Just popped into the Coop in Byron Bay and what a pleasant surprise. The food is delicious and the owners, Lisa and Adam were so nice and friendly and guided us through our selection. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Never met a more pleasant lady that served us. Honestly the best meal I’ve ever bought that made me feel like I’m eating mums cooking.

Hands down the most fresh, delicious, wholesome food in byron ! Lunch/dinner. Such lovely owners always welcoming with a warm smile & impeccable service - if you haven’t yet tried, get on it! ( Sprouts & roasted sweet potatoes topped with their mouth watering bubaganoosh is a must )

Very delicious flavoursome chicken with rostered Mediterranean vegetables and freshly made salads with a bit of an Avo smashed dip on top - there was my best dinner for 3 of my each nights when I stayed at Byron. Highly recommend those homemade dishes. Oh, and a very tasty Brownie for dessert, so yummy!! 👍😀

I LOVE this place. Delicious and varied salads, I bought 6 different salads last night! The baba ganoush is only $5 and homemade. I am so happy this place opened locally for easy family dinners. We have bought from here since it opened regularly and are always so happy with the quality and flavour.

I thought I was a good cook until I experienced the food here. The smashed Avacado with lime, kipfler potatoes,, the salads and chicken. This business has taken food to the next level. It is not a chicken shop, it a gourmet restaurant. Their chef has not thrown just the ingredients in, he has thrown his heart in and result is mouth watering.

Indisputably my favorite lunch spot in Byron. The food is top notch quality and taste. Such good variety of both chicken and sides. And the staff is super friendly and helpful. Always a delight to stop by.

Fantastic food. We had Portuguese chicken, potatoes au gratin, lentils, pesto, and Caesar salad. All excellent and good portions.

I’ve been a customer for over 12 months and I am happy to recommend them. The food is always fresh and healthy. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The portion sizes are large and are good value. They bake everything in house including the beautiful bread rolls. 5 stars. Thank you.

New to Byron Bay we were first attracted by the inviting display of chicken and vegetables/salads. The owners are so helpful and friendly and the food delicious. We can’t recommend this more highly. Thank you for such a warm welcome

Just discovered this place and it’s seriously the best roast chicken I’ve ever had! Super healthy, super delicious. Plenty of good salads and veggies and other delicious items. It’s so great to get such high quality take away. My new regular!

Fresh and tasty salads here which were hard to see in other places. Staff was friendly and patient to introduce me about each salad. That helped a lot for my difficulty choosing. I liked the salad with cous cous most. Happy to visit again.

Absolutely superb food as a person that works in the food industry can I say the best presented meals I have ever had.. Our family is in hospitality with hotels and the fresh produce that was served was like sitting at the farm eating so fresh so good. Do yourself a favour if you want the best experience in food taste and presentation call in to johnson street byron and let you taste buds be taken to a happy place. It’s a good thing I don’t live in Byron because I would eat here waaay too much. I had the best veggie bowl mixed this all sorts of flavorful salads. Loved it so much, I got the same meal two days in a row. The staff were helpful and talked me through all the options. Perfect place to grab a to-go lunch or dinner. A must go!!!

This is by far the BEST bird I’ve ever tasted. The Portuguese chicken is irresistibly good. I’ve been a regular each week since the first time I tried it. Cannot get enough of it. The salads are amazing too everything is just great homemade style, super super delicious and healthy! Don’t ever leave us!!

Proper chook, can't go wrong with the Portugese marinade, all the salads and sides are sensational, quarter chook, coleslaw, Brussel sprouts and potato bake is a flawless combo, followed by the fantastic customer service every time. Big ups to the coop

I live locally and have bought chicken, vegetables and salad from the coop a number of times and it’s been incredible. However, I picked up an order this evening and can’t believe how inedible everything was. One quarter of chicken was bleeding it was so undercooked and had an unpleasant taste and colour. The vegetables were also extremely undercooked. The gravy was soooo salty I thought it would burn my mouth. Can’t believe how disappointed this meal was. Not sure who did the cooking today but I won’t be back any time soon….
