The Montecristo Luxury Villas had terrible customer service, not just during my stay but unfortunately this has continued afterward. The cockroaches I found and long wait times to get any request filled I could deal with. My villa--villa 17 at the top of the hill--was infested by mice. That was the icing on the cake. Two nights in a row I called asking them to fix. They sent someone up who found the mouse den but the only remedy they had was to jab a coat hanger in the room. The problem was be arable the first night as I heard them scurrying around on the floor. However, the second night they mice were braver. My wife woke up to them crawling on her. I asked to change rooms, but was told they were too late in the night (it was 3 am something at this point). Then I expected a credit when checking out. To make matters worse, I went to feed my 3 mo old daughter at 5 :30 am and found that the mice chewed through all the bottle tops. So she had no where to eat out of for the entire 6 hour flight back to NYC. After spending 1 hour trying to check out. Still no credit. I was told that the concierge, Raul would get in contact with us to rectify. He went back and forth with my wife for a little while but then stopped responding and did not offer any credit. I uploaded pictures of the mice chewing through the bottle taken at the front desk, and pictures of the mouse droppings (there were a lot more than just those in the am). I would stay away from villa 17.

Love Montecristo. Service is amazing. Staff are very attentive. The villas are huge with two stories featuring two living rooms, 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (some with 5 bathrooms) Perfect for groups. Everyone has their own space with their own bathrooms. Nothing beats these views and the sunsets The hotels below have so many options for food everyone can eat together although in 15 years of coming here I’ve noticed the food isn’t as great as it used to be since the hotels went all inclusive but the kitchens in MC are fully equipped and you get a bbq so we love cooking or checking out restaurants in town. Don’t miss Sunday brunch though! Very decadent. The Montecristo clubhouse and spa are our favs to visit (try the water circuit) and if we need more action we take the shuttle to PB Rose in town to swim in the ocean and walk around Cabo. We always get 7 days all inclusive. We also do a timeshare presentation there and get $400USD. I’ve never found them pushy and I’m out within 2 hours. For us $400USD is worth it and it lets us over food the rest of our days at the resort plus get a massage😉

The villa exceeded my expectations!!! Beautiful, clean and the staff is amazing. The food at Monte Christo was a little disappointing but good, at The Market, breakfast was good, lunch could have been better...the food at the Bonito Rose was very good. The view from my villa, what can I say, I could live here!!!! I would definitely come back to The Pueblo Bonito Monte Cristo again and again....there was a cat 2 hurricane while I was here and you would have never even known, one day of rain!!!

Never use a 3rd party site or app. We weren't aware or hidden fees. I've They should reevaluate who's leasing the Villas.

Title: **Montecristo Luxury Villas: Exemplary Luxury with Unforgettable Service** Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) Recently, we had the pleasure of staying at Montecristo Luxury Villas for a week, and the experience was beyond incredible. Nestled between the comforts of a home and the grandeur of a five-star resort, this place beautifully balanced luxury with intimacy. The villa we stayed in exuded an air of sophistication and warmth. Its cleanliness was exemplary, maintained daily by an efficient housekeeping team. This attention to detail allowed us to truly sink into the vacation mood, and view our villa as a home away from home. One particular aspect of our stay that stands out is the private pool - a symbol of the exclusivity and relaxation Montecristo is renowned for. Coupled with the awe-inspiring views of the beach, waking up to such picturesque beauty was a dreamlike experience. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the staff. Each member was professional, amicable, and dedicated to ensuring our comfort. Among them, our concierge, Adrian Chavez, was a standout. His attentiveness and genuine care for our needs made our trip that much more enjoyable. Adrian was a testament to Montecristo's unrivaled commitment to service. The gastronomic journey at Montecristo was nothing short of extraordinary. Dining at Cibola provided us with a wide variety of high-quality food that was as pleasing to the eyes as it was to the palate. The Suite Service was equally impressive, making each meal an intimate, gourmet experience. A major selling point of Montecristo Luxury Villas is the privacy it offers. The ability to unwind in our own space, without interruption, significantly enriched our vacation experience. In conclusion, our time at Montecristo Luxury Villas was more than just a vacation; it was an unforgettable journey into the world of luxury and top-notch service. With an eager anticipation of our next visit, we highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a unique blend of privacy, comfort, and luxury. Montecristo Luxury Villas, with its exceptional staff like Adrian Chavez, will make sure your stay is truly unforgettable.

Beware!! Thief on property. Read prior reviews. It happened to us and it wasn’t the first time at this resort. Management will say they will look into but ultimately will do nothing except remind you of their hotel policy! My husband and I love Cabo. This was our 2nd visit this year. The Villa we were assigned was far from perfect except for the views. The maintenance was lacking but Karen, our personal concierge, was wonderful to work with and made sure things were addressed immediately. If you are use to “luxury” then Montecristco would be a STRETCH. The overall maintenance of the buildings is pretty bad. Walls and tile floors are cracked, paint peeling off interior and exterior walls, visible water damage inside villa, broken fountains, cracked and missing tile roofs on many buildings
.The list could go on. We also had ant problems and found a HUGE roach in our bedroom. Despite the lack of maintenance, we could get over all of that due to the wonderful staff such as Karen, all the shuttle drivers, the servers, the bartenders and room service deliverers that we encountered. Even tho our premium inclusive package included tips, we always tipped extra on everything because you can tell all the service staff really want the guests to be happy and we loved that! Unfortunately, our fun week with family was absolutely ruined on our last day when 2 AWFUL things happened. The first was when we decided to get more information on possibly upgrading our current timeshare contract. The sales person/manager, was beyond aggressive. When we told him we weren’t ready to commit to anything this trip, he pretty much threatened us by saying that we would be “blacklisted”. Trying to bully us into making a decision to sign left an awful feeling, especially since we just enjoyed the whole week with our family and just wanted to come back one more time before making another investment into the property. The WORST part of our experience is that when we were packing to go back home, my husband discovered that a bank envelope that contained several thousand dollars was STOLEN from his book bag that we left in our room. Yes, we should’ve put in the safe. Our mistake for thinking we were staying in a luxury establishment that provided security for their guests and letting our guard down. Hard lesson learned. When we notified Karen, she sent security right away to make the report. They scanned the front door to see who had access and told me they would get back to us once they do their investigation. Of course, they didn’t find any of their staff to be responsible and reminded me of their hotel policy. But I’m pretty sure the cleaning lady set it up. When I was doing laundry earlier that evening, I noticed that the laundry room window was left open. This window is accessible from the side entrance/stairs of the villa and large and low enough for someone to enter the villa without accessing the front door. Our Thanksgiving Family vacation ended with so much stress and disappointment. Shame on whoever took that cash and hope that they know karma is very real!!

Stayed here for 8 days. Our villa had its own pool and hot tub. Room service was prompt and friendly. We had a small issue kinda late one evening, and it was quickly taken care of after 1 call to the front desk. I was shocked how professional and easy to interact with the staffing team is. Our group of 6 adults had an overwhelming majority positive experience here. The whole place operates on an RFID wristband system. You use the RFID as your door key, access to bars and restaurants, and activities around the resort. Makes it so nice and easy to go swim and have drinks without worries about keeping a wallet or key with you all times. There's an included golf cart and shuttle service to take care of getting you around the resort. Makes it easy getting from the multiple pools and restaurants around the property. The all-inclusive package worked out great for our group. Even room service has a menu that is part of this package.

There is a Step at Jacuzzi be careful because it’s same color as the ground. Look closely my wet foot print, I almost took a spill, different color or non slip tape needed. Also the drain in the toilet area might get sewer smell, so it might not be you :)doing your business. STILL WONDERFUL Trip. Remember $ell SmArt with Art!

Owner, this was my first time traveling with a large group! Everyone was very nice and greeted you with a smile. The food was delightful at every restaurant. Roman was a great shuttle driver; he remembered my name and the rest of the names of my guest impressive! Karen, our concierge was great! Everything about our stay was spectacular. I could not have asked for a better Birthday celebration!

Awesome place to stay, great views and better amenities than PB Sunset rooms offer. (Personal pool, hot tub, washer/dryer, stove, and dishwasher). If I came back with Family again I'd get one of these and go buy a weeks worth of food at a market in town so I wouldn't have to really leave. That being said these villas are starting to show their age. Each had a couple maintenance issues. For example the clothes washer and the half bath sink was broken in mine and the stove, fountain and pool infinity edge were broken in my other Family's Villa. To give you an idea of when they were built, the pool rules state "No CD players without headphones."

*Room service is awesome, but choose items that will travel well *Butler service is hit or miss depending on who you get *Avoid the buffet (seafood buffet in particular should be considered a contradictory pair of words) The experience here was totally fantastic.

Beautiful spacious place to stay. Very private. Beautiful pool. Our Villa was a long ways to the beach, so if you want the beach this is a trip from any villa. Trolly comes for you quickly but it took 2 trollies to get to beach. Very clean and well appointed. Must have car to get groceries.

This is our 3rd vacation at this property, and our first as owners. The overall resort has grown tremendously since our first visit several years ago! Outstanding restaurants, boutiques and activity amenities! Awesome staff!
