Our second time in Cabo, our first time here. June 2023. Inflation has hit Cabo like a hurricane at most places. Some places have raised their prices up to 75% from last year. We FOUND the Happy Ending Cantina to have HONEST pricing on food and drinks with NO BS! Mundo took care of it twice, and he provided great service. We had the $5 Drink Special with two beers and two shots, along with the Rib Dinner and the El Patron burger. Fairly priced and DELICIOUS! Hats off to the chef! Honestly, the BEST food we had here in the past two weeks, and we're staying at an all-inclusive hotel, and the food this year is unsatisfactory. GOOD people. GREAT drinks. DELICIOUS food. NO Bvll$h!t

Our favorite spot to grab a drink and some food in Cabo. The prices are beyond reasonable. The tamarind margarita is my favorite thing to drink here! They play lots of 80s music and videos which is fun. The staff all seem very friendly and responsive! The food is good and the portion sizes are insane for the price.

One of my all-time favorite places in Cabo. Traditional original Cabo bar with a five dollar special, two shooters of tequila and two beer. How can you go wrong? The chicken, wings and hardshell tacos are amazing only $2.00 each. The margaritas are excellent.

My 2nd time in Cabo and I've visited this place more than any other place. The staff are nice and the drinks are great! Can't go wrong with cheap shots and beer. The food is good.

Been here several times, it's been awesome before. This time we were very disappointed. 4 of us sat at the bar (it was fairly slow) ordered food and drinks, we found out they had the college football game we were hoping to see on the TV. We ordered several drinks, etc. But we're constantly ignored. I gave them $20 so maybe they would pay attention to us, still nothing. Maybe another $10, still ignored. Ended up spending about $200 US. Paid with credit card and tipped 20% on there, and they actually asked if we could tip in cash. I said, I already tipped in cash, so, no. The owner was there too. Not sure if we will go back after that night.

Terrific, strong margaritas. The only food we ordered was tacos. The chicken taco was good the steak taco tasted like the meat had gone bad. Fun place though, I’d go back. Inexpensive. Margaritas were $4 and tacos were $2.

This was a daily stop on our vacation to Cabo. The drinks, service, food, prices, and overall feel of the bar cannot be beat! I’m fairly certain I could eat off the bathroom floor, that’s how clean it is. The carne asada fries were my favorite but we didn’t have a meal or drink we didn’t love. Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic spot in Cabo! Thanks Axel and your crew! You might think there is no way the food and drinks are that cheap, but this place is the real deal. We had the El Patron burger and a chicken burrito, both were good. With the food, 1 margarita and 5 Pacifico it was $26 USD/520 pesos plus tip. Great staff and fun mixed bag music! Strongly recommend!!

This place is great! Very reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. Spent some time speaking with the owner who is an interesting and really nice guy. I think I could talk to him for hours. Thanks for the good conversation "El Jefe" from the Minnesota Crew.

We wandered into Happy Ending towards the beginning of our trip and never looked back, visiting 4 out of our 7 day trip! This became our preferred watering hole due to the insanely smooth double tequila shot (and to my dismay wasn't able to purchase a bottle at the airport-yes that good), the absolutely fantastic food (those amazing nachos, steak quesadilla and chicken wings were all a home run and incredible value). Loved watching sports, music, drinks and our barkeep Fernando was always on point). Cannot recommend this place more highly for a casual experience surrounded by both tourists and locals alike- dont forget to definitely check out the beer pong games occurring in back. We will be back in next visit!

I just adore this place. The baby back ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The ceilings are dripping with memorabilia. Regina the owner has a great restaurant and wonderful staff. Drinks and food is priced right!!! I've gone back again and again and again!!!😋😋😋

The food was so delicious! Their guacamole is a must try!!! The tostadas were on point, topped with the green salsa and you are in heaven! The drinks were absolutely delicious and very very well priced!

Food was ok not great. Drinks were regular. Atmosphere of course every place really try to get you in.

Great place. Played a cool BBC music video with the mist random vids! We loved it. Deals on tequila shots and yummy frozen Margaritas! We'll be back! Comfy bar chairs. ;)

Great place for drinks and catching a sports game. If no sports are on, they have the best music around. Old school MTV style. You won’t find better food at this price. Looks like a dive bar at first until you go inside and realized it’s all people just like you and me enjoying themselves.

Wonderful cantina in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, Best tacos I’ve had in my life. Service was bright and attentive. The scenery was welcoming.

Just stayed for the Corona drink special (with a shot of tequila) but great, fast service and a burrito (which was very tasty! Very nostalgic joint with bills hanging from the ceiling and police badges from all over in the foyer and covering the posts throughout! Really cool place!

This is the best bar in Cabo, worth the 5 minute taxi ride. Firefighter friendly, y’all come check this one out!

I love this place!!! Spent two weeks in Cabo and went many times. Lots of happy endings!!! Their 2 double shots of tequila and 2 beers for $5 is an unbeatable price.. Staff is friendly, and the food is great too! Always lively. We bought tons of merchandise to take home. My Dad lives here for the majority of the year and it's his favourite local. I can see why! Can't wait to go back again!

If you are lucky enough to visit Cabo San Lucas you owe it to yourself to visit The Happy Ending Cantina. It’s very easy to find near the Marina. Ask just about anyone they will know where it is. My wife and I have been regulars for years. Try it once and you will be a regular visitor too. The atmosphere is just plain fun, plenty of big screen TVs to watch all of your favorite teams and some TVs show great music videos to please all tastes. The restrooms are very clean and are serviced on a very regular basis to keep them top notch. Happy Ending is fun for all tastes mild to wild without being over the top out of control. The security staff keeps a close eye out for problems so you always feel safe. The staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to remember you. The special is two double shots of smooth tequila and two beers for $5 USD all day long. Yep $5 no kidding. If you’re hungry they have a great menu of excellent dishes. We have tried just about everything and it’s all fresh and tasty. We have found it difficult to find a nice green fresh salad while in Mexico, no worries, they offer a couple of wonderful choices all at very inexpensive prices. If you’re lucky the owner Gene (El Jefe) will be in the house to meet you. He is a very interesting man with a unique background. His knowledge of the early days of Cabo is also interesting. Don’t pass on buying a couple of their colorful shirts (they are works of art) or visit the boutique. You will see people all over town wearing these T-shirt’s proudly, as do I. Give The Happy Ending a try, you won’t be disappointed!
