This resort was EVERYTHING!!! We went for 5 days and had a beautiful time. We were greeted with drinks upon arrival, which was great since we had to wait about an hour for our room. Thankfully they had a sitting area, bar, and even had a gift shop all at the resort entrance while we waited. They have plenty of pools, hot tubs, and an even a swim up bar which we loved! Food was superb! So many different options at each restaurant. We literally enjoyed all of it. Room service was on point and available 24 hours, and housekeeping properly maintained our rooms everyday. Staff were so professional and happy to accommodate us and our needs. I also enjoyed watching the dolphins from our room, as they’re right next door, and the resort sits high up since it’s built on a mountain. Perfect location as activities and excursions are in walking distance (right across the street from resort) providing a strip of things to do and shopping locally. 10/10 would recommend and even return again!

We love this place. We will definitely come back! We talked with Minerva who was attentive and helpful. If you come, skip the timeshare presentation at the beginning and don't hesitate to ask about the amenities - food and drink orders at the pool, walking to the swim beach, etc. The hotel is super close to the marina - buy your excursions there! Don't be afraid to check around for the best price. Already looking forward to our next trip!

This place is great if you are looking for a decent and affordable all-inclusive. I will caveat that the food starts to taste the same after 3 nights. There are also tons of great restaurants nearby, which makes it frustrating to know you’ve already purchased food from the hotel. There’s not a ton to do at the resort during the day besides the pool since you can’t swim at the beach. Also, the concierge is a joke and they are just trying to sell timeshares. We would have appreciated someone who actually wanted to help us to find excursions. The night time shows were excellent though! The beach and views were beautiful from the resort! Wine selection is abysmal, definitely don’t drink the wine. The all inclusive wines tasted like they had been open for some time, and the wine list to purchase had a few good options but not very many. We ordered a bottle of wine that was hard to drink and we’re told that if we didn’t want to pay for it, our waiter would have to foot the bill for “not properly telling us about the wine.” I find this policy appalling and we ended up just paying for the wine but not drinking it. The rooms were cleaned everyday, but we sometimes could smell mildew in the bathroom. The beds also need to be vacuumed as there was tons of sand in the mattress. Staff was very friendly and helpful! This would be a great place to stay with a group of people if you’re looking to party. Not the best place to stay if you want to do more than just relax. If you stay here, we recommend checking out the marina which is close by and booking activities like snorkeling and sailing excursions.

My husband and I wanted to highlight how fabulous Norma and Joel were as server's at the adults only pool. Both of them were absolutely perfect! They were so friendly, fast, and always anticipating our next need. They truly made us feel welcome every single day we were there - which was 8 days! And they were always very polite and professional. Make sure to keep your eyes out for these two if you are at the adults only pool - they will make your stay amazing!! Thank you to Norma and Joel, my husband and I truly appreciate everything you did for us!!

Excellent resort. Armando and Jaime at Agave were the best servers we ever had! The pool staff was also amazing, as well as the front desk. Best staff at a resort. Food was great! Only downside you can't swim here in the ocean, but the views are amazing. Gym is small :( but views make up for it. Entertainment was fun too!

The moment we turned the corner in the plane over the ocean to land I knew Cabo was special! The ride to the Sandos was gorgeous. Cabo is so full of life and culture. Pulling in to the resort gives you an amazing view of their waterfall at the entrance. You see buildings that look like they’re carved in to the side of a cliff. It really is something spectacular to see! You’re directly across the street from the Marina, bars, restaurants and shopping. You’re a minute walk to a water taxi and all excursions to go see some beautiful sites. From the moment we arrived our service was amazing. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Over the week we got to know some of the staff. I would love to give a big shout out to Norma, Macbeth and Jesus from the pool bar. They made our trip memorable and were lovely to see every day! Always greeted us with a smile. I’d also like to recognize Alberto and the crew at the Tortuga Bar! They make the best dirty martinis and were always happy to see us. Please tell them Laura from Canada says hello! The sunrise and sunsets light up the buildings around you and make it extra spectacular. The food was great on and off the resort and the cleanliness of it was top notch! My room was always immaculate. I 10000000% recommend (the parties were fun too). If you are looking to book for a wedding I recommend the mountaintop terrace for reception! The wedding planners were amazing as well for my girlfriends special day. Everything was very well executed! Our hair and makeup was also very very well done! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The resort is lovely and the service is excellent! The staff is very professional and attentive. I must mention Oscar in particular, because we had a sick son who needed a doctor, then hospital (both excellent, by the way) then prescriptions and a phone left in the cab- suddenly we were very high maintenance guests. Front desk staff took over for us, then Oscar took care of everything it wouldn’t have even occurred to me to ask for- amazing and gracious. I am so impressed and thankful!

Had a great time at Sandos Finisterra! Wendy, Chris and Donna were amazing. Had a lot of fun pool side with this trio. Norma was the greatest poolside server I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this resort and the team that makes it so fantastic!

I’m writing a review to sing the praises of our butler Ernesto Russo at La Finisterra resort in Lis Cabos, Mexico. Ernesto went above and beyond to help make our stay special. He took such a personal interest in our comfort and satisfaction. I have some mobility issues ( bad back and knees) and he made sure I had the easiest way to navigate the resort and getting rides to where we wanted to go. He came often to check on us and make sure everything was to our liking. I can’t say enough good things about him. We feel like we were friends by the time we left. We appreciate him so much! Ernesto is a definite asset to La Finisterra.

This was for our honeymoon and they hooked us up with an amazing suite. Incredible views of the marina and we got to see the dolphin exhibit from our room! Ismael at the private pool area is an outstanding bartender! He made us great drinks, remembered our favorite drinks and even brought my wife a bag of candy from a store he stopped at. Macbeth on the poolside bar was also great! Wendy on the entertainment staff was a blast and made us feel at home. Francisco in the whale watchers bar went out of his way to make us amazing espresso martinis. Overall a great experience and the food was top notch! I would definitely come back here.

Absolutely amazing experience! Enrique, Yuki, Fernando and Gloria the entertainment team go above and beyond to make your experience personal, uplifting and consistently exciting. What this resort has to offer is never ending. Amazing food, staff, service and everywhere you go there’s people welcoming you! As a group of 9 (2 family’s) we’ve had 0 Complaints, quick service and have had multiple things accommodated for the larger group with no hassle. We haven’t even left and we’re all planning the trip to come back next year. The one and only resort my family has come back to twice in a row for good reason. 100000 stars!!

Don Diego’s waiters were par excellent. Very attentive! They learn your name and each time you return they call you by name. Each have their own personality, but are always gracious and quick to respond to every need. The chef in the omelets bar makes perfect omelette and has an excellent memory. He knows exactly what I want in the daily omelets

I can’t say enough good things about Sandos Finisterra in Cabo. The entire staff are friendly and accommodating to every need. A few standouts : Carlos our Butler checked in everyday to see what we needed. He Helped make our dinner reservations and made sure everything was going as planned. Our waiters Ricardo & Oscar were top notch. The bartender at Tortuga made hands down the best espresso martini. Highly recommend Getting a drink there! The entertainment staff Enrique and friends making everyone feel included. The cupcake cafe and wait staff at pool. Plenty of delicious food options throughout the resort and a great variety of evening shows. Karen at the spa was amazing. There really is something for everyone. Can’t wait to visit again!

We came here for our Honeymoon and we were instantly greeted with Margaritas upon walking in the resort and treated like royalty the entire time. Our rooms were kept clean everyday and the entire staff is fantastic and extremely accommodating. Enrique made our experience super fun by providing activists everyday and being super engaging and friendly! I do also want to say that our waiter by the pool Carlos was above and Beyond incredible. He checked in on us everyday we were lounging poolside and made sure our cups were never empty and we also had some delicious ceviche or sushi nearby! If you’re looking for an amazing relaxing and restorative stay. Come here! Ask for Carlos poolside! You will not be disappointed! Can’t wait to come back on anniversaries and more vacations!

This is for Enrique ☺️ I had the best week at this resort. The staff were incredible - always friendly and smiling, always checking in and making sure we had what we needed, and constantly encouraging us to join in on the endless activities they offered. The rooms were impeccable and always clean. The food variety was large. The taco stand was my favourite. The only thing I would change is being able to swim in the ocean from the resort, but that’s not something the resort itself can control.

We had the most amazing wedding here @ Sandos Finisterra. The entire staff was absolutely phenomenal. My favorites were Alberto and Francisco, they gave the best service during our wedding and did an amazing job @ Don Diego. Their service is the best I’ve ever had. Also Norma and Gabriel at the pool did an amazing job keeping our drinks full. Yuki was so fun dancing and water arobics. Abel @ the cupcake cafe made us feel @ home as well. We are so thankful for you beautiful people and will absolutely come back. Our hearts are so full, we love all of you beautiful people. Thank you all so much.

Our time at the resort was great. The staff were very friendly.. Food was good other than than Algiva restaurant, steak..rubber!… they water down the alcohol….we drank all day by the pool and didn’t even get a buzzzz. Went to Costco one day and bought a couple bottles of wine and we both said wow…they are watering down the drinks….anyway we had a nice time. Go again?….Probably not.

Had a great time and experience at Sandos. Oscar was my personal concierge. Oscar helped me even before I arrived, to set up a suprise for my wife upon arrival. He helped me setup a romantic touch in the room with petals and flowers. Oscar was very attentive to our needs throughout our week stay. He was even working to assist while he was away from his job. Our stay here was more enjoyable because of his attentiveness.

Yuki is an amazing host!! Ton of positive energy for the special events, and we love the resort. i took my parents here for the first time and the room is great, and so is the service. Really appreciate the Sandos team and entertainment team 👏👏

We had such a wonderful time at this resort! Definitely will be coming back. The staff is so incredibly friendly. Daniella, Fernando, Enrique, and Norma are some of the many amazing staff that helped us during our stay. I loved that the pools and restaurants were not overly crowded. It made the trip much more enjoyable.

From the moment we arrived Oscar was so helpful. I had Cileac and he wrote a letter and walked me to the restaurants to ensure my allergies were taken care of. I also was stung by a jelly fish and he ensured I had medicine. He greeted us each time we were in the lobby and even checked up on how I was feeling. We will be back. Thank you Oscar for your incredible care and service

This place is a joke. Don’t waste your money here. Much better places to stay in Cabo. The alcohol is definitely watered down and bottom shelf. I’m a bartender, and can tell you that they were some of the worst drinks I’ve ever had. Also, 4 of us just wanted to get some tacos at one of the restaurants before having to get ready for the wedding and it took them forever just to acknowledge that we were there for them to seat us at a table. When we finally were sat, no one ever came by to take our order. Ended up leaving and didn’t get anything to eat because we ran out of time before we had to start getting ready. Also, they have a ridiculous policy that if you’re not staying at the resort, that you have to purchase a $100 day pass pp to attend the wedding and can only stay until 11pm. After that, you have to purchase a night pass. Which doesn’t make any sense, because all the facilities are closed, so what are you paying for? Everyone just wanted to be together for the wedding and hang out with the bride and groom for their special day that they spent a fortune on. For how expensive a wedding is to have there, I feel wedding guests should be able to stay and enjoy being with everyone. The guards were so rude by making people leave. It’s was embarrassing.

Leo from Don Diego’s restaurant was amazing! They treated my husband and I as if we were their most important customers. I am incredibly impressed by their attention to detail and kindness. My husband and I have been to numerous resorts but have ne er experienced this level of excellent customer service. Miguel the manager said it’s a testament to the great leadership that starts with the top and that every employee matters. Their joy is contagious! Gracias!

Miguel is a wonderful man! I met him on my first night at the resort and he was so tremendously helpful and patient while we were with a large group! His lovely service made our first evening at Sandos so much easier. On my last night, it was such a nice surprise to both see him again and to know that he remembered me! During that last dinner, we also had this lovely server, Gustavo, who was very attentive and a joy to converse with. Both Miguel and Gustavo made our time at Sandos so wonderful with how attentive and accommodating they are, especially with their ability to easily and smoothly toggle between Spanish and English! :D

We visited Sandos with a group of 9 for 6 days. It was our first trip to Cabo and we LOVED the resort and entertainment. The location is fantastic and close to the marina and downtown. The entertainment was exceptional. We enjoyed several activities with Enrique, who in his first few days of employment was fantastic, and Luis led a very fun painting class. Norma excelled in service at the adult pool. Overall, a nice sized resort (not too big) with comfortable beds, good food and great service. Will definitely come back!

Yuki and Norma staff of the resort were the literal best! They made our experience extremely amazing they treated our group of friends like family. Everyone was very attentive to what we needed and so kind. The food and drinks were delicious at all of the restaurants and bars. I felt extremely safe the entire time everything was clean. The front desk staff was extremely helpful when getting transportation into the downtown area and getting help finding things.

You will rarely find a place with such amazing service. From arrival onward, the staff makes each person feel seen and valued. Thanks to Alvaro who guided us to our rooms, Miguel who made us feel special each time we crossed paths, and Gloria and Fernando (and their teammates) who kept us all entertained and energized. The blue skies, immaculate rooms and surroundings, and perfect weather were all simply marvelous. Explore or just stay by the pool...it's all fantastic. I'm so grateful!

Sandos is a good resort to stay at, although it is not the best I have been to in Mexico it is not awful. The waitstaff is so incredibly kind, they are very understaffed and are doing an amazing job at keeping great service with this predicament. The entertainment is amazing, we had so much fun here on Halloween, every night there was something to look forward to! They truly are all having fun working here and that’s so awesome to see! The pools are amazing, and the drinks and bars are all perfect!! The location is the best. And the views are UNBEATABLE! These were all marks that the resort hit with a 10/10! Unfortunately the food was awful while we were here, and the rooms were nothing like the pictures. There is no wifi, and we were out of hot water for the majority of the trip. The staff was so kind in making up for all of this and treated us so well! The parts that this resort lacked in they definitely made up! Not sure if I would stay here again, but my trip was still fun!

The atmosphere is amazing, the staff was very attentive and go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The restaurants on site were enjoyable each with there own identity. The food was very good and plenty of options means not having the same thing twice. The Whale Watchers bar was amazing and had some of the best views. If there is a wedding party or big group during your stay the night club will be a cool spot to be.

Our first night here we had dinner at Don Diego. Our server was named Enrique and he provided the best of the best service anyone could ask for. I have been to five diamond resorts, five star hotels, and exclusive venues and I was treated with better service and more joyous attention then I have ever received. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase a VIP status and receive a gold wristband with my stay and I have felt every bit of what a VIP actually stands for with every bit of service I have received. The drinks are plenty and the food is endless. If you are ever able to come and enjoy this experience, I highly recommend it!

I initially posted this review to raise the problem we had with room service. Now I am leaving an expanded review after stay. Unfortunately, our overall experience was not good and I will not go to this hotel again. First impression: we arrived after multiple flights with kid and when got the room, the room was not cleaned up! So we we had to go back all the way to lobby and get a new room. View: we were impressed with the nice view of the restaurants and areas on top. I will miss that part. Food: The quality of food was good. Waiters are trying to do the best but they cannot serve very well when busy. For non-elite members, the breakfast buffet was good but the exact same items are served every day! Room service: We never had such bad experience with room service. I guess something is wrong with the operator who answers the call. The front desk persons seem very reasonable people but when you call 0, everything is quite random. I should mentioned ghat after we complained, I had the feeling that they paid more attention and we got orders on-time twice! Noisy neighbors: we had bunch of young boys in two sides of our room and we couldn’t sleep well for two nights. Maybe it was our fault that we didn’t report to front desk and we asked them directly to “please” be quite around 1:30 am. We woke once at around 4:30am with their shouts in hallway. After telling night manager, he seemed to manage it and we could sleep for the last night. Good people: the seek and go guys were super supportive and very nice. Front desk is also polite and trying to help. Last impression: we couldn’t have bellman coming when checking out despite several request i had personally and by calling. My overall thought is that hotel is understaff and they cannot manage well when they have all rooms booked.

I came here for my best friend’s wedding. I have to say pictures do not do it justice! This resort is absolutely gorgeous. I stayed in the junior suite and absolutely loved my room. The food was very tasty and they have great amenities. I had the best massage of my life at the spa. This resort exceeded my expectations and I am already trying to plan another trip to visit! An absolute top resort for all inclusive!

We went to Sandos Finisterra for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. I cannot wait to go back. The resort is gorgeous. I recommend a room with a marina view. The restaurants were all excellent (Tortuga was our favorite). The only thing I would point out is that the beach is no swimming however the resort is in a perfect location and you can take a short 10 minute walk to the marina and take a water taxi to other beaches near by. Highly recommend Sandos Finisterra.

This place is amazing, the room where always clean thanks to housekeeping even though I had 5 kids in that room. Also the housekeeping was lovely and there work was excellent. Minerva in the entertainment group was extremely nice and funny and her dance moves where very good. Nelson from the cupcake coffee shop was very friendly and his coffee was really good. Also Nelson is just the best staff out there ! Honestly I would come back just for him and if you let him know ! That Adrian wrote this comment!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Sandos! It’s been amazing and the staff had been beyond helpful and super welcoming to me and my friends for spring break. Armando has been amazing at catering us and welcoming us here at the restaurant in Don Diego, that’s offered by the resort. He leads a friendly staff and amazing food to exceed the satisfaction of the people! I’ll be recommending Sandos to everyone, and make sure they keep an eye out for Armando!

Very well kept resort. Extremely clean. Very friendly and accommodating service. Food was good and generous portions. Great location within walking distance to the downtown. All the programs are fun. Nikki, the hotel manager, is ever present and the best! We couldn’t find the chocolate covered shortbread cookies that greeted us in our room. We asked her about them and she had a plate of them delivered to our room every evening. Would come here again and again.

Danna, sexy Wendy and Chris were absolutely incredible with the entertainment by the pool. The whole stay was amazing— the views were the best I’ve seen at a resort. The food and drinks were great quality and the food was good at every restaurant. We will be back here in the future.

Everything about our stay was enjoyable. The staff and service were great. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were multiple bars throughout the hotel to enjoy drinks, and the restaurants did not require reservations, allowing you to eat at your leisure. The property is well-maintained, and the views of the ocean and marina are spectacular. We enjoyed the fact the marina and downtown area were within walking distance. We plan on returning in the future.

The staff at this resort strive to make it a fun, safe, and memorable experience. Breathtaking views! January is whale migration season and you could see them from the beach! Entertainment poolside and at night was great! Bartenders/servers provided great service!
