Had a really nice time at this place! The breakfast food was classic and tasty, totally hit the spot. Service took a bit to kick in, but no biggie, ’cause once the food arrived, it came pretty quickly! Oh, and let me tell you about the vibes – the atmosphere was on point! Super chill and cozy, just the kind of place you wanna hang out for a good breakfast.

Just a takeaway coffee but both waiters not so friendly. Plant based is limited to soy or almond. (Where did the oat go?) Coffee didn’t taste that great as well.

Most ignorant human beings I’ve come across in a long time, considering the tourist town you’re in. Female workers put me off my food with their dry attitude. 10 minute wait for coffee Got told the kitchen was closed while serving customers food Either a firing is needed or a nice kick to the head

Really nice casual cafe with good food and friendly service. Great range of breakfast options and beverages, ranging from simple but delicious to the more creative stuff you would expect in Byron. Something for everyone. We enjoyed the buttermilk pancake and the brekky roll (with bacon).

First day in Byron Bay turned sour at Espressohead. We were on the hunt for a coffee and stumbled upon this place which was next door to our accommo. Unfortunately, it seemed to be closing just as we arrived. Undeterred, I decided to set up my laptop on the tables outside my accommo and next door to Espressohead. Caught an unexpected show when an Espressohead waiter started chatting, dropping a few choice words about my partner and I while obviously glancing our way. I got the feeling that we'd accidentally sat in Espressohead seats instead of our accommodation's outdoor seating. We swiftly left. A heads up would've been nice, instead of bitching – we are just tourists and didn't know. A tip for the staff: if there's an issue, just let us know instead of the covert gossip session!

A memorably delicious pancake, and the best coffee I had in town. Yummy!

Exceptional little cafe in the heart of town that locals continue to visit for the same reason staff: mostly the infamous Duncan! A man renown for his strategic capability and customer centric standpoint. An absolute gem to the community. We've been meaning to leave a review for a while and finally got around to it! LOCATION: Centrally located with ample on street parking and outside seating - allowing for those with dogs/ large prams etc. MENU: Ample options inclusive of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. STAFF: Attentive and incredibly lucky to have Duncan on board - a celebrity can-do guy of sorts in the Australian community. Whether he's helping out with the dishes, food service or management - like all of us who visit - if you manage to get here on a day he's helping them out - you won't be disappointed. OVERALL: Great little spot to eat in town with a true steward of customer service on board.

Without doubt, the absolute best breakfast venue in Byron Bay. Food and coffee is consistently excellent and there’s a good choice. There’s no hassle table service. Service is fast and efficient but not particularly welcoming.

Loved the Muffin of the Day was warm from the kitchen, moist with a crunchy top and might have actually been fresh berries. Staff friendly as well.

I loved our breakfast here, we talk about it and miss it regularly. Was busy but staff found us a table very quickly!

Waited over an hour for a bacon and egg sandwich. We could see the kitchen staff who seemed more interested in taking on their phones than cooking food. No seats so I had to stand up while I waited for it. Very poor!

Food was not too bad. Service was ridicules. Unfriendly and too much trouble to smile. Would recommend to pick other place.

Nice place for breakfast or a quick bite when visiting Byron Bay. I loved the Smashed Peas & Poached Eggs with Sourdough. The coffee was also flavorful.

Espresso Head is a local’s favourite, as the food and coffee here is consistently delicious! Also the meals are a generous size, and there is always an interesting reasonably priced menu.

Must visit for breakfast at this cafe. Food is very healthy and tasty. It gets quite busy and might be need to wait in queue to get a table but food is worth the time.

Expressohead is one of my favourite cafes in Byron. They have a lot of regular clientele, so being so popular can be difficult to grab a table in busy times if dining in. They have great coffee's, an exceptional 2cm pan-fried pancake. Their favorites include Smashed Peas, Vietnamese crispy rice pancake, along with an omlette, and French toast with their own special twist. It is also nice being on a less-busy road.

This amazing cafe in Byron is just perfect place to eat amazing local food, enjoy fantastic coffee and just chill! The smashed pea breakfast was sensational and the omelette done to perfection! One of us had the crispy pancake and it was sooooo good! The service is excellent, friendly and relaxed! I love this place!!!
