We can’t stop coming in! The music is a great feel for how the venue is as a whole, fun, exciting and lovely! Every taco is delicious, a little wet, but so full of great flavour! The mezcal margaritas are perfect for a post-beach drink. Overall such a great place for food and drinks!

I worked for Costa (in the kitchen) during 2 months as a backpacker and it was one of my best working experiences ever so I wanted to leave a little review. First, the manager Karina does absolutely everything for her employees. She always checks that every employee is happy and feeling good. As employees, we are also paid more than the normal Byron restaurant wage and we can eat for free. Second, as I worked in the kitchen, I saw how everything was made and I was amazed to see how everything is fresh and made every day!! Every day, they receive the fresh vegetables, meat and fish and cook everything from scratch. It is a lot of work, and the chefs are all from Mexico so they know exactly what they are doing. The 3 chefs have an absolute passion for cooking and they are very patient to teach backpackers like me how to do it perfectly. Third, everything is VERY clean in the restaurant and in the kitchen. Which I think is very important to know as customers. Thanks again for this amazing experience.

absolutely LOVE this place! best tacos in town. Been traveling for months now and it was so nice to get my hands on a proper mexican taco. These tacos were just as good as the ones back home in san diego. 10/10 recommend if you’re in byron they WONT disappoint!

Absolutely fantastic tacos, ceviche, and nachos. Far exceeded our expectations - came here twice over our brief holiday in Byron Bay because it was just that good!!! Service was excellent and a relaxed restaurant environment where you could enjoy the food and watch passer-by.

Wow. What a treat. Service was excellent along with the atmosphere but the real standout and the most important was the food. Pork carnitas, quesabirria, baja, tostadas - they were all amazing. Full on flavour, yet light enough to have a few and feel satisfied. Drinks were class as well - perfect margaritas with an interesting spiked horchata special as well. Do yourself a favour and check this place out, you won’t regret it!

Excellent authentic Mexican bursting with flavour and freshness! Could not recommend this enough! Have tried many Mexican restaurants around the country and this is hands down the best one of there! Amazing staff and great restaurant atmosphere, a must for everyone!

Really good street style tacos. Saw in some of the other photos and reviews that fillings are light on - but this was definitely not the case when we visited. Heaps of tables on a Saturday night, but they don’t take bookings anyway.

Tried Margaritas at about 4 other places in Byron, and these were the best! The tacos were also delicious.

Some of the best authentic tacos I have had in Australia. Being from Southern California am super picky about Mexican food. I have been back here for tacos 2 days in a row and wished we had more time here so we could eat them again. We will definitely be back for the tacos and the town. I highly recommend you stop in and have the beef birria tacos after a day at the beach.
