Reluctant customer...my two vegan kids made me go here...And, I really liked it! One of the best meals I have had here in Spain. The stuffed mushrooms and roasted artichoke hearts were great. Staff friendly, vibe is cool. Tough to beat, and coming from the meat preferring Dad, that is saying a lot!

I was so happy there! The location and decorations is so nice! I really enjoy the meal! The service was awesome and i would like to recommend this place!

The best Restaurant ever. I ate in my life in many Restaurants (Restaurants with meat and Vegetarian/Vegan Restaurants) and this is by far the best one. The meal is great and the service is kind and capable. In my vacation I tried to eat there with my family as often as possible. If I visit Cadiz again, I will definitely visit the Restaurant again.

My friends and I went there for some beer. It was my first time having Vegan food since I am not vegan. I tried and loved all the food we had. Even my picky-eater boyfriend love it. Their selection of beer is excellent too. I've wanted to try a local brewery and this restaurant had a good beer. I'd definitely recommend it.

Love this place - sad it only opens at lunchtime. The seaweed fritters were particularly delicious. Peaceful little street but close to the busy cathedral area.

Very good vegan food. One of the only vegan restaurant in Cádiz. Tapas style dishes to share. They brought each dish after we finished the one before so it took a while. Everything was very good! Really good (and spicy) potatoes and amazing cake 🍰

For me this is one of the Best Vegan Restaurant on the earth! The variety of the food and the quality is just amazing. So tasty. You must try everything on the menu and you won't be disappointed.

We last visited here in 2018, it is still the finest all vegan restaurant in Cadiz. Perfect!

Good food, great drinks and Coffee! The food was good, although it had smaller quantities than I would prefer, but still it was enough to not feel hungry. You can notice that there is a lot of creativity on the vegetarian dishes, and the food was good! We have a cider to drink, and it was very good, the coffee was also a nice surprise. The desert options were limited, as most of it was sold out (I guess this shows the quality of the place, which was also full at the time), although the option we had wasn't that great, but still good enough. Nice people overall with a quick and nice service.

So good for vegetarians and vegans (and even if you’re not!!!) The beetroot salmorejo and seaweed fritters were my favourite… also an extensive menus of teas

Excellent and fresh vegan food with a varied and imaginative menu. La Veganesa has more than your standard veganized tapas laced with oil. We were pleased to have some tasty whole food based vegan dishes that were reasonably priced. My only gripe would be that service was slow and staff weren’t overly attentive. Dishes: The tartar was very fresh and flavoursome and served with a few sweet potato wedges and a spicy mayo. Seaweed fritters were almost sponge-like in texture (not in a bad way). They were light, not greasy and had a subtle seaweed flavour. Very enjoyable with a squeeze of lemon and the dip. Finally the chickpea stew was very flavoursome and I enjoyed the contrast of the meaty shiitake mushrooms mixed in. The paprika sauce had a great umami. Could have done with a bit of bread though. Definitely a must visit while in Cadíz!

Best vegan place we found in Cadiz. So good we went there two days in a row. The seaweed fritters are exceptional and the lentil tartare was very inventive. The atmosphere is great and the staff were all very friendly. Considering the standard of the food everything was very reasonably priced too

First vegan restaurant I’ve been where every plate was delicious and didn’t taste like you were eating diet food. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was great until it got crowded. As it’s common in this area, waitresses don’t seem to have any organization, so when the inside of the restaurant got full, they forgot they had tables outside. So we waited a very long time until they brought our last entree. Otherwise it was great. Make a reservation, it was completely full.

3.5 stars Overall, this place offers healthy, decent vegan fare and the interior is quite cute. I also appreciate the fact that they are the only vegan restaurant in town. However, i was so excited to visit this place so it turned out to be a letdown. The staff, while not unfriendly, is rather curt. We did not feel particularly welcome like we’re used to in Spain. I also found the prices to be relatively high. The service combined with the lack of a wow-factor made this a forgettable experience.

Absolute gem of a retsaurant. The food is superb, as good a vegaan experience as I've had anywhere, and it is still very reasonably priced. We sat outside but the interior is beautiful and the staff are great. Hugely recommended.

The food was very good, excellent table service and great selection of wine. Definitely a place to return.

This is an experience every vegan person should go for at least once in its life. One of the best vegan restaurants we've ever been to. Great service, the vegan "eggs" were just something unexpectedly awesome

The food is great. It's a reference for vegan meal in Cadiz and it was recommended by many non-vegetarians. Definitely worth it. The people were very friendly. The place was packed but we did not have to wait much. Other clients were finishing their meal and told us they were about to pay. Glad we did!

Omg! The seaweed fritters rival any falafel you’ve ever had! But everything is perfect and the interior is homey and no detail is left to chance! Very clean bathrooms and, again, very detailed and attentive to all needs. Nothing is left to chance, at the risk of repeating myself. Plates, presentation…Even the flat water was in a super nice bottle ( I forgot to take it:( ) All cooked SO well! No comments. We showed up unexpectedly before opening and all the outside tables were booked already - clearly very popular and now I understand why! Luckily there was a 3pm booking and we piggybacked on that for 90min as we came at 1:30 pm. Will always go back there. It’s on my food list now!

Really sad to write this review but everything we ordered was bland, tasteless and lacking in seasoning/ generally flavour. Nothing felt like it was freshly prepared and nothing was fresh, apart from a few salad leaves as garnish. Vegan food should and is, when cooked properly, filled with fresh colourful veg, bursting with flavours and makes you forget that it's vegan food. We we're sorely let down and based on the food only it would be minus stars (if possible) the staff we kind and friendly. Lots of plastic plants and flowers inside too 🙄😔

Delicious food, amazing cake, lovely people, and beautiful place!! Peaceful, inspiring... Don't underestimate the OLIVES, they are unique!!

We went there for lunch and were nicely surprised by the quality of the products and the originality of our plates which were delicious! We enjoyed our lunch! Staff was nice. The restaurant in itself is cute. Will definitely come back ! PS : I personally really liked the fact that you can find sanitary towels in the toilet.

Would really recommend if you are looking for vegan food in Cadiz. Friendly staff, good service and in a pleasant spot. Food was very good, particularly the skewers. Would definitely return next time we are in Cadiz.
