Beware!!
Thief
on
property.
Read
prior
reviews.
It
happened
to
us
and
it
wasnât
the
first
time
at
this
resort.
Management
will
say
they
will
look
into
but
ultimately
will
do
nothing
except
remind
you
of
their
hotel
policy!
My
husband
and
I
love
Cabo.
This
was
our
2nd
visit
this
year.
The
Villa
we
were
assigned
was
far
from
perfect
except
for
the
views.
The
maintenance
was
lacking
but
Karen,
our
personal
concierge,
was
wonderful
to
work
with
and
made
sure
things
were
addressed
immediately.
If
you
are
use
to
âluxuryâ
then
Montecristco
would
be
a
STRETCH.
The
overall
maintenance
of
the
buildings
is
pretty
bad.
Walls
and
tile
floors
are
cracked,
paint
peeling
off
interior
and
exterior
walls,
visible
water
damage
inside
villa,
broken
fountains,
cracked
and
missing
tile
roofs
on
many
buildingsâŠ.The
list
could
go
on.
We
also
had
ant
problems
and
found
a
HUGE
roach
in
our
bedroom.
Despite
the
lack
of
maintenance,
we
could
get
over
all
of
that
due
to
the
wonderful
staff
such
as
Karen,
all
the
shuttle
drivers,
the
servers,
the
bartenders
and
room
service
deliverers
that
we
encountered.
Even
tho
our
premium
inclusive
package
included
tips,
we
always
tipped
extra
on
everything
because
you
can
tell
all
the
service
staff
really
want
the
guests
to
be
happy
and
we
loved
that!
Unfortunately,
our
fun
week
with
family
was
absolutely
ruined
on
our
last
day
when
2
AWFUL
things
happened.
The
first
was
when
we
decided
to
get
more
information
on
possibly
upgrading
our
current
timeshare
contract.
The
sales
person/manager,
was
beyond
aggressive.
When
we
told
him
we
werenât
ready
to
commit
to
anything
this
trip,
he
pretty
much
threatened
us
by
saying
that
we
would
be
âblacklistedâ.
Trying
to
bully
us
into
making
a
decision
to
sign
left
an
awful
feeling,
especially
since
we
just
enjoyed
the
whole
week
with
our
family
and
just
wanted
to
come
back
one
more
time
before
making
another
investment
into
the
property.
The
WORST
part
of
our
experience
is
that
when
we
were
packing
to
go
back
home,
my
husband
discovered
that
a
bank
envelope
that
contained
several
thousand
dollars
was
STOLEN
from
his
book
bag
that
we
left
in
our
room.
Yes,
we
shouldâve
put
in
the
safe.
Our
mistake
for
thinking
we
were
staying
in
a
luxury
establishment
that
provided
security
for
their
guests
and
letting
our
guard
down.
Hard
lesson
learned.
When
we
notified
Karen,
she
sent
security
right
away
to
make
the
report.
They
scanned
the
front
door
to
see
who
had
access
and
told
me
they
would
get
back
to
us
once
they
do
their
investigation.
Of
course,
they
didnât
find
any
of
their
staff
to
be
responsible
and
reminded
me
of
their
hotel
policy.
But
Iâm
pretty
sure
the
cleaning
lady
set
it
up.
When
I
was
doing
laundry
earlier
that
evening,
I
noticed
that
the
laundry
room
window
was
left
open.
This
window
is
accessible
from
the
side
entrance/stairs
of
the
villa
and
large
and
low
enough
for
someone
to
enter
the
villa
without
accessing
the
front
door.
Our
Thanksgiving
Family
vacation
ended
with
so
much
stress
and
disappointment.
Shame
on
whoever
took
that
cash
and
hope
that
they
know
karma
is
very
real!!
