Es una de las cuatro playas que hay en la ciudad de Cádiz. Esta antes de la más conocida y amplia como es la playa victoria. Está limitado entre dos espigones que ayuda a mantener su arena. Tiene unos 500 metros de largo y bastante estrecha cuando hay pleamar. Muy concurrida y valorada aunque personalmente no es una de mis favoritas. Se llena de gente con facilidad y más los finde de semana. Tiene buenos accesos a ambos lados con una pendiente y una Intermedia con escaleras. También hay servimos de duchas tanto interiores como el exteriores en la misma arena aunque son claramente insuficientes. Si deseas tomar una copa y una tapa hay un chiringuito con terraza y sombrillas. También arriba hay algún bar de copas y tapas.
