could stay there for hours. Also at the art space opposite the main building! A must to visit!

It’s great to see a museum pushing the boundaries of home-grown photographers. South Korean creators live and grow in a culture and society that’s baffling to outsiders. Galleries like these are a great launchpad and showcase for domestic creativity and reflection.

A small exhibition with around 40-50 prints. Free admission. Great to pass by if you are in the area and are interested in photography. The museum changes the exhibition showcasing the work of local and international artists. Check who they are displaying to see if it interests you.
