Mooi gezellig gasthuis. Ruime kamers prima bedden. Hebben hier lekker gegeten en ontbijt was erg lekker. Vleeswaren kwamen uit eigen keuken. Dus dubbel op genieten.
Der Spälterwald liegt schön idyllisch im Odenwald. Perfekter Startpunkt um zu Wandern. Zudem sind die Gastgeber sehr Herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich mit regionalen frischen Zutaten.

Great hotel and very friendly and helpful service. Great food as well. Not expensive either. WiFi is available, but the entire village does not have cell phone connection with any operator. Payments with credit (or EC) card does not work, but they accept bank transfers. Although better take cash with you. Nice and quiet place to relax. I will go there again when I'm in the area.
31 May to 02 June 2024: double occupancy - the room with a balcony was great, the view lovely, the food traditional German fare, made with love from locally harvested ingredients, meat included, the Vesper meals nothing short of magic. Even the Kochkäs is handmade on the premises. The forest around is largely silent save for the birdsong, cell phone reception is very limited which is good and well for a digital detox. Other than that WiFi internet is on the house.

Der Gasthof wird über eine schmale Straße angefahren. Geparkt werden kann direkt vor dem Haus gegenüber der Garagen/Scheune. Das Essen aus eigener Schlachtung, sehr zu empfehlen, ob Frühstück oder Abendessen. Super nett die Fam. Seip. sowie auch das Personal. Das Zimmer inkl. sanitäre Anlage sind top gepflegt. Der nahe gelegen Bikepark ist gut zu erreichen. Immer wieder gerne!
