I have stayed here twice, Once in March for 4 nights and once in April for 5 nights in two different rooms. The Food is very good. The serving staff are friendly and will suggest dishes for you to chose. The House Keeping is excellent...though there are no Hand Towels, only Bathing towels...so you have to use those for every wash you take. The front office is slow in responding to water or soap or shampoo requests, unless you are there with your wife. The Toilet water is salty and not clear. The Showers Heads (Plastic) are in an appalling state on a/c of the Salt Water and there is no pressure for the shower....its like an Old Man pissing. There is no Service Spray for bidet service you have to use a mug. Overall a quiet place far from the city, Secure and Safe, Good Food, Front Office and Maintenance needs improving.

Clean, spacious rooms which get thoroughly cleaned daily, unlike some other places. The Wifi is patchy at times, but luckily the 4g signal in the rooms is very good. Complimentary water, tea and coffee provided, and there's an on-site restaurant. Contrary to what other reviews mentioned, the city center is perfectly well accessible, either on foot or by taking one of the numerous pedicabs passing in front. Special kudos to the staff, who were very helpful.

location is off from the busy, noisy town, good food, neat room, caring staff, neat parking space. Drawback but can be fixed right away: Aircon exhaust water drops on the floor. Price is reasonable. Very good overall experience.

I'd like to say we got to stay here, but we couldn't even when we tried. We made reservations through Agoda, and arrived at the hotel at 9:30pm. The place looked like it had been shut down, but we finally got the attention of the security guard. We told him that we had reservations, but the guard wouldn't let us in saying there was no one at the service desk and he didn't have access to the door keys. What kind of hotel doesn't have a service counter at 9:30pm? We the asked the guard if he had a phone number where he could call the manager. He didn't have one according to him. I'm like, so if the hotel caught fire, you have no way of communicating with the manager or owner??? To top it off, this hotel had a no refund policy, so I had to work with Agoda to get a refund for services not rendered. Agoda told me that this hotel will not respond to even their inquiries. Finally today I was able to get a refund thanks in part of Agoda advocating for their customers. Thanks Agoda! As for the Red Palm hotel? Be careful.

small but cozy, you'll never get to walk far where your room is or your car is parked. has also menu you can savor every taste of it. i recommend to fast travellers!

Great room for the price. The location is not that accessible to public transpo but there's no problem if you have a car. Silent and a peaceful place to stay 👍😊

Still the best hotel for me in Butuan City. It offers a warm and cozy ambience for a modest accommodation. They also have a great selection of local and international cuisines to suite your cravings after a tiring field work in Caraga region. Your home away from home. Kudos also to the kind and hardworking staff!

Good food with very relaxing ambiance

Rooms are pretty adequate. The parking space is very limited though, but they assist with the parking.

Room was spacious with good water supply and staff were accomodating. Sadly, there were a lot of mosquitoes and there was a mice in our room.
