Wrong choice of location. Paid for the second most expensive room (3K a night) with private pool and beach access. Was told beach was not maintained at arrival. Wind is very strong and cold. It feels good for party seeker. Definitely not a relaxing place or family friendly. The famous Nobu was also a letdown since it tastes similar to a regular fusion Japanese restaurant anywhere. Hotel staff and restaurant waitress have a habit of “heads down” and ignore you even if you actively try to get their attention. Only plus side is the architectural design of the hotel which is pretty nice and the only reason why this review is not 1-star. Hard rock next door is a way better choice and cheaper.

Staff were very helpful, honestly the best run front desk I’ve been to. They remembered me by name and had everything ready whenever I needed it. The property itself was beautiful as well. The architecture was gorgeous and the pools were all designed beautifully. Rooms were very comfortable and featured some incredible features like the wooden bathtub. The food at the different restaurants was good too, we really enjoyed the different dishes across the resort. The spa was beautiful as well. My big complaint is that the location sucks. I’ve spent months in Cabo and this side is extremely windy all the time - It’s colder, and the ocean can’t be used and it’s far away from everything so you’re basically forced to stay on resorts. Speaking of which, this place is wildly overpriced for food and drinks. Expect to spend $150-500 anytime you eat depending on how much you drink. But you should expect that so I won’t say it’s a negative, just something to point out. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for people that haven’t been, I wish I could give a 4.5. But the location was just not the best for such a great resort and people should be aware that they are going to be blown away (literally) and should pack a jacket or two. I enjoyed it but think once was enough for me and will stick to the other side of Cabo.

It’s hard to put into words the experience at Nobu Los Cabos. As one of the most luxurious resorts in Cabo, you have high expectations.. and they absolutely deliver. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be blown away by the extremely attentive and detailed level of hospitality you receive. Not enough can be said about how amazing the staff is at this hotel, and our concierge Diego was phenomenal. Everyone greets you with a warm smile and wants to know how they can help you. The overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the resort is so relaxing, calm and beautiful. You’re right on the ocean with whales breaching while you relax at the pool and eat amazing food. You’re surrounded by beautiful gardens and architecture, and everything is high end. You can really see the detail they put into every single thing. The hallway leading to your room immediately sets the mood for a cozy and intimate environment, and the rooms are beautifully decorated and built. It’s such a relaxing setting, allowing you to feel worlds away. I cannot recommend this resort enough!

I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. My fiancé and I came here with high expectations, but we were let down multiple times. The hotel room smelled like gutter, the food was average, and they lied to us about a $50 food credit, which was NOT credited to us at check out. Also, the hotel is in the middle of no where and you can’t even swim. WORST LOCATION. Overpriced hotel that ruined our first trip together. VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! 😡

Nobu = screaming toddlers -- Wonderful property with tasteful design. It's too bad there are screaming children everywhere at all hours of the day. I would have given 5 stars if they made one of the two main pools adults only. We couldn't find peace and quiet for more than 30 minutes our entire trip. While the service at the pools/bars/restaurants was courteous, it was always very slow, and a 15% service charge was added automatically to each bill. The food was simply wonderful. You can tell a lot of effort went into the menu selection.

Excellent place to stay. Everything is extremely well cared. Everywhere you look each detail is perfect. The staff is extremely polite and accommodating to each request (always with a smile). Rooms are spacious and very stylish (bit tv, electric curtains, hot tub and shower). Common areas are clean, well kept and always in order. Only thing to say: for this price tag the complementary breakfast would be appreciated. Everything you consume in the hotel (drinks, wine, lunch, etc.) is quite expensive (for 2 persons expect approximately 500$ per day of extras if you consume each mean in the hotel). The quality of the food is extremely high, with a wide range of choices.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. For the amount of money that you have to pay to be here compared to the other options in town this is not worth it at all. Other than my stay I must share the lack of customer service I have experienced with this hotel which is by far the worst I have come across. Be mindful I travel on a monthly basis and never had such a horrible experience with a front desk and accounting staff before. The hotel has charged me twice for my stay. Which is two charges of $3,417.00 for a 3 night reservation. After I checked out and returned to Los Angeles I realize I was charged twice. This is has become a $6,834.00 weekend for more than 6 months and I still have not received the refund to one of my cards. I stayed at the Nobu in Cabo in March 2022 one charge was on my Mastercard and a second on my American Express. When I reach out to the hotel to get something done no one there knows what do. It is more than 6 months now that they are holding my money and still no result. If you want to enjoy your vacation and come back relaxed instead of stressed I highly recommend to book elsewhere. The amount of time I have had to spend on email and on the phone with the bank or hotel exceeds the stress level compared to what I was actually able to enjoy while on property at Nobu Los Cabos.

Wow! I had an amazing stay at the Nobu Hotel. Even before arriving to the property I was impressed. I reached out to the concierge to arrange some things during my stay. All of my emails were replied to so promptly and all the concierge's went above and beyond to help me- Alex helped me get a cake from a bakery in town and had it brought to my room. The housekeeping staff, pool attendants, waiters, and coffee bar ladies truly care about making the guests have the best stay. I stopped at the coffee bar in the mornings and was always greeted with the biggest smiles- Selena makes the best iced coffees! The rooms, facilities, spa, beach, pool are all impeccably kempt! Options for food are plentiful and absolutely delicious. You will love it here!!

Nobu Los Cabos Resort surpassed all expectations. The stunning coastal landscape provides a breathtaking backdrop for this gem of a resort. From the sleek and modern design to the impeccable service, every detail exudes elegance and tranquility. The fusion of traditional Japanese dishes with South American and Mexican influences at Nobu restaurant is a culinary masterpiece. With its commitment to top-quality ingredients and a delightful selection of cocktails, Nobu Los Cabos Resort truly crafts an unforgettable and luxurious experience.

Don’t let the cheap rooms fool you. The price for food and drinks are astronomical (or, standard with this kind of high end hotel. Depending on your view). $15 for a large bottle of water, $27 a cocktail around the pool, $11 for a beer. $30 average for kids meal. This, I suppose, is what’s to be expected from a Nobu property. I highly recommend getting a car so you can visit the local area and not be locked in.

Overall, the Nobu Hotel is quite nice. There are great amenities, and the property is luxurious. The location has great views, but it is secluded from everything. My biggest complaint is in regards to food. The food and drinks were average, but the pricing did not reflect the quality. Please review the menus before booking. Also, if you need a ride to downtown Cabo the price is 44 dollars each way from the hotel. Uber is available.

I can NOT say enough amazing things about this resort. It’s absolutely beautiful!!! We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and it was just perfect. From check in, meeting all the amazing staff and if I could mention Hector Humbert, one of the managers there and he personally talked with us and made sure we were happy and enjoying our time. Such a personal touch on customer service! Speaking of that, you will be assigned a personal concierge. Allow me to tell you about mine, Montserrat Castro! She went above and beyond to assist us. Booking dinners, and reservations, transportation, sent a beautiful anniversary gift!! Just the best service you could dream of!!! Thank you so much Nobu !! We loved eating at the Nobu and trying your signature drinks and yummy deserts.

I recently stayed at Nobu Hotel Los Cabos and I must say, I was blown away by the amazing service provided by the staff. Every member of the team was extremely friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The attention to detail was impressive and I felt very well taken care of throughout my entire stay. The food options at Nobu were great, although on the pricey side. The quality of the food was excellent, and the presentation was top-notch. If you're willing to splurge, I recommend trying out their restaurants, especially Nobu. I stayed in a junior suite, and it was amazing. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very stylishly decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was luxurious. The room was cleaned and maintained impeccably every day. The hotel is a bit secluded, but that also adds to its charm and exclusivity. I wish there was more events Nobu offered. One other critique would be to limit any offering of timeshares. This isn’t the type of hotel I would expect for them to be offering timeshare presentations. Overall, I had an amazing stay at Nobu Hotel. The service, food, and accommodations were all top-notch, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

Beautiful property. Only two restaurants to choose from for dinner. After 11 there is no entertainment at all. Spa massages seemed very rushed. Overall stay was good but I wouldn’t return. Fiji is $10 at the restaurants. Or the same for sparkling water. Food is overpriced for no reason. Small portions. If I knew better I would’ve stayed at the hard rock and got drinks and food included for half the price of one night stay here.

Room was great , staff was very nice and pool area/s are great. really good food menu at pool. coffee shop in lobby is good. a few notes- did not like the repeated attempts to try and push the new nobu residence tour on us. i understand the level of hotel and restaurants but prices are extremely expensive for food, drink and spa. the hotel is really nice but it is still not the extreme luxury locations which charge the same for these services.

My husband and I had a wonderful week at Nobu! Our concierge, driver, and the entire staff were kind and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the views are to die for! It's expensive, but you definitely get your money's worth!

They never miss the mark in service and quality. This is the place you want to be when you want to relax and be taken care of. I especially love their staff and the amount of effort they put into making you feel comfortable. The amenities are top notch, both in quality and quantity. There’s many pools to choose from, there’s the beautiful ocean just in the back of the hotel and the food is one of the best I’ve tried. Just keep in mind that you won’t find traditional Mexican food in this hotel, despite what they tell you. Nevertheless, their fusion cuisine impressed me.

An amazing experience without doubt. The service is excellent. The hotel assigns you your own personal ambassador who you can contact from your phone via WhatsApp. When you're around the hotel all the staff is kind and say hello when you pass by. Any questions or problems are quickly solved by them as well. There are plenty of pools. No toys or things for children to play around with. Towels everywhere for you to grab one if needed, sunscreen as well. Most of the pools are warm and there are a couple of jacuzzis where you can experience a hotter temperature. The rooms are amazing. Some of them even have their own private pool for use. Others have a fantastic view from the balcony. The bed is great, queen size. Automatic curtains and the bathroom is one of the most polish I've seen. The restaurants are quite expensive. And overall everything inside the resort is like that. If you go here prepare yourself for this. Although the experience is really good, I believe the price could be improved. The food is on point. We ate different kinds of plates and all of them were great. Room service and cleaning is seamless. You won't even notice it. They will pass by your room probably twice every day, once for cleaning and the next one to prepare your room for the night (leave some snack cookies, water, etc). Something to consider is the windy weather. We are by the ocean and the wind is quite annoying. Mostly at the end of May and the beginning of June. This causes that even having high temperatures you need a jacket or sweater sometimes if you don't want to feel cold. It helps a lot that the pools are temperature controlled. The location is pretty far away from anything. You cannot walk to the town or to nearby places outside the resort easily without having a car, unless you want to walk for hours. You'll probably need to arrange transportation with the hotel. Downtown is 30-40 minutes away. Overall a must try if you can.

My husband and I held all our wedding events at Nobu from November 3rd – November 7th in 2022. We visited the hotel in May 2022 and booked our wedding weekend there shortly after. Before I get into the details, I want to emphasize that we had an absolute amazing weekend and are so happy we found Nobu and contracted them to host our wedding! Our expectations were exceeded, and while anyone can expect their wedding guests to compliment their events, ours gushed about how awesome it was for them too. When we first looked at the contract, we negotiated with Marcela. She was great and responsive in adjusting the contract to suit our wants and needs. I am very spreadsheet focused and wanted to be super clear on complete and total costs for everything including all taxes, service charges, fees, etc. I would repeatedly send her new spreadsheets for her to confirm, and I asked a ton of questions about the rules in the contact to make sure we were on the same page and that I had a clear understanding. She was patient and took the time to confirm everything, even though I am sure it was quite repetitive for her. After we signed the contract, Nina was our contact for planning. While everyone at Nobu was wonderful to work with, I am particularly grateful we were lucky enough to have Nina to help us. Nobu should be thrilled and proud to employ her! I continually updated and sent my spreadsheet to confirm costs with her as we planned and things changed like our guest count, the events we had, or our food/beverage/accommodation selections. When I totaled everything after we settled the final bill, there we no surprises or adjustments I need to call about. We also had a wedding planner in the mix, and Nina spoke to her regularly as well. Nina is professional, warm, quick to respond, and a problem solver. During the actual wedding weekend, we asked to add on extra time for things like our Welcome Event, where she helped to organized more drinks and staff. She checked in with me throughout the weekend without being overbearing at all. There are two things in particular that stand out: 1. During our post-reception after party, a group of 4 hotel guests that we did not know came into the private ballroom and tried to stay. Admittedly I’d been celebrating for a few hours and was in a great mood, so at first I thought “why not? Our bar is already paid for!” I greeted them and said to enjoy a drink and sign our guest book. Nina checked with me to make sure that it was something I actually wanted, which helped me realized I didn’t want strangers in our photos or celebrating with us and our friends. Sheepishly I asked her to let them have a drink and then ask them to leave but not blame it on me, and instead say the hotel wouldn’t allow it or something. She graciously offered them complimentary drinks at the hotel next door instead, but unfortunately they gave her a quite a hard time about it. Regardless, she handed it kindly and professionally and didn’t try to include me in asking them to leave. I really appreciate her being willing to take on such an awkward situation and handle it so well. Her skills are very valuable and appreciated! 2. Our guest book was misplaced, and she went on a hunt to fund it for us. A bartender thoughtfully brought it to her office when she realized my husband and I left it behind when the after party finished, and Nina was bale to locate it. She brought it to my room herself 45 minutes before we checked out. Additionally, we had a medical emergency with one of our guests. I’m not sure who in particular was involved with helping, but Nobu: - Helped us get the guest to a hospital - Arranged for the guests’ suitcase and food be brought to the hospital - Arranged for the guest to have a wheelchair when they returned to the event - Were so kind, helpful and thoughtful with the situation, and gave us all well wishes and showed genuine concern. I’m sure there are a dozen other things that the Nobu did behind the scenes to make our wedding weekend so incredible. Don't hesitate to book your stay!

my girlfriend and I stayed in this hotel few nights while we where traveling in Cabo, this was an amazing experience and I recommend it to all my friends. Everything was clean and very organized, you get a personal assistant if you need anything she will bring it to you. The restaurant were very good. I can recommend Nobu restaurant for sea food, for sure the top sea food restaurant with excellent service and top notch food, we ordered 3 types of cooked fish. If you want a steak you Must to try Ardea. The food is delicious and the presentation is like a mini show and if you want they can give you a tour of the kitchen. Also don’t miss out on the spa.

I think this is probably the best resort I been to. Will be returning. Very clean atmosphere. Staff is very kind and friendly! I like that the property is connected to the Hardrock and being able to stay at both and also having all inclusive option. I also like the multiple security upon entry it makes me feel very safe and private.

Thank you Nobu, for one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. From the moment we stepped out of our car onto the Nobu property in Los Cabos, we received some of the best service we’ve ever experienced from the team members at Nobu. From the warm greeting at check in (featuring warm hand towels and delicious Iced tea), to the daily poolside service, to the personal concierge (go Abel!) - our experience at Nobu was unparalleled. We miss the people and Nobu, and we will definitely come back for future vacations!

5 star experience - everything here is perfect. a very special thank you to the wonderful staff for making every day better than the one before. we did not want to leave!! whether we wanted to relax and read at the infinity pool, or have some drinks while listening to great beats from the DJ at the swim-up bar, there was an option for everything. the food was outstanding- everything we ate was incredible. cannot recommend this hotel enough! thank you to everyone that we crossed paths with, everyone contributed to making our stay a very special and memorable one.

Staff members were very friendly and nice and service was great. But I would recommend arranging services better preferably touring the hotel grounds to know where things are and ensuring people meet thier concierge on time, because we did not get to meet our concierge during our stay or get a tour, we only got a map. Also the room was very cold at night because there is no heater install in the rooms on ground and I was given a portable heater at 6:00am which made it difficult to sleep at night.

Let me start by saying i never leave reviews and hardly complain, but my experience warranted a review. I frequently visit Los Cabos & decided to book a last minute trip & try Nobu Hotel. The highlights included the rooms and the spa. The pool side service was great, but there were huge flies everywhere making it hard to enjoy food or drinks. I’ve never experienced this at any other hotel or resort in Cabo. The true issue comes in with the front desk staff. They are unorganized & nonchalant. Our room wasn’t ready until 1.5 hours after the 3pm check in time making us miss our original dinner reservation. Our conceirge booked another dinner reservation for us. It wasn’t until we made it to the restaurant that he let us know he made a mistake and booked the wrong restaurant. He also told us that certain experiences were completely booked without checking first. Check out was also inconvenient. Also, the location is not convenient if you plan to experience Los Cabos outside of the hotel. I will never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend. The staff was more focused on making excuses instead of finding solutions. I’m sure they will do the same in their response to my review.

Definitely one of the fanciest hotel we've stayed at with the best service, friendliest staff, and amazing amenities. The staff was very attentive and welcoming at all times. It's far away from the hustle and bustle of Los Cabos, so it takes a little extra drive time to get there, but being away from everything is so much more serene. The entire place is beautiful with pools everywhere, clean modern design, calm greenery perfectly placed, easy access to the beach (not swimmable though), great sound deadening inside the rooms, excellent in-room amenities, etc. We enjoyed food by the pool, in our room, and at three of the restaurants. We had an amazing visit. It's also the most we've spent on our rooms, but it was money well spent.

Rooms were clean and well attended to. Ample amenities. Sake in the mini bar excellent touch. We stayed 5 nights. Food was great but extremely expensive. I’ve had better sushi for a fraction of the cost. Yes NOBU is ocean side but I believe part of paying to stay in the hotel is to enjoy that and shouldn’t come at an additional premium. Remove the ocean side ambience and the restaurant just isn’t up to our standards. The reason we will likely never return is due to the extreme lack of pool spaces, the staffs lack of desire to do anything to resolve the problem. It comes off as a sham and money grab. We spent $2000 a day on a room and F+B. no room at the pool for spending that kinda coin is beyond my comprehension of hospitality. You don’t have to try hard to find better places and ways to spend your money.

  • 5/5 Pavel L. 1 year ago on Google
Nobu was great. Note it’s not all inclusive and dinner can run you past $300 a meal for 2. So we rented a car and went downtown to eat. Which was great because you get to really experience Cabo. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel. The food was really good. Coffee was good too. Everything is overpriced. Way more than even in the USA. They have a lot of games which was nice for our 1 year anniversary. Pool, corn hole, the slide sand thing. Real happy about that. They kept telling up happy anniversary which was nice. Best service ever. Workers literally stop walking and now when you pass. When we came to our room complements of Nobu chocolate covered strawberries. If you have the money go.

First night there went to eat at one of the restaurants and had flies buzzing around us non stop. We also found a fly in salad. Next morning we found a worm in the salad. When we went to Front desk to let them know we were leaving their hotel due to the incidents they dismissed what we conplained about and threatened not to refund the remainder of days. Will definitely not recommend their establishment.

  • 1/5 Lizzie K. 9 months ago on Google
Nobu rooms are magnificent however, thinking I am going to have the best experience in Nobu, I was saddened to have received my salad, twice in two different meals and two different days with INSECTS in it. Of course the food was returned to the kitchen but I was so disgusted that I had to leave the hotel and go to another one to finish my planned vacation. The manager was not being helpful and mentioned that I am not being truthful about the insects in my food. Very disappointing to be treated that way. I would never go back there and recommend all of you not to waste your time and money there.

We had a great time at Nobu with our 18-month-old. The resort is nice/new and food is A+ as far as MX 5-star resort food goes. Rates are "cheap" relative to other resorts but you will forcibly make up for it with dining. Easily $500/day+ for 2 people eating and having 3-4 drinks each, but will say worth the cost. While the resort is "family friendly" it's not designed with kids in mind and every surface is either stone or lined with cacti with sharp barbs. There's no area to really let them run freely around. This resort is definitely best for a couple or friends going on vacation, not kids. It's somewhat of a scene...if that's the vibe you want certainly will find. DO NOT go on the sales pitch, it's not worth the dining/spa credit. It's miserable and poorly presented and the deal is horrendous, only an idiot would sign up. There are some other small charges which are somewhat insulting on principal they need to adjust. Aside from that highly recommend if looking for a nice modern resort with great food...but know you're near nothing so unlikely to leave the resort unless up for a long/windy drive.

If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful, elegant hotel stay with great service, this is your place! The room was spacious, with a great view. The lower level rooms had pool patios while the rooms above provided great areas to be outside. The staff was prominent and courteous. The pools are great swimming and relaxing areas that allow you to choose your atmosphere. The beach is in walking distance, but waves are large so no swimming. They have kid activities in a designated area, along with scheduled activities in the morning. Walking to the area is a little creepy though. Was sort of dark and off to the side. The only negative things I would say would have to unfortunately be the food at the hotel at the restaurants room service for breakfast did provide a great meal. I was expecting a little bit more with the food at the hotels but it just never came to pass. The people that I was with also agreed as we all tried various idols. Trying to find that one Great thing. The last thing that would be a negative would be at the beginning or the welcoming at the entrance. They did allow for someone to pitch a timeshare unfortunately. This person also approached me once while going to breakfast about the same thing. I would still highly recommend visiting and enjoying the grounds.

The food is everything you'd expect from Nobu, absolutely amazing. The views are great. Further from town than other places to stay but everything you need is on resort, if that's the kinda vacation you're looking for. Came with my 4 yr old daughter and had no issues finding good that she grubbed down on. We got one of the rooms with the private pool and that was awesome too.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Service is great. Different restaurant options and amazing pools. Great place to relax, there is a dj on the main pool during the afternoon. One night we were not feeling well so we left most of the food we ordered at one of the restaurants. They asked if there was something wrong with the food, we mentioned we were feeling sick, they were worried if we got sick of the restaurant food but that was not the case. Either way, when we got into our room, someone called asking if they could do anything for us and sent a variety of tea to help us. This was such an amazing act. I really appreciate the attention to the details. Only negative: you can’t swim in the ocean as per the hotel location (very common in Los Cabos, same happens with hard rock hotel)
