Love this scenic view off the highway. So many locks of love to look at and daydream about the stories of those that placed the locks along the fence over the years. Great views of the valley below as well. Worth a quick pit stop when heading south from Paradise to Chico. #paradisestrong

The view is beautifulllll at sunset. It’s the best time for the prettiest pictures. However, its nice whatever time or season you decide to stop and look. It also looks super cool in the winter when its foggy. It looks magical! There’s a good amount of parking. It’s never crowded. NO RESTROOMS. Also if you plan on stopping don’t forget to buy a lock and leave your mark.

It was shedding water just fine. Not sure if the fish are supposed to come when you whistle, but they do. Like little puppies, except cute.

The Butte Creek Watershed Overlook is a beautiful viewpoint along the road between Chico and Paradise. The views of the expansive canyon and valley below is an incredible sight. Could describe it as the Grand Canyon of Northern California.

My mom and I used to stop here everytime we were heading home from an appointment. It was an absolutely stunning view of the sunset then and it still is, even after the fire. Always a very sentimental place in my heart.

LITTLE GRAND CANYON of the SIERRA NEVADA - This is always a great stop to see this geological feature. Quite unexpected by most that I have taken here. Always a different view from day to day and season to season. Highly recommended for visitors and locals alike. Don’t miss the Sutter Buttes on other side of the road.

This viewpoint property is for sale. Kind of sad. I just hope this beautiful view will still be acceptable in years to come. I can't even imagine the beauty of this entire town before the fire.

Very awe inspiring. I grew up here yet this place still feels like I’m somewhere else out of our area. Think Mini Grand Canyon.
