😠 Bad lighting, my gf can barely do her makeup in the room. We could hear the next room making love. The toilet is terrifying, cockroaches and cacing appear everyday. Dirty and dusty floor. I have two more nights to go, now I can’t figure out how to shower. Worst stay ever! People often mention room, stay, clean, good, toilet, night, hostel, sleep, staff, nice,

Sehr kleines Hostel. Was ich persönlich wichtig finde.

I'm so impressed with the interior design. The concept is self check in and it's easy. Location very near to eateries. I'll come back.

Good location on a quiet street. Close to central bus station, main mall and lots of cafes/restaurants. Only 10 minute walk to the old town area. Owner was friendly and helpful, check in was easy and there was a good size kitchen. Private room was large with a bedroom and a lounge area, plenty of space, bed comfortable and air conditioning worked well. The walls were very thin so you could hear everything from the other rooms and bathroom but it was quiet from early so not a problem really.

Check in process too long. They should have all the info when I booked online but everyone checking in need to type in all the info again in their computer. Stayed in the dorm with 4 bunk beds. The bathrooms are downstairs. The bunk beds are too wobbly. It shakes with slightest movement. The room is noisy next to the main street. There is sign saying no food allowed in all the rooms even the private room. Never seen this rule before. Clean place and good location and value. The girl sharing the bottom bunk bed was moving a lot and since the bed shakes and her snoring I didn't sleep. I know this has nothing to do with the hotel. Paid 2 nights and I left after one night.

✅ Suitable for backpacker fellows to have a short stay at this hotel and also for family members too ❗May not suitable for family who had a small baby or small kids which they might tantrum and disturbing other guest The services provided by the hotel such as the usage of iron and board, hot & cold water can be find outside of your room The parking may not available all of the time and you need to ensure you have pay the parking lot before leave it I got the room on number 5 on lower level of the hotel, its near the iron & board for you to use and also there is a toilet outside of the room too for guest to use it The room have 2 queen size bed and 1 single bed. There are 1 single bed + 1 queen bed on the upper floor & 1 queen size bed below of the room Its very convienent places for people to stay and have a good night rest and it is recommended for people t go out and find something to eat rather than eating in your room, there is a bathroom in our room as well

Got the double room no1. Hated almost everything. PROS: Hot & Cold water provided Cool decor and reception Location Kind staff CONS: Room number 1 is the first and closest to the reception/lounge. Paper thin walls - you can literally hear your neighbor breathing. Haven't had a good night sleep yet. People smoke in the lounge/reception area - at least i saw a guy smoking while talking to the staff in the middle of the day. Worst bed ever - you are better off sleeping on the floor. Wouldn't stay here again.

Ansonsten alles gut.

Perfect for backpackers Very good stay in this hostel, the bedroom was little but confortable. The only point is that walls are so small that you can hear everything that happend in the corridor and next doors... Shower (hot/ cold ok) and restrooms were cleaned everyday. The staff was kind and give good advice for the bus and places to visite. You can find several restaurants nearby.

5 minutes from Gama shopping mall, Komtar, and 1st Avenue. Self-checking in&out. Towel, blanket, shampoo, and soap are provided. Shower room and toilet are cleaned. Staff is so nice. I stayed in 4-bed dorm, I could hear the voices from the next room.

Very nice hostel for a cheap price! The staff is very friendly & helpful (: I felt very comfortable & they were cleaning the place every day really properly (: I can only recommend this hostel!

For the price you pay hostel is quite clean. For the doorm stay it has only one toilet and 3 showers. Beds in the room are really uncomfortable, the place it's quite noisy. Stuff is never presented at the hostel and it's not easy to get any information

I liked my stay in this hostel. It s quiet, quite clean, and has a kitchen. Location practical near bus from/to airport. Dorm price cheap. Dorm A is comfortable, not Dorm B. Cons : - not enough toilets and showers - internet was slow

Nice and decent room. Can fit up to 4 people. Reasonable and affordable price per night. Very near to Komtar bus station. Comes with air con and a personal, but small washroom. Does provide privacy but the sliding glass and semi transparent glass panel provide transparency and slight insecurity. But overall great experience.

a big bummer, when I arrived there should have been someone to check in but there was nobody. after I waited for someone to open me I had to call to figure out how to do it, I took the key he told me and the next day surprise, it wasn't the right key. the manager yelled at me and kicked me out. unfortunately I didn't understand well and he didn't let me speak. the manager is super rude and ignorant. and the place sucks! don't go to this hostel. I strongly advise against

I stayed in the dorm room. Pros: strong WiFi, fresh sheets, unlimited pillows/blankets, drinking water, pantry area for light cooking. Cons: noisy, no sound isolation, other bagpackers steal your lower bunk bed because nobody wants to sleep on the upper bunk, very small basin to brush teeth and wash face. The mattresses are the coconut husk kind of mattress hence it's rock-hard to sleep on. And there are busy hawkers and bars left right front back, don't expect to be able to sleep until 2am. If you have a car, don't return to the guesthouse before 10pm, there won't be any place to park.

Comfortable and it's a good stay for those opting for a simple, less costly stay. The place is clean and bug free.

It was okay. Loved the lobby area deco however, our 6 room stay wasnt as how I expected it to be as what I'm seeing in the photos. Nonetheless, loved how ot provides free drinking (cool&hot) water for a traveller to replenish (cause i fell sick in the trip) and staying healthy w suppliant while travelling is actually a must when on budget.

Mr Fuan is one of the most genuinely nice person i have the privilege to encounter, i'll just point out the facilities are more than adequate for what you are paying for with few shower and toilet, a water dispenser and cooking equipment. Also clean and comfortable with terrific location

Owners Faye and Chris were very hospitable. Reasonable prices for a pleasant room and the prime location. We arrived past midnight (had a night flight) and Chris stayed up to receive us. The next morning he waited for us (we got up super late) to give us a quick introduction to Penang as well as his recommendations. He didn't have to; it was a bonus. The only downside was the renovations that were ongoing during the time of our stay. The drills and knocks started as early as 8am when we really needed to sleep in that morning. Looking past it, it's a really great place to stay! Bathroom and room were clean.
