We cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay here last night! The simple details left us wishing we had booked for a longer stay. Both Deb and Maureen were exceptionally good to deal with from the moment we booked, to checking in, to recommending great places to dine at for dinner and we look forward to another stay here in the future. Once you stay here, you wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Byron. Leaving as two very happy, relaxed guests.

We had five fabulous nights at 28 Degrees. We had two rooms - Private Lighthouse and Private Plunge Pool. I had been in contact with Deb in the weeks leading up to our visit and she was extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and bookings. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were greeted with a delicious basket of goodies for each room - Deb wanted to make sure that we had food and drinks, knowing that the next day most places in Byron would be shut. It was such a warm and generous gesture. Deb greeted us like old friends. The entire property is in immaculate condition, spotlessly clean and with exceptional housekeeping. It's also beautiful with great attention to detail and just like the photos on their website. Its very private both from the street and within the property. Although it was full, we never saw or heard another guest. The inclusive mini-bar is restocked daily, and everything from the granola to the craft beers is of the highest quality. The location in the centre of Byron Bay is excellent. Only a couple of minutes’ walk to Main Beach, all the good restaurants and bars and lovely shops, get far enough from the Main Street to avoid the crowds. I couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Byron Bay. Thanks Deb & Lindon, you've created a wonderful oasis.

From the moment you book and walk in the fabulous Maureen meets and greets you, almost like your personal concierge she continuously checks in on you. Its all the little things, once you stay here you will understand. 28 Degrees is very private, feels like your are in a different world. Its well maintained, absolutely spotless, fresh & modern. Very close to the busy part of Byron but far enough to feel the privacy. The private plunge pool was a bonus and a must. You will leave this place with only one regret that you didnt stay longer. Really loved my stay here and the host was very helpful and friendly! Will highly recommended if you are seeking for a quiet corner in the busy area. The little heated pool was a nice touch during summer

The most luxe hotel experience I’ve every hard. Thank you so much for making our wedding stay so special. Things I particularly loved about 28 Degrees where: ⁃ Absolute privacy and the small amount of guests on the property ⁃ The treats (fridge and pantry goals in the main house) and the best muesli I’ve ever eaten ⁃ The Main House master, perfect get ready room as it’s huge complete with a walk in wardrobe and balcony ⁃ The furniture throughout the Main House and suite absolute luxury, particularly the Maker & Son chairs and lounges ⁃ And the staff thank you to the whole team you really are the best in the Biz

My partner and I stayed at 28 Degrees for the second time and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. From the most comfortable, super large bed, to a breakfast bar at the window with lighthouse views and a large bathroom (everything super stylish), we felt right at home. The complimentary minibar is a thoughtful touch and stocked with amazing, local produce. We loved the free breakfast granola and homemade fruit compote and cannot wait to be back soon!

Amazing amazing amazing! Was the most perfect stay, close to all amenities in the heart of Byron. The bed and pillows were a dream! I usually wake up at 4, here I slept in until 8. The couch was the most comfortable thing I’ve ever sat on. The coffee and tea selection was so good! Private courtyard with a plunge pool. I felt so relaxed and didn’t want to leave. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect.

If luxury, privacy and location are what you're looking for, this is the place to stay. Each room is beautifully appointed, some with a private plunge pool. The attention to detail and guest experience is the best I've experienced. The extra touches and the quality of the fabrics and furnishing is something to behold. Probably the best bed I've ever slept in. Within walking distance to the beach, lighthouse and shopping precinct. I highly recommend this beautiful guest house in Byron Bay.

I arrived on a last minute rest and recharge and I certainly got that in the comfort of a beautiful room that hugged me in comfort and quiet. No tv was certainly a plus , gave me time for me and the delicious morning breakfast and coffee felt great that I didn’t have to run out for my cafe morning coffee Certainly will be back Thankyou Debbie

The team at 28 Degrees went out of their way to make our stay amazing. The accommodation itself is very nice, with excellent amenities and a great offering of inclusions for guests staying. I would recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable, cosy, casual stay in the heart of Byron Bay.

What a fantastic trip me and my wife had. The communication from the outset was amazing and really felt like we'd built a relationship before we even arrived. The accommodation is beautiful, and all the little details such as the amazing brekkie made it feel really special. We will definitely be back for a slow and relaxing weekend

Amazing location, super friendly staff and owner and lovely attention for detail. The entire guesthouse looks super cool. Breakfast and complimentary amentities are also very tasty. Would recommend to anyone coming to the beautiful town of Byron Bay - also perfect for exploring the nearby shops and restaurants.

We LOVED our stay here. Every single detail is well thought out and curated to help you relax and unwind. The rooms, the furnishings and the linens are straight out of a my dreams! It was the perfect place in the middle of along trip abroad to recharge.

Just back from a gorgeous stay at 28 Degrees - where the emphasis is on quality and 'me' time....just what I needed. The attention to detail is absolutely gorgeous everywhere you look - with the luxury bedding, mattresses, pillows - to the super comfortable furnishings, and stunning lighting. The cheese platter and bubbles on arrival, the homemade organic muesli in the morning - the tea, coffee....beautiful. And the service is second to none. I felt very spoilt and well looked after. Thank you to Deb and her team you are fantastic!!....I am looking forward to going back.

We had a beautiful and rejuvenating stay at 28 Degrees in Byron Bay. The location couldn't be more central to the bustling Byron town center, yet 28 Degrees feels like you're staying in the hinterland. It's quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Every nook and cranny has been meticulously designed and curated by the founder, Deb. The products are stunning, the plunge pool cooling, and Deb's homemade muesli absolutely delicious. Not to mention the king-sized bed - a complete dream! Five stars!

5 stars! No expenses spared. The small 1%ers made the trip. The bikes you can use, beach umbrella, beach towels, free parking, free mini bar, and the mini boost Bluetooth speakers. It is a very well maintained property that has a lap pool, new a/c that is beautifully styled in a great quiet location. If I were to come to Byron Bay again, I would definitely stay here again.

Maureen and the staff at 28° were absolutely amazing! They made it relaxing every step of the way. The location was private and cosy, yet still within walking distance to everything. The parking was secure and hassle free. The room itself was stunning - we could have stayed there all day just relaxing. The plunge pool was private and perfect for a daily 'cool-off' from the Byron humidity. The little treats were delicious and clearly celebrating other small local businesses! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic getaway in Byron Bay!!

I have stayed at 28 Degrees, Byron Bay on three separate occasions and I have been absolutely rejuvenated after my stay every time. The place is so serene and completely tranquil even in the heart of Byron, that it gives me permission to slow down.

A little oasis in busy Byron with excellent service and gorgeous rooms, close to everything and no car required. Only downside was quite noisy early in morning with traffic and construction works nearby.

From the moment you book you feel well looked after. Maureen and Deb are so committed to making sure your stay goes off without a hitch. With COVID playing havoc around our country they went to lengths to ensure we had a booking that was sorted out despite Expedia being painful on the back end. The rooms, as per other reviews, are outstanding. You can really tell that they take their mission seriously, that is, to provide somewhere for you to ‘unplug’ and relax in a hectic world. The beds are super comfortable, the fittings are all high quality and you can tell they’ve gone to lengths to get the decor perfect. Thanks for having us and we hope to be back for another ‘unplug’ in the not too distant future
