The trails here are NOT marked well at all. They interloop with each other and it's easy to get turned around or onto the wrong trail. However, it was a beautiful, quiet hike with lots to see that made for an amazing adventure and will visit again someday to give it another try.

If your looking for true hiking, look no further. Be sure to find a detailed map. Some trails are not easy. Be careful of the wild life. I walked up on a snake

A great trail that had its challenging moments. I took a mix of the ranger trail and teal trail up, and then went down on the yellow and white trail. The view was worth it and so were the pictures. My pup was a fan as well and it was easy enough for him to go through

This is a nice, easy place with walking paths as well as moderate hiking trails. All in all a nice place for the locals or people who are willing to travel a little bit

The blue trail is 0.8 miles, well marked trail with very few spots to climb up the rocks. Nice view from the summit! Highly recommend good shoes, especially during the fall season as the leaves get slippery to walk on!

I love allamuchy. I climb here on my own and I take my rock climbing summer campers here. I’ve only ever used it as a climbing crag but it seems like a lovely (albeit overgrown) place to get a good challenging hike in. A lot of the first wall can ether be trad or walk up approach along the far right side. Not much sport at all. Further left down the trail you come to cake wall and the slabs, both easy tree anchor sections. It’s essentially the only place to climb in NJ. Left of the first wall is really steep so be careful moving beyond that first section.

You have to know your way to find the parking lot and the trails. But once you’re there, the trails offer a challenging experience. Trails are well marked and they are never crowded. The Sussex Rail Trail cuts right through middle and it’s a good place for the entire family to bike, walk, jog…

We rock climbed here and had an amazing time. Lots of amazing rock faces and some good hiking trails to keep you entertained. And some amazing views at the high points.

This park has great hiking and biking trails. Not far from the city. Clean and not too populated. The trails are clearly marked.

Excellent hike trails for all ages. The main trail is a nice hike for senior citizens. There is limited parking on weekends. Restroom is a porter potty. The google maps doesn't put you directly in the parking lot.

What a beautiful, historic place! The rangers were very knowledgeable and even let us see the grist mill in action! It must have been wonderful to live here by the Morris canal....

Beautiful overlook view. I started the trail through a short cut around the rock climbing wall. Very Steep for hikers but it's a quick way up to the overlook. The original trails are well marked. Beautiful terrain and the Waterloo village a nice walkable park very educational abou native Indian tribes in NJ.

We wound't call it state park.. its a great trail but this perticular area does not have picnic table and all. Toilets were very bad...

Great simple trail with the option of more technical terrain. Lots of lakes and wildlife. Very serene. Easy to follow trails. We will definitely be back!

Fairly quiet during the week, a little busier on the weekend with lots of mountain bikers, hikers, and more. Plenty of trails and they are not super busy. Easy gravel trail to follow if you want to stay on a path, but lots more to explore.

Great park. Good trails for hiking with dogs. We didn't see any other people on our hike. Peaceful
