Best place to visit, worth are: 1) its near to Doddabetta pick, about 2 km. 2) i will give 100% better experience than Government botanical garden, because of less crowd. 3) suggest to go by own car or taxi/cab. 4) kids park also available and its far better than Gov. Botanical garden kids park. 5) plenty of space for parking. 6) very good organic chai tea shop here serves delicious tea.

This place is very beautiful. It's just under 2km from doddabetta peak and definitely recommended. This tea park is also maintained well. The entry fee is 20 rupees.

The entry fee is 20/- and parking for the bike is 15/-. The place is well maintained by the government. A small play area for the kids is there. You can walk through the tea plantations. Many flowers are grown and maintained. Saw bison in the foad towards the tea park, they won't attack unless you provoke them.

Great expanse of tea estate surrounded by gardens on all sides. Lovely terrain with its uphill and downhill slopes.! Children will enjoy the most with the playing equipment like slides, monkey bars, etc. And the adults can relax and wind down enjoying the pleasant weather. πŸ˜€ Tea of various types, both for having there and tea powder for purchasing, are available here. Some plant saplings are available too at nominal cost. Overall, it is a good place to relax after exploring the hill station of Ooty.! Ample parking space is available, and washroom facilities are available too.

Lovely lush green one acre of sheer beauty, apat from absorbing some knowledge about how tea reaches homes from the estates. It is quite a recent addition to Ooty's tourist landscape, about fifteen years. Here one can follow the leaf as it goes from the plant into the packet, and one can also have a cup of freshly brewed green tea for β‚Ή10. In addition to tea plants, there are other flowering plants and lush lawns spread out over rolling hillsides.

Its basic park with children park facility and seating arrangement. They charge for entry & car parkingb(40 + 20). I suggest you to skip this place and enjoy the view below teapark at the valley edge on the road side sipping coffee. Dont waste your time here.

A well maintained park by the government of Tamilnadu. Entry ticket is just β‚Ή20/- per person and it wasn't crowded even during weekends. Team Gardens were big enough and we could spend quality time taking pictures and strolling around. One can also buy plants from here at nominal prices and drink tea at TAN outelt.

This is a new place, not much for viewing. But one will get a chance to go inside the tea plantations and take snaps without any issues. Also, there is some kids play area and kids can simply enjoy. Nice view and scenic areas for taking some better snaps.

A small tea plantation with a meadow just like botanical garden. Nothing much to see, if you are around Dodabetta or some where near then do consider this place for a visit. You can spend sometime with family. Kids play area is there. The entry fee is bit pricey. You gotta pay for the parking as well. But there isnt much to see but if you love flowers you might like this place.

Nice place to visit. Better opt for non traffic days to spend quality time understanding the working of a tea factory. The location also has a chocolate factory and a adventure zone. Tea and chocolate are also on sale. Bought some and was very good. Overall Good

A well maintained park in the midst of a tea estate, has a nice huge clean and maintained lawn, kids play area (which adults also use πŸ˜€ ), couple of gazebos, a good view of the mountains and valleys from the top gazebo. A nice place to just go and relax if it is not crowded. Also has pretty clean washrooms and a store for spices and oils. The whole park is maintained by the government. Good enough parking which is charged and also an entry fee.

A peaceful tea garden with well-maintained parks and good elevation points to oversee the entire location. Also contains a children's play area. The car parking fees of β‚Ή40/- is a rip-off given that visitors have to park in a common open area and not any designated car park. The approach road within the premises also needs repair.

Tea Park in Ooty is a serene destination for tea lovers. Nestled amidst tea plantations, it offers a peaceful escape. While not a park in the traditional sense, it provides an opportunity to enjoy fresh tea while surrounded by lush greenery, making it a delightful stop for those exploring Ooty's tea culture.

  • 5/5 Satya S. 8 months ago on Google
Great place if it’s not crowded. Went during monsoon and the greenery peaked. There’s a tea stall and the tea is a must try. Also the person in that stall was really warm and welcoming.

(February 2023) The Tea Park is a stunning expanse of lush greenery, surrounded by beautiful gardens and tea estate, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. The hilly terrain, with its uphill and downhill slopes, adds to the charm of the place. This tea estate is not just about scenic beauty, but it also has something for everyone. Children can have a good time on the playing equipment, such as slides, monkey bars and swings while the adults can unwind and enjoy the serene atmosphere. One can also purchase tea powder and plant saplings at nominal costs. With ample parking space and well-maintained washrooms, this place is a must-visit for all those traveling to Ooty. However the 100 meter road leading to this place from the highway is maintained badly.

Well maintained property which is handled by TN government. Huge lawn gives a spectacular view from bottom. Tea estate is well maintained too. You can buy government produced tea powder which is really great. Kids will enjoy the park.

This is government tea garden in Ooty station. Garden is very neat and clean with playground and some good equipments for children. Very amazing place for photoshoot. There is little shop in which they sales tea, coffee and many ayurvedic or herbal products like nilgiri oil, different essence oils like rose oil, lavender oil, heena oil, chandan oil etc which is good for skin beauty. Also can be used as perfume. Please note: products are original and prices are actually low. We have seen product Nilgiri oil which costs 150/- here, same is available at Rs 260/- in tea factory shopping centre. Lady shopkeeper also said, we can purchase products online by calling on their number and order product on call. You can ask in question if you want number of tea garden shopping centre.

This is an Amazing place to visit in Ooty. One can have a stroll in the garden or simply sit down, relax and enjoy the view. Also try out the fresh tea there which is available in different flavours. This place is worth visiting as its beautiful, calm and pleasant.

Its just a tea plantation garden no one was there to give a tour or to explain how it works. We get a tea in return of the entry ticket and the TEA was the worst tea I had in Ooty. πŸ˜… just a casual place to go. Not like a main attraction as others say’s.

Loved it! Its a step garden with fragrant tea planted on every elevation. Its not very big, but a nice controlled tourism swatch. They offer free chai for tourists. Washrooms are missing in viccinity. Great landscape for photographers. Atmosphere is cool even in Summers.

It was adventurous. i went on a peak rainy time, that is June. Avoid that time of the year. It's the best place to view whole landscape of Ooty. Better pack ur rain coats if u r planning to go here.

It is a park where there small tea plantation. You can bring your kids to play as there are swings, slides etc. There is tea/coffee shop as well. It's a nice place to stop and chill and enjoy the view and the nature. Just the parking and entry fee was expensive.

The most underrated place in Ooty for nature lovers. There is an elongated park surrounded with tea leaves, flowers, few gazebos to sit under and hills. A great place for kids too as there are sets of swings and so on.

This place is near to Doddabetta. And not too crowded here. There is a kids play area. Photospot is there. Then 2 shops are there, where you can purchase tea powder and spice items. Entry tickets and parking tickets are also there.

One of the oldest tea factory in Ooty. They display and run the factory as the customer visit, so that customer can see thee process of making tea from the stage of leaf to powder. Their chocolate shop is good, tea shop is must buy, ayurvedic shop is little costly.
