Having now visited both cathedrals in Seville and Cadiz, this cathedral is by far the better option in my opinion! Although slightly smaller in size to the one in Seville, it's beautiful architecture, monuments, and artwork make up for it. It's also slighlty cheaper to enter and more importantly, there is not a million other tourists in there and the same goes for the tower - no queue to get to the top and you have uninterrupted 360 views of both the city and the sea. Highly recommend if you have the the time to visit.

Lots of things to do and see. City is very walkable. Public transportation is good. Stay away from the hop on and hop off bus because of the time between buses. City is clean and people are friendly.

Always love going to Cadiz. Great Central plaza with shops and bars, and the view over cadiz from one of the many towers is worth seeing. The beach is not too shabby either!

You have to make your way here just to take in the sight. There is a great tourist info place (dark grey) just to the left of the cruise terminal. They are very helpful.

Lovely clean central square as you enter Cadiz. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Unfortunately the big chains have invaded this area. Mc and King!!!

Stopped here on a cruise. Lovely narrow streets with shops. Full of historic buildings.

Great charm, friendly people who definitely love to socialize in public space. Young and old use the square and restaurants. Narrow alleyways, most of which smell freshly scrubbed and well maintained despite their solid age.
