I
wish
I
could
give
more
than
5
stars
(see
below).
Without
doubt
the
most
helpful
surf
shop
I’ve
ever
encountered.
I
had
been
pondering
a
new
board
but
was
unsure
of
the
direction
I
wanted
to
go.
Tom
and
Dave
bent
over
backwards
to
assist
my
search
and
I’m
rapt
with
my
decision.
There’s
something
about
this
surf
shop
I
can’t
put
my
finger
on.
It’s
almost
like
going
over
to
a
mates
place
and
talking
about
surfing/boards/travel
while
having
a
good
coffee.
It’s
also
somewhat
of
a
destination
surf
shop
-
people
travel
from
all
over
the
world
(and
Aust)
to
visit
and
this
makes
for
great
conversations.
If
I
could
sum
up
McTavish
Byron
in
one
word
it
would
be
genuine
(however,
soulful
also
springs
to
mind).
From
a
genuine
conversation
over
an
early
morning
perfectly
made
barista
coffee
with
Saffi,
to
discussing
how
I
can
best
improve
my
surfing
and
get
more
stoke
with
Tommy
and
Dave,
you’re
guaranteed
to
walk
away
genuinely
happy.
Even
as
busy
as
Ben
was,
he
also
still
happily
came
out
of
his
shaping
bay
to
warmly
say
hello
and
have
a
brief
chat
to
me
and
my
family
(including
my
6yo).
The
craftsmanship
and
finish
of
the
boards
is
sublime.
Serious
Google
rating
-
6
stars
(and
then
some).
Happiness/stoke
factor
-
10
stars
:-)
PS
A
big
thankyou
to
my
beautiful
wife
who
gifted
me
my
custom
‘grail’
board
that
will
become
a
generational
gift
to
my
son
to
share
the
stoke.
