We booked a four bedroom, three bathroom, air conditioned unit with expansive golf course views at the Byron Bay Links Apartments for our family of five, two adults and three children. At lunch time on the day before we were to arrive, the complex manager called to notify us that the owners of the unit we had booked required the unit for themselves over the weekend. We were moved to two separate units, with no air conditioning and views of the road into the golf course. One of the units had no power in the kitchen and none of the power points in two of the bedrooms were working either. Both units were aged and grubby. Never again Byron Links.

Great place to stay as it was extremely close to Conference venue. The Onsite Managers were extremely helpful and accommodating especially as we had to deal with rescheduling flights and delays due to floods. Thank you so much for all your of help, we truly appreciated it.

I booked a large group to stay here in August 2015. They were visiting from Ireland and where brought to many other places after Byron. However their time in these apartments was the highlight of their 4 weeks. The 3 bedroom penthouse apartment was very clean and was stocked with everything you could need/want. The size allowed the 6 staying lots of space. However it was the friendly, helpful service they received that raises here above the rest.

Owners are rude, don’t have any car for customers and their guests. Don’t return phone calls when trying to book and doesn’t honour their bookings and change last minute. Very poor management, which is a reflection on poor customer communication and interaction. Will not be staying here again. Absolutely abysmal.

As a place to stay, it is what it says, they're apartments, as in they quite literally feel like someone else's house. From the smell of smoked cigarettes to a dated look this place is definitely not worth the asking of 350 a night. Long overdue an update.

I have stayed here on a number of occassions. Each apartment is different. While the hosts are lovely the owners can be difficult. I've been sent a bill for a very expensive tv remote that I did not remove/ take but apparently the owner feels that's reasonable. Some owners have their own ideas. I won't be returning.

Beautiful surroundings, kids love all the activites like tennis, pool is magnificent, apartments are amazing, so comfortable. Hosts Ivan and Shona treat you like family. Do yourself a favour and visit Byron Links apartments!!

Great stay for a group/family of 4-6. Owners are wonderful. Little bit of a drive out of town if you don’t mind the drive in or walk.

The Links apartments are a tranquil slice of heaven. The fact that the apartments are older is the best thing about them. The rooms are huge, the walls are solid and balconies are spacious. Very private and quiet. We didn't use the tennis court but the pool is great to swim in or just cool off. Now the best bit of the whole stay are the managers Ivan and Shona. Their welcome and helpfulness made our stay. Helpful and so friendly we felt like a part of the family. I cannot recommend them enough.
