Absolutely amazing! Staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a comfortable and enjoyable one. Our room was very clean and felt so fresh and new. Overall Vali Hotel was one of the most accommodating places I have ever stayed at. The best experience!

What an awesome space! We stayed during the recent floods after being unable to get home and having to extend our stay in Byron. The owner was so helpful despite phone and internet being down she got us into a room right away which was clean, modern and comfortable. The hotel’s dog Sandy was a lovely addition to see at the front desk. Highly recommend and we’ll be back on our next Byron trip. Amazing, central location

My fiancé and I absolutely loved our extended stay at the Vali hotel over the December/January holidays. Being new to the Byron Bay area, all the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued as guests. We also had the pleasure of staying with our Dog & Cat and they were extremely pet friendly and accommodating. The hotel rooms were very clean and modern and the hotel itself is conveniently located within the centre of town. All the best restaurants at your doorstep and just minutes walk to the main beach! Special shout-out to the friendly staff members Nicole & Josh and the super cool and lovely lady who surfs (how could we forget your name)

The worst hotel experience I have ever had to endure. Not clean, dirty floors and mouldy showers, dog mess all over the place, questionable stains on cushions, noisy, constant dogs barking and people fighting in the hallways, smelly, and when they got my booking wrong said that is was all my fault and bad luck. It ruined my stay in Byron.

Firstly, all of the staff were amazing and so lovely. They were able to provide us with any information we needed at all times and were just genuinely lovely people. Very close to main beach, very central in town. Hotel smelled and looked clean as you walk inside. Hotel room itself was stunning, nothing to fault!

Vali Byron is a quaint, newly-renovated hostel with friendly staff and a great location downtown. Our room had its own bathroom, but the shared toilets & showers are also comfortable. We had a very small window, so I’d recommend a room with a balcony. Oddly the WiFi didn’t work in our room. Nonetheless, the lounge space downstairs was great for getting work done. The kitchen was fully equipped as well. I would stay at Vali Byron again.

This is a hidden gem in Byron. What a wonderful establishment renovated soo beautifully. I won’t lie the entry seems to be in a hidden alley but you walk in and it takes your breath away! Reception welcome was warm and friendly although the four legged furball could do with some training on a friendly welcome 🤣. Even the tradies in the elevator were friendly. Well done to the owners. If I was to return to Byron I would stay here. Sadly I must be the one person who cannot say I love Byron. It’s just not my vibe. But thanks for the cool place to stay ❤️

A great stay in clean and well kept rooms. Recently opened hence the lack of reviews. The staff were all very pleasant to deal with, willing and helpful. The facilities are great and there staff seem excited about the plans to add to them. Well worth the punt and we'll worth the money. Would recommend. WiFi was very strong everywhere apart from my bed but wasn't an issue, could sit and mingle in the pleasant reception area happily.

An exceptional stay. The hotel's central location in Byron, with cafes, restaurants, and the beach just steps away, made it very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a modern feel, which we loved, as well as the complimentary water and fresh milk. Carpark is also complimentary, secure, indoors and shared with the supermarket. We appreciated the upgrade and early check-in, and the staff, especially Paige and Helen, were always quick to respond to our enquiries, offering friendly and professional service. Another highlight was the communal kitchen, a great feature for a former hostel. The lobby was perfect for co-working, but there's also a dedicated room for it. One minor downside was that the wifi speeds were adequate, but not particularly fast. Overall, we highly recommend Vali Byron for an excellent stay - you won't be disappointed!

Oh my goodness what can I say! As soon as you walk through the door you know you’re in for a treat. The decor is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are so comfortable and very clean. The communal toilet/shower facilities - no issues at all & very clean too. The location is perfect. The staff are wonderful, so friendly especially Brooke!! Thank you all so much - can’t wait to come back.

Ellie and I really enjoyed our stay here! We were very impressed with the quality of the rooms, beautifully clean. 2 Pillow, fridge, balcony, curtains, huge TV - unheard of luxury in a shared dorm. The ben linen was super clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly, so much so they helped us retrieve a jumper which had fell from the balcony onto the room. We will be staying again! Our original plan was to stay a single night on our travel back down south from Brisbane to Wollongong. We were so impressed with the room, location and service. Damien went above and beyond in order to help us, going as far as organising an extra bed for our room. Will definitely be back on our next stay in Byron bay. Damien embodies everything and more a hostel manager should be . Would love a beer with him next time.

Excellent backpackers, we were welcomed by Joanna, an amazing person, smiling and accommodating, we were able to exchange beds according to our preferences. Also great advices for new arrivals to the city. Everything is brand new, spacious and bright. The beds are as confortables as possible, with AC and balconies, and people are respectful. The parking and laundry are free too. Do not hesitate to sleep there. We will come back for sure

This was a great place to stay as a solo traveler in Byron! The room was perfect with a little balcony / fridge tea pot & my own bathroom. The location is perfect in the center of town & the beach so you can walk everywhere. I truly have no complaints! The staff was also super friendly and housekeeping was done everyday

I had a fantastic stay at Vali Byron. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, Joana the recepcionist is simply the best, I really appreciated her attention to detail and the warm hospitality throughout my stay. I would highly recommend Vali Byron to anyone visiting the city.

Amazing place, staff were exceptional. It's Run by Locals I was lucky enough to meet the owner ( or one of them ) she was absolutely lovely and very welcoming and professional. The place has great style and is situated in the heart of Byron Bay. A+ on all fronts. Also beds are very comfortable! Thank you, I will be back! Paul

Former backpackers turned hotel with a surface level cute facelift however mouldy bathroom & mouldy drains, so I felt a bit sick by end. Nice floors, no dirty carpet which was great but bleach doesn't kill mould, very hot non toxic soapy water & borax does! I would come back solo if they got rid of the mould for short stay rooms but too tight for a couple. People were very, very nice though & it's very central.

I've booked a room recently with my girlfriend and we were warmly welcomed, with a big smile, at the reception by Joanna. Besides the perfect service, she also gave us useful tips and recommendations regarding the different activities to do around Byron Bay. Thanks again !

Great location. Room was tidy and the staff cleaned my room daily. Bed was comfy. Met a lovely lady called Cookie, was so generous and recommending places for us to go to. She is a keeper! Also shoutout to the lady at reception.. can’t remember her name but she had an accent and brunette hair. She was lovely as well. Only downfall was the mould in the bathroom but other than that I did like the stay! Bed was super comfy as well and free parking!

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff and underground parking located right in the middle of Byron. Room wasn’t the biggest but the bed was very comfortable and facilities were modern.

The location and staff are awesome. It is a prior hostel converted so there is a communal kitchen and laundry you can use. Free parking in town centre was also a huge plus. We stayed with our dog, (and basically justified a very high room rate for this privilege), but if you don't have a pet you could definately get better value elsewhere. Our room could only be cleaned if we were out with our dog, which could be managed a bit better if they communicated a consistent time each day your room would be cleaned. Overall staff were accommodating where they could be.

Smelt of cigarettes. Kept up all night by drunks. Not the best location for a motel especially at the price point if you want to sleep. More of a backpacker vibe but costing $300
