The ambiance is nice.. especially at night, accompanied by some acoustics and vocals. The food is good especially the chicken inato (definitely recommend eating by hands). I also like their buko-halo where you’ll eat the halo-halo right at the coconut shell itself 🥥. They also have great snack options. The staffs are very accommodating and responsive to the needs of the costumers.

Omg, the service here is a level above frustrating. The last time I was in here, we waited for 45 mins for a waiter to take our orders. A few passed us by and we told them we were ready but they kept saying “wait lang ma'am.” We left out of frustration. Clearly they were very disorganized. No one ushered us to our seats, no one gave us a menu (we had to borrow it from another table), no one came to check up on us at all so we left without ordering anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Mang Inasal has better chicken and plenty of other places have better halo-halo.

Weegols is one of the oldest yet the best chicken inato restaurant in Butuan. There's no other barbeque place that matches the taste of weegols garden even in Melbourne that's why every time I come home, I always eat here because they serve the best barbeque chicken in the world for me. Apart from that, their buko halo is delicious and it matches the main meal for dessert. They also have live singer singing at lunch and dinner, a very good singer who sings my favourite ballad songs. I highly recommend this place to all balikbayans and those who love true Pinoy food.

Good food. Probably pioneered the buko halo. Known for their chicken inato long before Mang Inasal came into being.

Acoustic band is not so loud that we could still talk with my friends at the table. Food is yummy. But try next time making the chicken bbq softer and tender.

We sort of had a reverse order of our meal since we started with desert first. We had Buko Halohalo, a mixture of 1 scoop of ube icecream, ice shavings, banana slices, sweet beans and corn flakes; as well as an order of Chicharon bulaklak. We enjoyed our snack anddecided to have our dinner there instead of relocating to a different restaurant. The chicken inato (pecho) was very saucy and flavorful. All in all a great experience.

While eating, you can enjoy their live acoustic, you can even join the singer and request songs.

Their food lacks appeal. While their inato might meet basic standards, the buko halo resembled binignit in taste. The bihon guisado was undercooked, with large, unrefined vegetable slices. Surprisingly, the chicken skin portion was minimal given the price, making it an unsatisfying value. I couldn't finish the meal.

The food and service are good. The place looks nice. The only thing that puts me off is the live singer, it's too loud especially if you want to talk with your friends over lunch that you have to scream so you can hear each other.
